Yan Xiaojun loved the fact that she was eager to begin working on the new project. He looked at her with interest and said, "You can always use your skills that you have acquired by working at your father's guesthouse."

Rosa grinned and replied, "I had been helping papa for almost an year. I helped him around the kitchen, the interiors and even buying groceries for the guesthouse."

"That's great experience Rosa," said Yan Xiaojun evoking a lovely grin on her face.

Later at night when they went to sleep, Rosa first went to check on Ivan. She had been cradling him in her lap only when she had to feed. But that evening after dinner she played with him for a long time until he went off to sleep. When she came back to her bedroom, she missed Ivan, so she went back to fetch him and made him sleep beside her on the bed. She placed him away from Yan Xiaojun so that he slept peacefully during night. At night when Ivan woke her up hungry, she realized that she couldn't move because Yan Xiaojun had curled his arms around her. Carefully, she removed his arms to pick Ivan. After feeding him, she slept back again in between the son and the father only to be pulled back in Yan Xiaojun's embrace.

In the morning she woke up late to find that Yan Xiaojun had already left for the office. The entire day she was keen on talking to him to know about the progress of her project but he hadn't called. She would have checked her phone hundreds of times for his call or even a message but there was nothing. By the evening she became depressed all over again. When Yan Xiaojun came home, she was again on the piano and Ivan was crying with nanny. Yan Xiaojun listened to her play the piano until she finished.

When she finished, she turned around and looked at him. Immediately she pouted her lips in anger. Yan Xiaojun came near her, held her face in his hands and said, "Rosa, it is not easy to acquire land in a day. I had been working for your project for a long time today, as I want to gift you the land rather than make you slog to find a location also. I don't want my beautiful wife to get tanned in this heat. Let me do the needful and then you can get started."

Rosa's face softened as she heard him explaining himself even though she hadn't told him why she was angry. She smiled and said, "Okay."

Together they had their dinner and went off to sleep with Ivan on their bed. Rosa found this arrangement convenient.

A week passed and still there was no news about land acquisition from Yan Xiaojun. Rosa was beginning to get impatient and she started doubting about his commitment. One day during dinner when he hadn't spoken anything about it, Rosa became fidgety. She scolded the nanny for no reason. Yan Xiaojun knew that she was getting edgy. Although he had already finalized a land deal, he had come across a resort that was being sold by its owner because the owner couldn't maintain it. Hence Yan Xiaojun was in a dilemma whether to buy the land or buy that resort. When they finished dinner and settled down to sleep, he told her about his dilemma.

Rosa was so excited to hear it. It meant that he had been working on her project. She was so thrilled that she hugged him without realizing. Yan Xiaojun looked at her affectionately and stroked her hair. He said, "What would you want Rosa?"

Rosa became aware of their situation and left him with a blush. She said, "Whatever you like Yan Xiaojun. But if we acquire that resort, I would pick up the work from where the owner had left. If possible can I see that resort before you finalize?"

Yan Xiaojun was impressed by her approach. He agreed and arranged a meeting with the resort owner the next day in the morning.

Next day the first thing that Rosa did was to get ready for the meeting. She accompanied Yan Xiaojun. But she also had to take Ivan and the nanny with them because she didn't know how much time it would take for her to come back. It was then she understood why Yan Xiaojun wasn't eager about her working anywhere. Who would take care of their son? All of a sudden she felt guilty – guilty of thinking about leaving Ivan and going back to Bulgaria.

The resort was located on a hilly terrain in the west side of City H. It was an hour's drive from their house. She had Ivan beside her in the car seat for babies all the time while Yan Xiaojun sat in front in the passenger seat. Yan Xiaojun would look at both of them and smile – his family was so beautiful. He wouldn't give them up for the world and try his best to keep them safe. He was overwhelmed at his emotion.

When the car arrived at the resort, Rosa was captivated by its location. It was nestled in between the bamboo forest. The area all around the resort was so green that she suddenly had an idea of promoting it as an exclusive spa and resort.

She looked around the resort along with the owner and kept making mental notes on where to improve it.

The owner wondered as to who was this young girl who had accompanied Yan Xiaojun. He didn't like the way she was questioning him and so he wasn't replying to her nicely. When Yan Xiaojun noticed his reluctance, he warned him, "You better answer all the questions this lady asks properly, as she would be the owner of this place and will be developing it further. So it is important that she knows about it as much as possible"

"But you said that you would be buying this place. This girl is a teenager. I don't think you are doing it right to give it to her to take care of this resort. This place needs skillful hands," replied the owner.
