Li Huiran's mouth dropped, "He Xinyan! You!"

She grabbed onto both of He Xinyan's shoulders and pushed her around. He Xinyan tried to push her away and ended up falling onto her bed.

She pointed one finger at Li Huiran, "Dad, look at what they are doing to me! You are with Auntie Li almost all the time, and you didn't even know her pregnancy was fake. I barely see her every day so how could I know?! They are probably just scared of being punished so they are blaming it on me!"

Bai Jiawei frowned slightly, "Yanyan, then why did Mr. Jin come on time?"

He Xinyan stood up from the bed, "Dad, I am your daughter. Why don't you believe me and believe those outsiders?!"

Li Huiran knit her eyebrows angrily from being called an outsider.

"Dad, I told you before! I asked Grandpa Jin to come over to help Auntie Li with her body and pregnancy! However, Grandpa Jin never had the time! Today, he called to say he had time to come over! I didn't know it would be so coincidental!"

Bai Jiawei nodded, "That's right. You did mention it before!"

"Then why didn't I know?!" Li Huiran screamed.

He Xinyan scoffed, "Li Huiran, I was being nice and considerate and wanted to ask Grandpa Jin to come and check your body. Who would have known that so many things would happen?!"

Li Yuyan took a step forward, "He Xinyan, you say it is a coincidence, but are there really so many coincidences in this world?! No!"

He Xinyan rolled her eyes, "If I had known about Li Huiran's fake pregnancy already, would I have to wait until now to tell dad?! I would have told him right away! Do you think I can see into the future already?! How would I know that you would wrongly accuse me today? If I could actually see into the future, I wouldn't have ever let you into this house!"

"I just don't believe that you aren't involved in what happened today!" Li Huiran screamed and turned to look at Bai Jiawei, "She knew all along!"

He Xinyan squeezed tears out of her eyes and stomped one foot onto the ground, "Fine! You guys either scheme against me or don't trust me! I don't want to be your punching bag anymore! I'm going to tell everyone about this and see what others say!"

She turned around to leave but Bai Jiawei quickly grabbed onto her.

"Xinyan! Okay, okay! I believe you. You are my daughter, how can I not believe you?! Yanyan. . ."

He Xinyan turned around and hugged Bai Jiawei, "Dad, you are my only family now. How can you not believe me? I would never lie to you!"

"Okay, okay. It is dad's fault, okay? I apologize to you. You cannot tell this to others." Bai Jiawei wiped away He Xinyan's tears.

He Xinyan nodded her head.

After comforting down his daughter, Bai Jiawei turned back to look at Li Huiran.

"You first stole my money and gave it to Su Zhiming, and now you dare lie to me about your pregnancy! How did I even let you into this house?! Get out! Get out! I don't want to see you in this house anymore! You have thirty minutes to pack and get lost!"

Li Huiran and Li Yuyan both gasped from shock, and Li Huiran kneeled down onto the floor, crawling over to Bai Jiawei.

"No! No! Please, don't do this! I'm wrong, Jiawei! I apologize! I won't even lie to you again!"

Li Yuyan also stepped forward, "Dad, don't do this! I'm sure my mom recognizes her mistake now!"

Bai Jiawei scoffed, "You! You knew about this too, right?! You were just lying to me with your stupid mom! You better not say another word, or I will kick you out of the house too!"

Li Huiran's eyes widened, "No! I will leave! I'll leave! Do not kick Yuyan out of the house! She is your daughter too!"

Bai Jiawei rolled his eyes, "You have thirty minutes! Get out!"

Li Huiran pushed herself up from the floor and wiped away her tears before reluctantly leaving He Xinyan's bedroom.

Although she didn't want to leave, she couldn't risk having Li Yuyan leave with her. Even if she was gone, at least Yuyan was still here. She might be able to help persuade Bai Jiawei to let her come back in the future.

Plus, there has to be someone to fight against He Xinyan. No matter what, she couldn't let all of the He family's property go to He Xinyan! It had to go to her and Yuyan!

Li Huiran wiped away her tears and entered the master bedroom to pack her stuff and leave for the time being.

Inside He Xinyan's bedroom, Bai Jiawei gently patted He Xinyan on the back.

"Okay, stop crying now. You should take some rest." Bai Jiawei walked out of He Xinyan's room and turned back to glare at Li Yuyan.

"You! Return to your room and think about what you did wrong! I am being generous to not kick you out of the house with your mom!"

Li Yuyan looked down and pressed her lips together before slowly walking out of He Xinyan's room. She glared at He Xinyan as she walked past.

Once everyone was gone, He Xinyan locked the door to her bedroom and wiped away her tears. She sat down on her bed and took a deep breath.

After such a loud and violent storm, the world was quiet now.

A sly and evil grin crept up He Xinyan's face, and she raised one eyebrow amusedly.

Half an hour later, Li Yuyan led Li Huiran out of the house, and they talked for several minutes outside before Li Huiran left.

He Xinyan didn't know what they were saying, but she was sure they were up to no good. However, at least there would be more peace in the next few days without Li Huiran.

Li Yuyan wasn't allowed to eat dinner tonight as she had to stay inside her room to remorse over her wrong actions.

At night, He Xinyan changed into her pajamas early and sat on her bed to wait for Gu Yechen.

It wasn't even time for bed when the balcony door opened and Gu Yechen stepped into the room in his black silk pajamas.

"Hi!" He Xinyan got out of the blanket and crawled to the other side of the bed on her knees.

Gu Yechen couldn't help but smile at the sight of her, "How did it go?"

He Xinyan's face lit up, "Great! Li Huiran is gone!"

He Xinyan laughed out loud in happiness as she clapped her hands together.

Gu Yechen patted her gently on the head, "That's good."

He got onto the bed and He Xinyan returned to her original position. They laid down on the bed and He Xinyan closed her eyes.

She was very tired.

"Do you want to go to my parent's house on Saturday?" Gu Yechen asked as he played around with He Xinyan's hair.

She nodded her head, "Sure!"

Gu Yechen looked down at her and slightly furrowed his eyebrows. Her breathing was slow and heavy, and it almost looked like she was asleep.

He removed his hand from her shoulder and gently pushed her head off of his chest.

He Xinyan opened her eyes from the movement, "What are you doing?"

Gu Yechen didn't respond as he walked across the room and turned off the light switch.

He Xinyan pushed herself up onto her elbow, "It's not even 10 yet."

"It's okay. Let's go to sleep."

He Xinyan was indeed getting tired and she nodded her head. Gu Yechen found his way back to the bed in the darkness and he laid down, pulling He Xinyan into his embrace.

"Good night."

"Good night."

On Saturday, He Xinyan got into Gu Yechen's car at about 11 A.M. to drive to Gu Yechen's parents' house. There was a driver so they sat together in the backseat.

They drove for quite a while and He Xinyan fell asleep on the way. When she woke up, the car was driving up a long road.

At once, she smelled the pleasant fragrance coming from outside the car.

She blinked her eyes a few times and gasped when she saw the trees outside.

"There are so many osmanthus trees!" She looked around and saw that both sides of the car were surrounded by beautiful osmanthus trees. Although it was autumn, there were still several golden buds on the trees.

"You like it?"

He Xinyan nodded her head excitedly, "Yes! The smell is very pleasant!"

Maybe it was because Li Huiran was gone, but He Xinyan was in a very good mood these days.

"Does it smell better than the roses I gave you?"

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow and tilted her head slightly to look at him, "You even get jealous at little things like this?"

"Answer me." Gu Yechen stared at her.

He Xinyan pressed her lips together and thought for a second, "What if I say yes?"

Gu Yechen's gaze turned cold and he said seriously, "I'll immediately have the workers chop all of these trees."

He Xinyan blinked a few times and realized that he was really the type of person to do that.

She gulped and cleared her throat before saying, "Actually, I think the roses you give me are much more fragrant! They represent your feelings towards me!"

As she spoke, she scooched and moved closer to him.

Gu Yechen's expression brightened a little after hearing her response, and he arrogantly lifted up his chin slightly.

A few minutes later, the car stopped in front of the house and they got out.

They walked down the long porch filled with colorful plants, and when they reached the door, He Xinyan saw that Xu Mengya was already standing at the door.
