My Four Other Selves Chapter 60

Zhang Yong sighed and closed the tap before walking out of the room.
"I can't even find water here. Useless."
After that, he went to the other two rooms before going to the right side.
He was just about to go there when suddenly he felt like someone was there behind him. For a minute he just stopped there in his steps and started to feel anxious.
His heartbeat started to fasten up as he slowly turned around. 'Who the hell is there?'
He thought and slowly turned around, hoping that it was Senior Zhang Yong. He turned around with his eyes down but as soon as he picked up his eyes there was no one there.
He frowned a little and started to walk back there. His palms were now sweating along with his forehead. He gulped the lump in his throat as he took two more steps.
He was now standing just in front of the first room moving here and there to see who was there but he saw no one and again a frown appeared on her face.
He was getting more and more scared now.
He was again about to take some steps and walk forward when all of a sudden he saw a figure coming out of the room where he was standing.
His eyes widened but before he could say anything his hand went over to Zhang Yong's mouth and held him tightly there.
Zhang Yong struggled a little to get out of his grip but nothing like that happened and he was now tightly in his hold.
He was holding his mouth from one hand and his other hand was holding him close to himself from the back.
Soon he pulled Zhang Yong back and dragged him inside the room.
Zhang Yong tried to throw some punches but all of them were just useless as they hit no one but the air.
As soon as they were inside, the man let go of Zhang Yong and moved back.
He pushed him a little forward. Zhang Yong finally turned around and looked at the person carefully.
Terror washed over him, raising the fine hairs on the back of his neck. Heart pounding in his ears, he tried to scream when he realized what was standing there in front of him.

The person in front of him didn't look like a man. That person had a body like that of any normal human being but his size was bigger than any human's body.
The only thing which was weird about that thing was his head only had bones, there was only a skull. His lower body was covered with a ripped black cloth.
Seeing that thing in front of Zhang Yong he just couldn't help but get more scared. He wanted to run for safety, but his feet would not allow him to do so. He opened his mouth but no scream came.
He stepped back, balancing his weight on his left foot, and made his right fist out in a punch at his temple. Not knowing what to do but one thing he was sure of he would soon have to fight with that man running away was not an option.
Zhang Yong took his time analyzing that thing in front of him then soon he saw a big sword appearing in that person's hands. That sword was also bigger than any of the normal swords.
Zhang Yong narrowed his eyes at that and saw that the man soon held it with both hands. Just as the sword came into view of Zhang Yong, his eyes widened more. The person was holding no regular sword, instead, it was a soul band.
Zhang Yong could only remember it because he used to watch anime. He watched all these weapons and demons in those anime but this person in front of him, he just couldn't remember who he was.
All of that happened so fastly that Zhang Yong wasn't able to figure out what he would be doing next. The sudden shock made him tense his muscles.
He was in trouble and he knew it now. Soon he saw him pointing that sword in his hands at Zhang Yong and his eyes widened more now.
Suddenly Zhang Yong's brain also started to work and he pulled out his sword and also pointed it towards him, ready to fight with him. He was now ready to fight with him not knowing the strength of his opponent. He didn't even know how he was going to win over that huge person but still, he was ready.

The next moment the frontman rushed towards Zhang Yong swiftly. Zhang Yong didn't even blink twice when he was already there standing in front of him.
He dipped and twisted towards the right as he was about to reach him and slashed downwards with the sword. Zhang Yong's eyes widened seeing that sword coming towards him, he didn't even know how to react or what to do next but the next moment like his hands started to work on his own.
He held the sword in his hands tightly and brought it in front of him in such a way that his sword would hit his sword but not him. The same thing happened just like how Zhang Yong had imagined the blade clashed against the metal of Zhang Yong's sword because of which Zhang Yong's arms were pushed backward with a shriek that sent sparks flying into the air. The frontman was also quick and uppercut slashed at Zhang Yong, attempting to cut Zhang Yong from stem to the stern.
Zhang Yong sidestepped to the right just enough and the blade passed a hair's breadth from his face.
Quickly, before the man could respond with a follow-up, Zhang Yong swiftly punched him right in the stomach, knocking the wind out of him, and stunning him for a brief moment. Zhang Yong still didn't know how to use that sword efficiently but he was getting good at fighting with his hands so he tried that.
He grabbed his wrist with his left hand and held his sword hand against his chest and he hit him twice more with his right, square in the bones of his nose. He sagged and he shoved him away from himself.
That frontman didn't even recover from his punch when all of a sudden Zhang Yong picked up his sword and moved towards him.
"Ahhhhhh." Zhang Yong yelled as he approached the man gaining his attention.
That man hurriedly held his sword tightly and this time it was him who kept it in front of him, blocking Zhang Yong's attack towards himself. The sound of the sword clashing could be heard all around the room.
Both of them were looking at each other. Zhang Yong felt like he was just fighting with a lifeless body as he could not see his eyes. There were only two holes instead of his eyes and Zhang Yong couldn't even guess how that person in front was still working normally.
Both of them were just in that position when suddenly the door of the room made a creaking sound and soon got opened. Zhang Yong heard Senior Zhang Yong's voice and hurriedly moved his head to look at him.
Senior Zhang Yong opened the door while saying, "Zhang are you there? I heard some...…."
His words died down in his throat when he saw Zhang Yong standing there hovering over that man. Both of their swords were still in contact as both of them were now looking towards Senior Zhang Yong.
Senior Zhang Yong frowned and wasn't believing the scene in front of him.
"Ahhhh." Senior Zhang Yong let this voice come out of his mouth before again closing that door hurriedly.
"What did I just see? Was that an illusion?" Senior Zhang Ying asked himself with confusion with his hands still on the knob of the door.
'What is that idiot doing? Instead of helping me, he just went away like this.' Zhang Yong said in his mind and rolled his eyes at Senior Zhang Yong's act.
Just then he realized he was still in the same position with that man and hurriedly pulled him away from himself with all his might. That man stumbled a little before finally moving a little back.
Zhang Yong also jumped back and moved away from him. Just when he was standing in front of that man again the door opened again revealing a confused Senior Zhang Yong.
This time when he opened the door the man and Zhang Yong weren't in the same positions but different positions.
Without thinking about any thing else he again closed the door but this time opened it again almost instantly. He was shocked to see Zhang Yong and that man standing there in the same position and now finally realized that this all was happening in reality.
"Will you stop acting like that? Come and help me...…..

Path of Divinity
The world has been assimilated by the Celestial Archives, a vast system designed to fight the forces that seek to destroy the universe. For most, it's a holy cause that rewards victory with stats, levels, and skills. For Hunter Gold, it's the start of a nightmare. Even in a system dominated by paths, he finds himself taking the road less traveled. This is a work in progress. Major editing will be done after the book is complete, so there will be egregious typos and parts that make no sense whatsoever. Please feel free to point any and all of these things out. Chapters WILL get edited, and that editing might break earlier chapters. I will attempt to keep readers apprised of all changes. As always, feedback is welcome and appreciated. This is kind of something fun I wanted to write after reading stories like The New World, System Apocalypse, and the Legend of Randidly Ghosthound. I don't know how serious I will be about this story, but I just want to try it out. I imagine that it will become a love child between Fable, Diablo, and Devil May Cry. Enjoy!
