When Aleksander took out his gun and pointed it at Yan Xiaojun, Yan Xiaojun wondered how many times his life would be at stake for the sake of Wu Lina. He wanted to live!

He became bored of Aleksander and turned his gaze towards Vladimir. He said, "Please give me some time to think because in that case a lot of things need to be considered."

"Of course," said Vladimir with a sinister laughter.

Stowing away his gun, Aleksander said, "If you don't mind, father, I also have something to ask you. It is very important."

Vladimir already knew what Aleksander wanted and said, "Go ahead."

"It would be a great honor for me if you would allow me to marry Lina Yankova."

Vladimir smiled and looked at both the suitors for his daughter. Inside, he said, 'See Yang Xinyu, you are nothing!'

"Well, we will see. Ultimately, it is Lina who has to choose," said Vladimir and left.

Aleksander and Yan Xiaojun glared at each other. Initially, they were friends when they started, but now they were rivals. Yan Xiaojun knew that it would be risky to stay with Aleksander anymore over there, so he left the place and wandered off to Wu Lina's room.

He saw that she was sitting by the aquarium and watching the various fish as they swam randomly from one place to the other. He couldn't agree more that it was indeed the most mesmerizing view of the entire mansion. Zhao Hai xiang also entered the room a few minutes later, distracting both of them.

Yan Xiaojun was nervous about breaking the news to her. He coughed slightly before saying, "Wu Lina, I have asked your father to give your hand in marriage to me."

Wu Lina's jaw dropped as she heard this stupid man. She spat at him, "Yan Xiaojun, have you gone nuts, by any chance? You know I am carrying Yang Xinyu's babies. I wouldn't marry anyone else in this life or the next! So be gone!"

He was expecting that reaction. He turned to Zhao Hai xiang for help, as Zhao Hai xiang knew what was going on.

Zhao Hai xiang strolled towards Wu Lina and said, "Wu Lina, don't get mad at him. There is another suitor for you in this compound."

Wu Lina was getting irritated by the number of suitors that surrounded her!

"Between the two, whom would you select?" asked Zhao Hai xiang with a chuckle. He wanted her to be as stress free as she could.

"Would you like to take a stroll with me along the lake side?" asked Yan Xiaojun. Wu Lina looked at him angrily and said, "You sure have the guts to ask me that. Get out!"

Zhao Hai xiang laughed at the situation. In between his laughter, he said, "Wu Lina, let's all go out for the stroll. I think Mr. Tanaka may also join us."

Wu Lina's eyes twinkled as she heard the name of Mr. Tanaka. She got up from her place slowly, containing her excitement, and said quietly, "Okay, let's go."

Both Yan Xiaojun and Zhao Hai xiang laughed at her, much to her amusement. Wu Lina was as usual surrounded by a set of maids when she walked to the lakeside. Yan Xiaojun and Zhao Hai xiang walked behind them. They all walked slowly and quietly, spellbound by the beauty that surrounded the lake. The birds were creating a lot of noise as they would jump in the lake to fetch food for their young ones. The green trees that lined the lake were full of wildlife that dominated the area. All of a sudden, they saw a herd of deer running away in the distance. Wu Lina was surprised to see so many deer when one of the maids explained to her in broken English that the estate was too huge and this was a common occurrence in this part of the property.

They must have walked for twenty minutes when they all heard someone calling them from behind. It was Mr. Tanaka! He caught up with them all, panting and puffing. "Oh! Hello, Ms. Wu Lina," he said with a hand on his waist.

She beamed at him and started walking towards him to support him when she was stopped by Zhao Hai xiang, who stepped before her and helped Mr. Tanaka.

"Your father asked me to meet you. You see, I am leaving for Russia tomorrow, and I was very busy packing, but I came to see you," he said with a hint of humor.

She guffawed before saying, "Mr. Tanaka, thank you for visiting me. Please walk with us."

Mr. Tanaka signaled Zhao Hai xiang to take away those maids somewhere, as he wanted to be alone with his wife.

Both Zhao Hai xiang and Yan Xiaojun distracted the maids by their stupid antics. Zhao Hai xiang went to the lakeside and tripped inside. Yan Xiaojun shouted for the maids to help them out. While everyone was busy, the couple walked far away from them to have some quality time together.

As Wu Lina was tired after walking, she sat beneath a canopy of trees in a place where no one could see them. Yang Xinyu sat down with her and pulled her on his lap. He curled his arms around her waist and dipped his head in the crook of her neck. For Yang Xinyu, to have something so perfect as Wu Lina, even for a short while was more than enough to sustain all the anxieties he was suffering. He knew she would go away soon, but it was magical.

"Wu Lina, when will this end?" he asked, kissing her neck.

She brought her hands in his hair and caressed him. "Soon…"

"Do you know that that jerk Yan Xiaojun and Aleksander have asked my father to give my hand in marriage to them?" she added.

Yang Xinyu knew about Yan Xiaojun's plan, but Aleksander? He narrowed his eyes and said, "Yan Xiaojun is a part of the plan, but be careful of Aleksander. He is trouble."
