Shen looked at the experience bar, he needed more than nine million experiences to reach level 16. He thought that after he found out a way to get himself stronger to hunt, the future would be easier for him since he got a Legendary Class. But it was not as easy as he pictured it to be.
Of course, he was halfway to level 16 but what about level 17? The experience would double and he needed eighteen million to reach level 17. The future was not as bright as he thought. He must focus his time on the game for farming the exp or else he would be left behind by the others. A Legendary Class without the level was still weaker than the high-level player with a normal class.
He then looked at his inventory; there were fifty stacks of Guardian Fish's bodies with each stack of ten Guardian Fish, meaning he had killed over five hundred Guardian Fish. If he had to include the fish he had dismantled to get the snout because the durability of his sword had reached three percent, it would be over five hundred and fifty Guardian Fish.
A low-tier weapon lost the durability too fast to face level 32 Guardian Fish. So they were forced to dismantle the fish by themselves to use it as a weapon. In the end, the solution was to get a better weapon. He still had the Gifted Spear, the reward from reporting the bug. However, he did not use it since he had to aim at the fish's head that was stuck on the tree. The spear was kinda hard as it was too inconvenient to use in this condition.

Shen let out a sigh as he allocated 20 Status Points. He still used the same formula, 3 2 2 2 1 formula, with that:
Agility: 6
Strength: 4
Endurance: 4
Vitality: 4
Dexterity: 2
After allocating his status point, he looked toward his friend, "What about you, Ming? How many levels do you get?"
His friend turned toward him, he was grinning at him, "I have reached level 14, Shen. I told you, it's not impossible to catch up with the top ranker. What about yours?" It was understandable why Ming was so happy. Normally, players could only level up for a level each day and as they got higher, it became a level for two days. It was that hard to level up in Tribe Online.
"Me? I am level 16," Shen told the truth and Ming was surprised to hear that, "What? You are joking, right Shen? You killed more fish than me!" Ming could not believe that. He had lower stamina and lower damage. He used more stamina than Shen as it took him longer to kill one fish. Shen at least doubled the kill.
Ming checked his inventory, and there were twenty stacks of fish there. Meaning he had killed over two hundred Guardian Fish including the fish he had dismantled. He estimated Shen at least killed four hundred fish yet Shen only leveled up twice while he got ten levels. Ming checked his status window. For him to reach level 15, he needed 3.6 million exp.
He recalled that Shen once said to him that the Legendary Class needed four times of exp to level up. That meant his friend needed around 4 to 5 million exp to reach level 15. While Epic or Legendary Class was good, it was hard to grow it up as well. Once Shen reached level 20, it would be even harder for them to level with the high-level monsters around. Ming now understood why his friend was pessimistic to enter the leaderboard. It was indeed hard for them to reach the leaderboard. The drawback of having one of the best classes in the game.

"I am not joking," Shen shook his head, "We have run out of the supply, let's head back to the village," The sun was halfway to go down as night was about to arrive. No one had tried to hunt at night so Shen would continue the training at night. Hunting by day and training by night, the new schedule for him.
When they returned to the village, everyone was gathered at the dining table. The table was Brother Jiang's craft. He made them the table and the chairs for everyone to chat when they took a break from training or eating to recover the hunger.
"You guys back, how's the hunt?" Dale was the first one to ask upon noticing his two friends returned.
"That's good, but we have an emergency, guys. Especially for the production class," Ming sat next to ZhenZhen while Shen sat next to Dale. Ming then told them about the experience thingy. The production class was the one who had it hard since they only got the experience from crafting instead of hunting, "So that's why I propose we make a party and hunt together, especially for ZhenZhen and Brother Jiang,"
"I don't think that necessary…" ZhenZhen checked the window status, "I am about to reach level 11, no, I will reach level 11 after I cooked for your supplies tomorrow. Cooking and experimenting give me a lot of exp, so there's no need to bring us with you guys. What about you, Brother Jiang?"
"I am level 6 by now but ZhenZhen is right, we got a lot of exp. I will be starting to catch up if I manage to forge a piece of equipment later, so you guys don't need to worry about us," WealthyGuy nodded in response.
"Yeah, there's no need to worry about them. More importantly, Tribe Online lowered the exp for the production class by ten times to level up if I am not wrong. Hunting the monster is not effective for them as they got ten times less experience than the combat class," Yue interjected to clear the worry for the production class.
Ming breathed in relief when he heard that from Yue, "It was just a false alarm then because I need 3.6 million exp to reach level 15 and Shen and the other Legendary Classes need more than that," when he said that, everyone was looking at Shen. They were curious when Ming said that.
"I am level 16 now and I need 9.6 million to reach level 17," When he said the number, everyone was shocked. Especially Yue, her obsidian-like eyes widened in surprise. She was the only player that almost reached the level 30 threshold before she reset the character. She was well aware of the difference exp between the normal class and the Legendary Class when Shen said that.
"Alright, guys. See you later, I am going to have dinner," Shen stood up and bid farewell to the others.
"Wait, let's have dinner together," Dale called out. "I am going to have dinner with Eunha, so you should ask her permission if you to join the dinner," Shen responded with a shrug,
"Eunha is a good girl, she must want to have dinner with this handsome brother," Dale headed toward his house while Shen headed toward his house. The two friends logged out together.

War Beast
The future is savage. Jenny Summer is a news reporter who hates her job. One day, an accident sends her through a time portal, straight into the distant future. A future of warring Beastmen tribes, deadly monsters, and magic from beyond the imagination. When the savage world is full of many threats, how will the average modern-day girl survive? Author's Note: This is a rewrite of my fiction with the original title. Instead of changing my chapters in my other draft, I made a copy with a different beginning and a few new chapters. The beginning will move straight to the fantasy world like most Isekai light novels. As usual, each chapter will go between 500 and 2,000 words. I deleted the other draft since this draft will be my focus. Enjoy and let me know what you think of this new draft. There may also be grammar and spelling errors too. This series is still in development.
