Noob Player Chapter 108

Shen gave the loot to ZhenZhen and Brother Jiang. He let them do experiments with those new materials and ingredients. After WealthyGuy packed up the Wrath Club, he came to Shen. "Are you okay giving me those Wrath Clubs, Shen? Do you want me to pay for that?"
Brother Jiang felt bad, as he was always the one who received things from Shen, and he never gave him something valuable. "It's okay, you don't have to pay me anything, Brother Jiang. If you want to pay me, I hope you can make an excellent sword for me. My current weapon sucks. I can't use them to hunt high-level monsters as the durability decreases so fast." Shen smiled and shook his head.
He never expected ZhenZhen and Brother Jiang to pay him for what he gave them. There would be only ten players maximum in this Vales until they found a way to reach the cities and other establishments. So he felt they had to work together with no money involved. When money was involved, things could really go bad between them when one side was not satisfied.
WealthyGuy nodded his head. "I will work harder so I can be useful for our settlement." Just like he said, Brother Jiang felt useless amongst the members of the village. He contributed nothing while the others were working hard. ZhenZhen made food for them. Shen and Ming were hunting the monsters for the ingredients. Yue, Sneaky Banana, and ZhongL were new members. It was just a matter of time before they contributed to the village.
"Just work at your pace, Brother Jiang. We have the Wrath Club for now." Shen felt weird when he gave encouragement to Brother Jiang. The latter was older than him, almost a whole ten years older. "You have contributed a lot as well. You can repair our weapon as well."
Brother Jiang shook his head. "Even though a blacksmith can repair the equipment, that's not my primary job. I have to create something for you guys. Something that is good enough to hunt those high-level monsters."
Shen could say nothing about it. If he tried to comfort the older guy, he felt it was too fake. He just smiled in return as he took the sword and the spear from Brother Jiang's hand.
After that, ZhenZhen and Brother Jiang returned to their respective house, leaving Shen alone at the table. Shen put the weapon into his inventory and rubbed his chin. "I need a new hunting ground. I should leave the Guardian Fish for Dale and Yue so they could reach level 30."

"Let's organize my stats first." He had not allocated 10 stat points from the previous level up. He opened the window status.
————————
Name: Runner
Race: Human
Class: Yosu Legatee
Affiliation: -
Elemental Force: Frost [Elementary Stage]
Level: 22
Experience: 56,548,800/95,681,250
Health Point: 460
Stamina Point: 3200/3200
Mana: 100
Hunger: 100
Armor: 2
Status:
Strength: 221
Agility: 290
Vitality: 46
Endurance: 320
Dexterity: 289
Intelligence: 10
Status Point: 10
Skill:
Void Sword Technique: [Void Draw - Level 1], [Void Step - Level 1], [Void Critical - Level 1 (Passive)], [Void Thrust - Level 1]
Elemental Force Skill: [Frost Assault (Passive)] [Ice Bolt - Level 1] [Frozen Spear - Level 1]
————————
Shen skimmed over his stats. He now had an additional stat to think about. He could not use the same allocation 3 2 2 2 1 this time. Careful consideration was needed since he had six stats now. He felt 10 Stat Points per level were too little now.
"Should I reduce my Agility allocation to 2, and put no stat point on Dexterity?" Shen considered this. He got +2 Dexterity and +1 Agility each time he leveled up. By doing so, he had 2 stat points spare for Intelligence. However, he felt that Dexterity and Agility were too important for his class to be sacrificed.
From the information he found on the forum. Agility was not just for his movement, but it would increase crit damage as well. The same for Dexterity, it did not just increase his attack speed, but it increased the critical chance as well. Those two stats were very important since had a passive skill critical, [Void Critical].
"Should I sacrifice the stat point for the Vitality? As long as I run fast enough, I can't be hit. If I can't be hit, then a high HP is useless." Shen rubbed his chin. "But I have to make sure that I have enough HP so the monster or other players one-hit me."
From the option of all he had, Shen was inclined to sacrifice the stat point of Agility and Dexterity. He thought about it longer, and then he decided to allocate his ten stat points. He followed his thoughts and allocated zero stat points to Dexterity.
Strength: +2
Agility: +2
Vitality: +2
Endurance: +2
Intelligence: +2
Dexterity: 0
After allocating his stat point, Shen checked his skills. He tested the new skill, but he had not gone through what the skills did. Now it was time to check it, so he knew the timing when he should use the skill, and when he should not use the skill.

[Frost Assault (Passive): Imbuing your basic attack with Frost Aura! The Frost Aura gets stronger when your Elemental Force is in a high stage!
Effect: Stiffen the enemy's movement by 15% (1% slow for one attack that lands on your enemy)
Cooldown: No Cooldown]
Shen noticed that his Elemental Force was still in the Elementary Stage. His Elemental Force would get stronger if he could grow the Elemental Force to a higher level. "That's a lot of work. I have to do it on my own since I am the only one with Elemental Force."
[Ice Bolt: Shooting an Ice Bolt to the targeted enemy.
Damage: 300 Magic Damage
Additional Effect: Stiffen the enemy by 10%
Cost: 70 Mana
Cooldown: 30 Seconds]
Shen furrowed his brows at the skill. This skill might be good for PVP, but it was not effective for hunting. Especially when he only had 100 Mana. 300 Damage was nothing to a high-level monster. "But the Stiffen status is good. No, it is still not effective since I have [Frost Assault] with the same effect."
[Frozen Spear: Forming a spear made of ice and shooting it at the targeted enemy!
Damage: 200 Magic Damage
Additional Effect: Freezing the enemy for three seconds and stiffening the enemy by 10% afterward.
Cost: 90 Mana
Cooldown: 45 Seconds]
Frozen Spear was more op than Ice Bolt, even though the skill dealt less damage than the latter. The stun and stiffen status afterward was the best status effect, especially for PVP.
After reading all the skills, now he thought he could reach the Pro Championship's Play-off. The Frost Assault and Void Step were the best combos as well. "I need to reach level 30 and learn more skills as well. I should learn [Void Echo]."
[Void Echo] was launching multiple attacks continuously. Combining the skill with the Frost Assault, he could reach the maximum stack in a short time and defeat his enemy. The more he thought about it, the more confident he became.
"It's still three weeks until the open qualifiers. I will think about it, but the Rookie Championship is in my grasp since the pro players have surpassed level 30." Shen was in a dilemma.
"Do you plan to take part in the tournament, Shen?" As he was in a daze, he heard a melodious voice enter his ears. He looked at the voice. Yue was walking toward him from the entrance.
"You have finished your running?" Shen was surprised. It was too quick.
Yue nodded her head and sat across from Shen. "If you want to take part in the tournament, I can help you. I can be your sparring partner if you want to take part in the Pro Championship. I have fought many pro players, and I know a bit of their fighting style. I can assist you in that part."
Shen was about to agree with the proposal. It was too good to be refused, but then he realized he could not be that selfish. If she helped with the sparring, what about her? He would hinder him, especially with her leveling pace. Yue was still level 1 after the reset. She needed to catch up, and her class was a Legendary Class as well.
"What about you? If you help me with the sparring, I will hold you back with your leveling pace. There's no benefit for you if you help me." Shen could not agree with this proposal. He could not be selfish just because she pitied him as he lost his left arm.
Yue smiled and shook her head. "We will not start sparring now, of course. We have three weeks until the qualifier. Within these two weeks, I will hunt the monster to raise my level. We will start sparring in the last week before the open qualifier. Also, don't think that I don't have a benefit from helping you. There's a big benefit for me, it is to familiarize myself with the magic. That way I can adapt if I have to face a player with magic in the future."
Just like he thought, this proposal was too tempting to be refused. Yue was one of the top players. She knew a lot of gamecombos mechanics. He could learn a lot from her, on top of that, she was a beauty. It was not bad spending time with beauty even though she was an unreachable beauty. He would be satisfied with just this.
"Alright then, we will start our sparring training program a week before the open qualifier. I need to level up my character to level 30 as well." Shen agreed with the proposal.

Law of Divine Gates
What is transcendence? There are those on countless planets who believe creation ended with them. The notion that they are God's chosen people, and nothing else existed beyond them became a firmly rooted ideal. An arrogant assertion you say? Well there you have it, ignorance is something mortals never have a lack of. This is not transcendence, to transcend is to explore the limits of existence, to constantly grow, and lay claim to all the universe has to offer. Transcendence is to not be constrained by ideals, or the planet of your birth, to transcend is to leave behind your Mortal shell, to challenge heaven's law, and formulate your own. Heaven would see mortals bowed in servitude until the end of their days, to reincarnate, and begin another lifetime of worship, giving praise to the gods. A young demon accidentally stepped through the gateway of endless possibilities, will he succumb to heaven's authority?
