They returned from Mountain View Community. Yang Shaoqun glanced at the time and noticed it was still early.

"It's almost time for our office hours. Xiao Song, Chengwei, Shanfei, investigate Xiong Shishi, Cao Keya, and Liu Peipei's communities respectively. Each of you is in charge of one community, and try your best to locate anyone who matches Mr. Qi's description."

Zou Chengwei asked the shops and offices one by one but failed to locate any potential suspect. He started to doubt Qi Youxuan if he had made a wrong guess.

Qi Youxuan was just a man after all. He did not possess the ability to predict the truth like a God. Hope had started to fade away as Zou Chengwei stepped into a property agency company.

Before entering the office, Zou Chengwei even lifted his gaze to check for the office's name—Home Love Property Agency Company.

"Mister, are you here to check for a property? Do you intend to purchase or rent a house?" A young lady in her twenties welcomed Zou Chengwei's arrival.

"Police." Zou Chengwei showed his identification card which gave the young lady quite a shock. "I'm here to ask some questions."

Anxiety was inevitable when police officers visited without prior warning.

"What… What happened? Erm… Police officer, please take a seat. I'll bring you a glass of water," said the nervous young lady.

"There's no need for such trouble," replied Zou Chengwei while he scanned around the office.

The company rented this single-bedroom unit in the community as an office, so the layout size was considered small with six tables placed in the living room as the property agents' office desks. There was another table placed in the only bedroom in this unit, which presumably belonged to the office manager of this property agency company.

"Where are your colleagues? Are you the only one in this office?" asked Zou Chengwei.

"They're bringing customers for a site viewing," answered the young lady.

"What's your name?" asked Zou Chengwei again.

The young lady was wearing a neat black uniform, which seemed to be the company's formal dress code.

"My name is Cui Xiuya, and this is my business card," replied Cui Xiuya before passing a business card to Zou Chengwei.

Zou Chengwei accepted the business card and peeked at it momentarily before keeping it. "Do you have the personnel records for this office?"

"Yes, please wait for a moment." Cui Xiuya went into the bedroom which served as the shop manager's office. After searching for quite some time, she returned with six file holders in her hands. "Mine is included as well."

Zou Chengwei nodded and praised the young lady for her consideration.

Each personnel record was thin since it only consisted of basic information such as their address, the institution which the individual graduated from, and so on.

Zou Chengwei scanned through the pages very seriously despite the lack of high hopes. Then, his eyes widened in disbelief when he started reading the third staff's personal information.

First and foremost, the passport-sized photograph on the personnel record matched the description provided by Qi Youxuan. Even though Qi Youxuan merely gave a rough idea of the suspect's appearance, Zou Chengwei had a feeling that the suspect should look like this man for some inexplicable reason.

This feeling was almost similar to the time when Qi Youxuan came up with so many characteristics, personality, and even background of the suspect with only some clues during the profile analysis, which felt incredible to say the least.

Zou Chengwei finally had a grasp of this feeling at present.

The excited Zou Chengwei stood up abruptly while reading which startled Cui Xiuya.

"Police officer, is there a problem?" asked Cui Xiuya.

"Fan Yansong used to stay in B City and came here to work a year ago, yes?" asked Zou Chengwei.

"Yes. He was the third batch1 of undergraduate in a bachelor's degree in B City and came to T City a year ago. I don't even know why he came to work as a property agent. My colleagues and I graduated with an associate's degree since this job required only great eloquence and hard work instead of a high educational background. He graduated with a bachelor's degree, and even though he was the third batch of undergraduate, he didn't have to work as a property agent. Well, at least a property agent can earn a lot by getting commission from selling a property. I guess that was exactly what he had in mind when he chose this profession," replied Cui Xiuya.

"Is Fan Yansong married as far as you know?" asked Zou Chengwei.

Cui Xiuya shook her head in response. "No, he's still single and doesn't have a girlfriend yet. He was closely associated with those aunties in the community and some introduced young ladies to him too. If I'm not mistaken, he had two girlfriends before this but broke up in the end."

"He came here for only one year and already had two relationships before this?" asked the curious Zou Chengwei. Damn, Fan Yansong was indeed a man of ability!

Zou Chengwei was still a bare branch even at present!

"They were introduced by the aunties in the community. He actually met with quite a few young ladies but these two raised his interest and he wanted to give it a try. After dating a few times, he figured that the relationships wouldn't work out and broke up in the end. Each relationship ended in less than a month, which sounds like he actually had many girlfriends before this," answered Cui Xiuya. "Police officer, what happened to Fan Yansong?"

"Nothing. I was just here to investigate a case. Where's Fan Yansong right now?" asked Zou Chengwei.

"He went to search for available nearby properties this morning and should be back in the afternoon. I met with an auntie in the community just now and she said she'll deliver Baozi for him in the afternoon," replied Cui Xiuya.

"He's really that close with the aunties in the community?" asked the surprised Zou Chengwei.

Cui Xiuya was smart enough to speak without reserve since it was fairly obvious that Fan Yansong must be involved with the case the police officer was investigating. "Yes. Other than cooking, those aunties usually have nothing to do and will take their grandchildren, if they have any, to gather around for chit chat. Fan Yansong joins them a lot and always tells jokes to make them happy, and he's willing to hear the gossip from those aunties too, which gives them great satisfaction. Whenever there's anyone interested in selling or purchasing properties, the aunties will surely introduce to him since they're so close together. Since this property agency company is just a branch, the main office will usually assess each branch office's profits and sales every half-year, and Fan Yansong had won prizes several times before this. He has the best sales not just in this office, but in all branches in T City as well."

"Other than that, do you know if he was married or had a serious relationship before this? After all, he would've thrived in B City and had more room for development than in T City. He's currently thirty years old and came to T City a year ago, which meant that he stayed in B City for five years after his graduation. His personnel record also stated that he was a local citizen in B City and his house is situated in B City, so he didn't have to leave his work and home behind to come to T City for further development. That's a really difficult process," said Zou Chengwei.

Cui Xiuya gave this some thought and gave an uncertain answer, "Last time when we were having a year-end party, I remember that he got drunk and mentioned something about having a girlfriend in a stable relationship for four to five years and they were even engaged at that time. His girlfriend didn't live in B City but she moved into his house directly and started living together with his parents after both of them had decided on marriage. Even though they hadn't received any marriage certificate, his parents had already considered her as their daughter-in-law. However, she started cheating on him with her department manager in her company one year before they broke up just for the sake of easier job promotions. Besides, the manager was quite wealthy too."

"He noticed that his girlfriend's belongings were getting expensive and she even had a few luxury handbags. That was the time when he realized that his girlfriend had cheated on him and demanded to breakup. That issue came to him and his family as a huge beating and caused him to move to T City afterward. He blurted it out after having too much drink last time, otherwise we wouldn't know about his suffering too," replied Cui Xiuya.

Cui Xiuya hesitated momentarily before asking, "Police officer, please tell me if he did something wrong. At least I'll be prepared and won't give myself away when the time comes. If he committed a crime, I'll need to stay away from him so that I won't accidentally provoke him which may result in my injury. I can't believe it. He looks like a gentleman and gets along well with anybody. What sort of crime did he commit for you to ask in such great detail? Judging by your reaction, the case must be huge and serious. You're dressed in civilian clothes, you must be in charge of major cases, right?"

"..." Zou Chengwei was left speechless.

"Lady, it's a waste that you're not studying criminology. You're good at careful observation and reading microexpressions!" Zou Chengwei fought the urge to laugh.

Cui Xiuya smiled and replied, "Haha, my job requires me to observe customers' expressions very carefully."

"It's not that I don't want to tell you, but I'm worried that you might behave unnaturally when you face Fan Yansong after realizing the truth. That way, he might notice that something is wrong. Besides, we're just finding possible suspects at the moment. We can't blame any good man when we don't have any confirmation," said Zou Chengwei.

A shock was registered on Cui Xiuya's face all of a sudden. "Police officer, is this about the murder case in Mountain View Community?"

Cui Xiuya was shuddering under intense fear.

"..." There was no way Zou Chengwei would admit the truth.

"Lady, don't be ridiculous. Your imagination is running wild right now. Come to think of it, you know about the murder case in that community?" asked Zou Chengwei.

"Of course, that issue attracted lots of attention. How could we not know about it? Besides, my profession requires me to observe the property trends at all times. Someone just died in that unit, so it'll be extremely difficult to rent or sell it in the future," said Cui Xiuya while shaking her head.

三本 or 本科第三批 basically meant that the students involved were in the third batch of admission for the Chinese college entrance examination. The tuition fee was higher as well.
