Vladimir was surprised by Aleksander's statement. "What do you mean? Of course I can do everything on my own. What are you here for?" said Vladimir angrily.

Aleksander shrinks in fear and just looked down. "I am sorry," he replied.

"I have been keeping a watch on Wu Lina and with the kind of security she has it will be difficult for us to take her out. It seems that Yang Xinyu has restricted all her movements," said Vladimir with a gaze boring Aleksander.

Although, Aleksander already knew about all it, he kept quiet.

"We have to devise a plan to take out Wu Lina from there," continued Vladimir.

"But Wu Lina is pregnant. If you will touch her, Yang Xinyu and the Chairman wouldn't sit quietly," said Aleksander with a warning in his voice.

"Yes, I know. But once she is in my field, they can't do anything," replied Vladimir in the most menacing manner. For him Wu Lina was priceless. She was his daughter and she belonged to his world. He had to give her all his wealth before it passed onto the men who were like vultures around him. He was also wary of Aleksander. But he involved him in all his plans in order to keep a close watch on him.

"We have to have a doctor with us at all times who is very experience to get my daughter over here safely. So find a doctor and also find a man who is adept in the art of war. He should be with me always so that if the plan backfires he is able to get me out of that place unharmed. I want you to come with me."

Aleksander was getting so furious at Vladimir's plan that he had clenched his fists until the knuckles became pale. The old man was going insane. He would get many men killed before Wu Lina is taken out. Was he trying to wage a war against the Yang family? According to Aleksander's sources, the Chairman and Yang Xinyu were much more than what met the eye. They had deep roots in the underworld. It was rumored that they had a cell of sleeping army that was highly specialized in all combative forms.

But Vladimir was going crazy. Aleksander knew that there would be no stopping him.

They both brainstormed a plan. Vladimir was interested in getting her safe because after all she had three of his grandchildren. It was kind of a lottery for him. He had never in his dreams imagined that his daughter would give him such fantastic news. And now he wanted all of them for himself. His greed had overcome his sanity.

As far as Aleksander was concerned, he just concentrated on getting Wu Lina to Bulgaria. He wasn't interested in her children. He had other plans.

"You have to create a smooth path for me in that country once again Aleksander," said Vladimir.

Over the next few days, Vladimir recruited a mercenary who would accompany him to the country because Aleksander had failed to find a good one. The mercenary was ordered to protect Wu Lina and her kids at all times.

Aleksander activated his sources to find an opportunity.

When the plan was formed, Vladimir called Wenqian. She was the best person to get Wu Lina out of the house.

"Wenqian, I have a favor to ask," said Vladimir requesting her to arrange a meeting with Wu Lina as per his plan A.

"Vladimir, I will ask her. But I highly doubt that she will come. There is a lot of security around her," said Wenqian.

"But I am her father and I want to see my child. What is the harm in that?" he cried.

Wenqian knew that and she shifted in her place with agitation and impatience. "Okay, I will call her…"

Next day Wenqian placed a call to Wu Lina and said, "Wu Lina, your father wants to see you."

Wu Lina became excited. She misunderstood Wenqian's statement and asked, "Really mom? He wants to see me after all those years? Has he missed me?"

Wenqian became confused, and then when she understood, she laughed, although it was a short laugh, which turned into a sad expression. After a moment of silence she said, "Wu Lina, I am talking about Vladimir… he wants to meet you… he said that he will come here soon…"

Wu Lina's face fell. Her momentary happiness vanished in thin air. Somewhere deep down in her heart she wished that her adoptive father meet her…

"I am so sorry mother, Yang Xinyu has limited my movements. It has become such an issue to even step out of the house for shopping. There is so much security that it is tiring," said Wu Lina feeling depressed and sealing this issue once and for all. She was really not interested in creating any fuss regarding her visits.

"Okay Wu Lina," said Wenqian and disconnected the line. She also didn't want to argue with her, as she didn't want to stress her.

When Yang Xinyu came in the evening from the office, Wu Lina narrated conversation with Wenqian. Although he listened to her quietly, there was a storm going inside his mind. What was Vladimir's purpose of meeting Wu Lina now? He became paranoid. He held Wu Lina's hand and pulled her in his embrace. Why was everybody after their new-found happiness? He lifted her chin and said, "Do you want to meet Vladimir?"

Wu Lina shook her head and said, "No…"

"Will you leave me to go back to your biological father?"

Wu Lina slapped him on his arm and said threateningly, "Don't even think that I will leave you. I can't think of a day without you."

Wu Lina sounded so innocent like a lamb that Yang Xinyu pressed her in his chest. He pursed his lips with anxiety in his heart. What turmoil was coming next in their lives? He buried his head in her neck to forget it. He wanted to be with her in this moment. He knew that Wenqian was becoming trouble without her realizing it and he had to protect his love.

Later at night Yang Xinyu placed several calls.
