Noob Player Chapter 86

"Vales? So this forest is called Vales?" For the first time, Shen finally got to know this place's name.
"You really don't know?" The Blizzard Tiger asked again for the second time. There was something weird with the human in front of her.
Shen shook his head, "I don't know until you told me just now,"
"Then where do you come from?" The Blizzard Tiger questioned Shen. She still did not believe Shen. Things become even more suspicious for the mother tiger.
"I…" Shen looked at the minimap, trying to locate his village, "I come from the village in the south,"
"Village in the south…" There was a pause for a moment before the Mother Tiger continued, "Do you mean the Legendary Village?"
"The Legendary Village? Is that what you guys call the village?" Shen muttered in a low voice, "Yes, I come from the Legendary Village, and I am Yosu's disciple. Do you know him, My Master, Yosu?"
He thought the mother tiger knew more about the village and the people living in the village. He mentioned his Master's name.
"I don't know him but I do know about that village. That village is quite famous in the Vales and no one dares to come there because the beasts that came near the village will be hunted down though we don't hear much about the Legendary Village lately," The Blizzard Tiger lowered her gaze to Shen, "So you are part of that village?"
"I guess I am," Shen nodded his head. He was not sure what the Legendary Village was known for but since he lived in the village and became Yosu's successor, he was now part of the village.
"But that still does not explain why you don't know about Vales," The Blizzard Tiger did not put down his suspicions.
"I know this sounds ridiculous but I don't know about the village being a Legendary Village and this forest called Vales. I know nothing about it as this is what happened to me…" Shen explained to Blizzard Tiger that he fell into a gorge and ended up in the village when he woke up.

"So are you saying that you fell into a very deep gorge, and your master saved you and brought you to the village?" the mother tiger squinted her eyes, "Eternal Wind City? Is that where you come from?"
"Yes," Shen nodded his head.
"I never heard of this city before…" The Blizzard Tiger muttered in a low voice.
"Let's continue the talk later. We better do something about your wound. How about this, I will help you to heal your wound. You just need to tell me what I need to do. In exchange, can you explain more about Vales?" Shen offered something else to the Mother Tiger, an offer that benefited both sides.
"That's it? You just want that?" The mother tiger did not accept the offer immediately.
"Yeah, that's it. There's nothing more important than a friendship with a strong beast like you," Shen smiled sincerely as he replied the Mother Tiger, "As you know, the forest is very dangerous for me, having a friend like you will help me survive in this dangerous place,"
"I see…" The Blizzard Tiger still had some suspicions but she had accepted Tang Shaoyang's words, "I will accept your goodwill and even your friendship if you have no ill intentions toward me and my children,"
"Then what do I need to do now? Do you need anything? Do you need herbs to stop the bleeding? The wound does not show it will stop bleeding anytime soon," Shen expressed his concern.
"That's fine, I can still survive for a week with my condition. First of all, I need food. The three fish my children brought to me is not enough as I have not eaten for three days. Can you bring me more food, Friend?" The Blizzard Tiger voiced her request, "I need to regain some energy,"
Shen furrowed his brows and looked at his inventory. The King of Guardian Fish might be enough for the mother tiger but he was thinking about ZhenZhen. The cook might want this exotic ingredient for her to experiment, 'I will just defeat another King of Guardian Fish later. It's quite easy to kill as I only need to kite it away from the river,'

With those thoughts in mind, Shen took out the King of Guardian Fish's body. While it was smaller than the Blizzard Tiger, it should be enough for her, "This should be enough for you, right?"
"What is this? Where do the fish come from?" The Blizzard Tiger asked curiously at the sight of the massive fish. It just came out of nowhere.
"We humans have the thing called inventory, and we can store items there. It's something like a separate space so it does not burden us with the weight," Shen explained to the Blizzard Tiger.
"How convenient to be a human. I kinda envy that inventory thing," The Mother Tiger muttered in a low voice, and she sounded envious. She then looked at the fish then looked at Shen, "You are quite something, huh? I don't think you can hunt the King of Guardian Fish. You look weak to me,"
"Not something I can be proud of," Shen shook his head and told her what happened between him and the King of Guardian Fish, "Basically, I only have more Stamina than the King of Guardian Fish, not a feat I can be proud of,"
"I see," The Blizzard Tiger nodded her head as she pulled the massive fish with her paw, "I can picture how you met with my children now. My children are attracted to the blood of this fish, and you met with my children there,"
"That's right, that's what happened. I can't give your children the King of Guardian Fish's body because my cook in the village will be upset so I give them the three smaller fish instead," Shen nodded his head but then he noticed the Blizzard Mother stopped midway as she was about to take the first bite.
"That's fine, you can eat it. I will hunt another one later, so you can have this one," he was aware that she stopped because of him saying that the cook would be upset.
"I can help you with that. I will hunt three King of Guardian Fish for you when I recover," The Blizzard Tiger added. She did not like to owe something to others hence she said.
"That's fine, you don't need to," Shen shook his head, "I am more curious about what happened to you though. You are strong but who managed to injure you to this extent?"
Without a doubt, the Blizzard Tiger was strong as she managed to stun him with just her gaze. He was curious as to what kind of creature managed to injure the Blizzard Tiger. But then he noticed a change of look on her face, "If you are uncomfortable with that, you don't have to tell me," He immediately added.
"That's okay. I don't mind telling you who turned me like this. I was just still upset to him," The Mother Tiger shook her head while chewing the fish meat, "It was my children's father who did this to me,"

Disclaimer: I'm not continuing this story. Check out Azarinth Healer, it's a more current story where I worked on a lot of things I found wrong with this one. Main character is somewhat similar as well so if you like Eleonora, you'll probably like Ilea. I still invested a ton of time writing this so check it out if you feel like it. There's gonna be 20 Chapters 39k words total. Hey everyone. This is a story I've started writing like a year ago and thought why not post it now. This story is about fighting and magic in a pretty standard fantasy world. The story follows Eleonora through her daily life in Duneswatch and on her way to become an adventurer. No secrets here, it's pretty generic. Should be decently paced so just give it a shot if you want to. I'm not gonna sell it to you in this quick summary. The range of writing on RR is so wide we both know you just have to give it a chapter...or a paragraph depending on how unique the grammar is. Please do criticize harshly. I'm definitely no writer but everybody can improve with pointers in the right direction. Don't expect regular updates.

The Realm
In this world the good guy doesn't beat the villain, in fact there isn't even good or bad. In this world there are only two beings, the all-encompassing darkness and a spark of flame that keeps to itself. ________________________________________ Hello there! Now some warnings; I am new to this, I don't have much experience so I'm trying to get some by writing this. So I don't stress myself out this will be a relatively short story but I don't know. Also this is sort of the beginning of my world, if this works out and I decide to write more I would love to keep it in this world. My grammar isn't perfect, if anything it's one of the things i struggle with. I don't have a release schedule, but I usualllt release as soon as i'm done with a chapter. Also I would really appreciate it if you can point out my mistakes, I can't learn if i don't know what i'm doing wrong.

Delicate as Glass
[participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] Nuri, an [Assistant Glassworker], only has a single Skill. It’s really not fair. He’s worked in the hot shop his entire life, following in his father’s footsteps after his parents passed away, but he’s stuck. Despite possessing above-average talent as an artisan, he still hasn’t shed his [Assistant] status, gained a second Skill, or even leveled enough to reach the first Threshold. Besides, he’s bored; most days he daydreams of adventure and becoming a hero, or pines for the renown that’s sure to be his if he evolves his Class into a [Master Glass Smith], but nothing ever changes—until suddenly, fate strikes, and nothing is ever the same again. These days, Nuri sees more magic, prestige, and adventure than he can handle as he gets swept up in realm-shaking conspiracies and desperate fights for his life. Maybe a boring life wasn’t so bad after all. Disclaimers: 1) Names were mostly chosen through random generators and aren’t necessarily final. If they seem derivative or boring, blame RNG. 2) Skills, Classes, levels, and the entire system is currently a work in progress; please be kind if it’s not very well fleshed out yet. 3) This is the first full-length novel I've set out to write without a single plot point ready. I had nothing in mind other than a recent visit to a hot shop. Molten glass is pretty awesome. 4) Related, I know much less about glass than I’d like. I did some research, but mistakes are bound to happen. If you have a correction, thanks! Please be polite about it. 5) The prose is my experimental attempt at first-person, present tense. I realize it may not be everyone’s preference, but I hope you’ll give it a try anyway!

Lord of cauldrons
A man reincarnated to a world where cultivation ruled supreme. One were even practices like human cauldrons and dual cultivation was commonplace and a part of the culture. What was not commonplace was treating these cauldrons with any ounce of respect or affection. These cauldrons were like pills or potions to be used and consumed or thrown away. They were often just a stepping stone in one's immortal path. One man thought, "What if they were my immortal path." --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- My chinese knowledge is limited to wuxia/xianxia books and cultivator games and I will only follow it loosely, I have my own cultivation system which will be basis for this story The reason I am writing this is because I have yet to find a dual cultivation story that has something I really wanted to read. Using the 'cauldrons' like Pokémon and the 'cauldrons' being the main source of power. I will update this at a minimum of once per week.
