The mayor shifted in his seat and said, "Yang Xinyu, it is better that you stay away from her. Why do you want to meet her?"

Yang Xinyu lowered the fork with noddles circled around it and said, "I had been thinking about it from a long time. Although she had brewed a lot of trouble for us, I feel I should meet her once. It has been so many months since I have seen her…"

The mayor could understand why he was so attached to Wu Lina. They both loved each other crazily and that is what the mayor appreciated. The future chairman of the Yang Corporation needed a lot of stability in his personal life in order to scale new heights.

"Okay father," said Yang Xinyu and they had lunch in silence.

When they had finished, the mayor asked, "How is Wu Lina keeping nowadays? I think the filming is about to finish by the next month."

"She is fine. The film is taking a lot of time and energy. I would like if she rests but she is always very energetic. Sometimes I get afraid that she is pushing herself too hard…" said Yang Xinyu with sadness across his face. He wanted his wife to take a long break and take care of herself. The fact that she hadn't been able to do so, he had employed a battalion of servants, security guards, a dietician, a secretary and Zhao Hai xiang to be around her.

The mayor felt guilty all of a sudden for making Wu Lina work. He wasn't expecting that Wu Lina would want to start her own movie. He never ever, in his dreams, excepted that Yang Fangxu would harm Wu Lina. Ever since that incident, Yang Min-Chang had cut his ties with Yang Fangxu and her mother. He had withdrawn all the financial support he was giving them.

"Yang Xinyu, you should ask Wu Lina to take rest. Since the movie is about to finish, I am sure her people at the office can easily take care of it," suggested the mayor.

"I have done that many times father…" replied Yang Xiyu shaking his head.

Yang Xinyu left the mayor's office and went back to his office.

In the hospital, Mrs. Yang received her visitor graciously. He had started liking her to the extent that he had started romanticizing her. She was as intelligent as he could ever imagine. Ying Yue was a dullard.

When his plans failed and Ying Yue returned empty handed from her task, he had to punish her. She was trying to flee the country. She had entered the airport but his people caught her over there and just in time before she had boarded the plane. They brought her to him. Out of rage, he had picked his cane and hit her with it so harshly that she had fainted. He continued hitting her until one of his men stopped him and took Ying Yue to the hospital. If he had succeeded in murdering her, there would have been a different issue.

The fact that Ying Yue was also a part of the blackmail, she couldn't even press charges against him. She just waited in the hospital to heal mentally as well as physically.

"Mrs. Yang, it is so good to see you," said Mr. Wan with a lovely smile.

"I am very fine Mr. Wan. It is such a pleasure to meet someone over here," she said returning his smile.

"You know that I like to meet a woman like you. I had to bribe so many people here just to talk to you. If the director of the hospital come to know about this, he will throw me out and soon Yang Xinyu and his father would also know," he said with a snicker.

Mrs. Yang's facial expressions hardened. Hearing about those two men, gave her a shudder down her spine. She wanted them biting the dust ever since they had connived to oust her from the board members and also taken all her shares declaring her mentally unfit. She hated Wu Lina, but that girl had something in her that even turned her son and her husband against her. What she was dreading became true. Her power, her position, everything was lost within a day. And she wanted it back.

Nobody was allowed to visit her because of the mayor's strict instructions. However, Mr. Wan broke that security and visited her regularly.

When Mr. Wan told about his plan to her, she could see a flicker of hope.
