Jiraiya was sad and conflicted. He had no idea how to deal with the boy. He had tried to discuss it with the Hokage but he had seemingly forsaken all the responsibility and had shrugged it on to him.

Jiraiya also felt a bit responsible, since he neglected his godson. He wanted to help Naruto but he was not the father type, he was just a friendly neighbourhood pervert grandpa. ​​

He read the book that Naruto was reading a day back, "If Naruto had some brain, he would know he is the Jinchuriki, and when this happens, he will ask questions. I should tell him the answers or it might lead him to the path of destruction."

~And what if, he is the Child of the Prophecy?~ Jiraiya thought.

But, when he decided to tell Naruto about his family, Naruto didn't come to train. He waited the whole day but the boy didn't come. Stopping writing his book, he decided to go and check what he was doing.

As he went to his house, he started to get a very ominous feeling. So he quickened in his footsteps. He soon arrived at the door of the small apartment.

He knocked on it, but nobody opened it. The door was locked, so reckon Naruto was either inside or outside. He waited a bit but nobody opened the door.

Before leaving, he went to the window to secretly look inside. To his disgust, the house was dirty, clothes and garbage were everywhere. But, then he noticed Naruto soundly sleeping on his bed.

Thinking maybe he was just too tired or something he decided to leave. However, just as he was leaving, from the corner of his eyes he noticed a marking on Naruto's stomach, it was shining in the light.

~THIS! ISN'T THIS THE SEAL OF JUNCHURIKI?~ Jiriya deduced. He knew the situation was grave so he broke the glass and entered.

He held Naruto and tried to wake him up but the body seemed lifeless like a doll.

"REVENGE!"

Naruto's growling voice resounded in the apartment. Jiraiya's hair stood up in fright. He was not afraid of fighting the tailed beasts, but afraid that if it came out inside the village it would cause great destruction.

Soon, he saw a reddish aura covering Naruto's body. His resolve became strong, ~I must take him away from the village.~

So he picked the body of Naruto and dragged him away outside the boundary of the village.

"REVENGE!"

"REVENGE!"

Naruto slowly inched towards the giant gate. The demon fox on the other side was desperately waiting for him.

~Finally, I will come back, Shiro.~ Kurama thought in his head.

Kurama had been waiting to get back to Shiroken. After hearing about what's going on around the world by Jiraiya, he had the confidence that Shiroken must be back. But, he didn't want to wait for him to come for him.

He desperately hoped when Naruto would talk to him, so he could get out of here, and also maybe destroy the village while he's at it. But he cursed the damn Minato for talking half of him.

"Come, boy. I will give you the power you desire." Kurama lured him.

Naruto, unsuspecting and in a semi-awake state, held the bar of the gate. He looked inside one last time, then he jumped him.

"HAHAHA..." Kurama, in a maddening laugh, pounced on him with all his might. All his pent up anger exploded in a matter of a second.

"FINALLY!"

Naruto had his eyes half-open, looking at the oncoming demon fox. He raised his arm slowly to touch the fox. But then all of a sudden, a small drop of tear rolled down his blue eyes.

"W-what did my parents look like? D-did they love me? Who were they?" in a heartwrenching and breaking voice, he asked.

Kurama's body, which was at full speed ahead, ready to tear through Naruto's body, slowed down. He blinked his eyes multiple times as Naruto looked like someone else to him right at this moment. Someone he longed to see again.

~Kurama, do you think I have parents? I wonder what they look like. Why did they throw me away? Why do I look so different?~

These questions often sounded near him in the village, accompanied by sad sighs and watery gloomy red eyes of a decades-old child. How could he forget that sadness in the voice?

Kurama thought about Shiroken and felt pained. ~Perhaps, the fact that he now knows he was not born out of love, that he has no parents and his existence was an experiment is more painful and sad than never knowing who his parents were.~

How could Kurama not understand the sorrow of abandonment? His old man left him and his sibling when they were small, their beloved old man left them to fend for themselves. They looked for love, care and acceptance, only to receive hate and greed from humans. Eventually, they themselves became hateful and greedy like those humans.

"I hope you learn what true strength is." were the last words of their old man.

Kurama was not stupid. After living with Shiroken for decades now and as a whole big family, he knew what true strength is. It's unity, love, acceptance of a family. It is the trust you can put in one another, knowing they have your back.

"Tell me about my mother, did she love me?" Naruto asked depressedly.

Kurama was standing right in front of Naruto, his giant mouth was an inch away from him. If he wanted, he could shred the boy into pieces.

~This kid... didn't even have a Bijuu family to take care of him or play with him.~

DEMON, PEST, DIRT, DEVIL, BASTARD, MURDERER, TROUBLE MAKER, BAD SEED, BAD LUCK... Kurama had lost count of different names Naruto was called from his childhood. Bullied by the same people his mother and father saved and died for, the same people he was sacrificed for.

Ever since Naruto learned to walk and talk, he was thrown away to live the life of an orphan. To live in the dirty little room, surviving on charity given by the magnanimous Hokage and the elders. The so-called family friends and godfather never came to see him if he was alive or not.

Kurama always wondered that Naruto's parents were big people, Kushina was a renowned kunoichi and Minato owned two houses, went on hundreds of missions as a Jonin and was a Hokage, where is all their saved money? Why wasn't Naruto given that? Why was he made to eat plain simple cup noodles every day? Why did Naruto live in this little room instead of the big open house with fresh air?

Kurama knew a great deal about everything since he was also sealed inside Naruto's mother, so nothing was hidden from him, he knew about how rich they were. But seeing Naruto, the boy really sometimes used to look like a homeless hobo.

Kurama who already hated people, now hated them more. They even betrayed their saviour, what more could you expect from them? He felt his Dama village was really heaven on earth.

*BOOP*

Naruto suddenly walked forward and his hand rested on Kurama's nose. Making Kurama wonder, ~This kid, does he not know I can kill him at any moment? Let's wake him up.~

*Cough*

Kurama first cleared his throat before screaming loudly at the face. Leave a child, even the strongest of warriors would piss their pants with this experience. "RAAAAAAAAAAA! WAKE UP! BRAT!"

"WHA...?" Naruto jolted awake and fell back on his butt in shock. He looked forward, his eyes widened.

"AH! Where did the gate go?" Naruto exclaimed in panic, seeing the safety gate missing. However, he felt something touching his back, so he turned his head and saw the gate.

~WHEN DID I?~ He paled and started sweating.

He looked at the demon fox. "S-Sorry, I will come back again sometime... hehe... It was nice meeting you, Mr Fox."

Kurama amusedly looked at the boy's shenanigans. Naruto was never really a smart one, it was as if he inherited the stupidity of his mother and only the blonde hair of his father, not the mind.

"Venerable Fox, I will return later. I will bring Ichiraku ramen for you..." Naruto was in the midst of bribing the scary fox, who wasn't really trying to scare him, just looking at him, but even that was scary.

Naruto, inch by inch, reached the gap between the gates and decided to jump. ~ONE... TWO... TH...~

However, his resolve to jump out was all of a sudden destroyed, with just a few words from the fox.

"KUSHINA UZUMAKI AND MINATO NAMIKAGE, These are the names of your mother and father."
