After Vladimir made the announcement about Yan Xiaojun, he took him to Wu Lina who was still sitting in her chair. Yan Xiaojun could see how exhausted she was. But he marveled the fact that she was enduring it all.

Wu Lina noticed the two of them approaching her. She turned her face away to show her dissatisfaction and also indicate that they should not come near her. She didn't want to talk to any of them. Vladimir was already used to her behavior by now, so he ignored her conduct. But Yan Xiaojun was expecting it. He had a tough task ahead of not only making her talk to him but also convincing her that he was there for her.

When the two of them were standing by her side, Vladimir said with a smile, "Do you remember Yan Xiaojun?"

Wu Lina gave Vladimir a fierce look and said, "I don't remember terrible things that happened in my life. Bad memories are better if they are locked in a casket and tossed into the depths of the ocean."

Vladimir winced, and looking at Yan Xiaojun, he said, "That's my daughter for you. Have a nice time with her!" He turned to leave.

He must have taken two steps before turning back again. He took two fingers on his lips and then pointing them at Yan Xiaojun, he said, "Oh! I have to tell you this Wu Lina. It was Yan Xiaojun who had told me about Wenqian's whereabouts. If it hadn't been for him, I would have never found you. When I heard about Wenqian, I had activated my people over there to first confirm me whether you were my daughter or not. For that I went to extreme lengths to get the DNA test done. You see money wields power anywhere in this world! As soon as your DNA test came out positive, it was a breeze to get your adoption papers completed over here. That pathetic husband of Wenqian, Wu Yi-Zheng, was more than happy to remove you from his family register. So, your identity is now linked with your father's identity. You are Lina Yankova. Remember that forever!"

Vladimir said this almost warning her not to mess with him. But Wu Lina stared back in his eyes with a scorn. "My identity begins and ends with Yang Xinyu, and if you have finished with your nonsense, you can leave!" she said in the same heated manner as him.

Vladimir was taken aback by her fiery words. But then only his child could speak with him like that. He left her with Yan Xiaojun.

Once they were alone Yan Xiaojun chuckled and said, "Hello, Lina Yankova."

He waited for her to answer and she replied, "Get lost from here before I kill you with my hands."

"Wow! We have a tigress here!" he smirked. He knew that there were too many people watching around, so he had to talk to her carefully. He had to keep the conversation going on until he found an opportunity to convey her somehow what he had planned.

He continued, "How are you feeling? I heard you are pregnant."

"Oh! That is none of your concern," she became more aggressive.

He smiled and said, "Of course that is my concern. After all, I loved you once, and I am asking because I still feel for you."

She wanted to swat him like she would have swatted a fly around her. She clenched her teeth and said, "Take your concern and shove it elsewhere. Now leave or I will call these security to throw you out."

Yan Xiaojun blew air out of his mouth and said, "Tsk, tsk. So much anger is not good for your health." He looked around and noticed that they were now at a fair distance from security men who had now left to have dinner. He said, "Calm down and listen to me carefully."

But Wu Lina was exasperated. Angrily she raised her voice a little and said, "Will you please leave? I don't want to talk to you!"

She was shocked to see that he wouldn't budge from his place. He stood there stubbornly. On hearing her loud voice, Zhao Hai xiang came rushing to her side. He glowered at Yan Xiaojun.

Yan Xiaojun looked at him and asked Wu Lina, "Who is this little kitty in your lair?"

Zhao Hai xiang clenched his fists and replied, "Would you like to see how this kitty scratches his opponents?"

Yan Xiaojun laughed. Even though he understood that Zhao Hai xiang was there for protecting her, he couldn't let his guard down. Before he could speak another word, Aleksander had come to join the conversation. Yan Xiaojun became angry at this situation. But he was holding up.

Aleksander glared at Zhao Hai xiang and asked Yan Xiaojun tauntingly, "Have you met this little bas*ard?"

"Yes," said Yan Xiaojun with a smile. "He is quite a kitty you know," he added and they both started laughing.

Wu Lina stood up from her chair and scowled at them. Aleksander left snickering at her because he knew that Vladimir wouldn't take it nicely if he derided Wu Lina. But Yan Xiaojun still did not move.
