She sat down and smiled, "Good morning, President Liu."

Liu Wei smiled when he saw Li Yuyan and eyed her from head to toe, "Good morning. You look gorgeous today! It's really nice of you to take the time and come meet me today."

Li Yuyan pushed her hair to the back of her ears, "It's my pleasure."

--- A few hours ago

Li Yuyan couldn't fall asleep the entire night and she decided to climb out of bed a few hours before the sun rose.

She grabbed her phone from the nightstand and walked out of the bedroom and to the restroom. In the pocket of the dress she wore today, there was the small slip of paper Liu Wei had handed her.

She entered the restroom and locked the door before turning on the lights.

After unfolding the paper, she opened her phone and typed the number into her contacts.

'Hello, President Liu. Sorry for disturbing you so early in the morning. It's me, Yuyan. I am President Su's wife.'

She closed her phone after sending the message and closed her eyes. To her surprise, her phone rang only about a minute later.

'Hello, Yuyan. No worries. I'm glad you messaged me.'

Li Yuyan read the message and debated on how to reply when her phone rang again.

'Do you have time later today? I would love to meet up with you.'

Li Yuyan was a little disgusted by how direct Liu Wei was even though he knew she was married, but the thought of He Xinyan bullying her at film today ignited her determination again.

'Yes, I have time. Where would you like to meet?'

This time, the reply came in a few seconds.

'How about at the coffee shop in the Dasi Hotel? What time would be best for you?'

Li Yuyan smiled triumphantly, 'How about 9:30?'

'Great! I will see you then!'

Li Yuyan closed her phone and held onto it tightly before taking a deep breath. She was going to do whatever it took to win! She was going to be on top!

With a smile, she stood up and quietly left the restroom, returning to the bed.

For the next few hours, she slept very well.

--- Present

"Good morning, President Liu. Sorry, I'm a little late."

Liu Wei smiled and lifted his arm up to call over the waiter, "No worries. All good things are worth waiting for."

Li Yuyan blushed and looked down with a smile.

A waiter walked over and handed Li Yuyan a menu.

Li Yuyan elegantly flipped through the menu, "Warm green tea, please."

"Yes, ma'am."

The waiter walked away and Liu Wei leaned forward, "The coffee here is very famous. Are you sure you don't want to try it?"

Li Yuyan frowned slightly as she saw Liu Wei's ugly face get all wrinkly when he grinned, but she still managed to squeeze out a smile.

"I'm good. I don't like coffee. It's too bitter."

Liu Wei nodded and leaned back against the chair, resting his thin arms on the armrests.

"Yuyan, from the first time I saw you, I really liked you. I was wondering if we could have a chance to be friends."

Li Yuyan looked at him and slowly nodded her head, "Of course. It is my honor to be friends with President Liu."

Liu Wei suddenly stood up and walked around the table to Li Yuyan's seat. The seats were very wide so it was able to fit two people.

He sat down next to her and grabbed onto her hand, "Although Su Zhiming is also very capable, he is still a beginner. I know that you are an actress, but Su Zhiming's company can't do much for you. Whereas, I am different. The Liu Corporation sponsors several huge films each year. . . I can help you a lot."

This was what Li Yuyan liked to hear, and her smile widened.

"It would be great to receive help from President Liu."

Liu Wei's smile grew even wider when Li Yuyan didn't pull her hands away, and he gently stroked them.

"Of course, there ain't no such thing as a free lunch. In return, I would like something too."

Li Yuyan took a deep breath as she could already guess what the trade would be.

"What would President Liu like? I will give you it as long as I have it."

Liu Wei chuckled, "I am liking you more and more, Miss Li. I like smart women like you."

Li Yuyan gulped, "Thank you for your compliment, President Liu."

Liu Wei suddenly leaned in so his lips were almost touching Li Yuyan's ears, "Tonight at 9 at the top floor of this hotel. I will text the room number to you later. You are very smart, and I know you understand what I mean."

Li Yuyan's body stiffened but her desire to win and have a better life had overcome her. She grinned, "Of course I understand."

Liu Wei pulled away, "Good. I still have a meeting later, so I will get going. Order whatever you like. Everything is on me today."

"Thank you, President Liu. I will see you later."

Liu Wei stood up just as the waiter came back with the tea. He left, leaving Li Yuyan alone at the table, her face very pale.

She had done it several times with Su Zhiming already, so there shouldn't be much of a difference. Li Yuyan comforted herself as she took a sip of the tea.

It's all for the better. . . It is her only choice now.

Meanwhile, He Xinyan also woke up after a lost-so-good sleep. The first thing she saw was Gu Yechen's dark black eyes.

"Good morning."

He Xinyan took a deep breath and moved down, snuggling up against Gu Yechen's chest, "Good morning!"

There was a moment of silence before Gu Yechen suddenly lifted his hand out of the blanket and used one finger to lift He Xinyan's chin up.

He grinned sexily and closed his eyes, slowly leaning in until their lips touched.

He Xinyan was shocked for a second because it was still early in the morning, and her mouth opened. Gu Yechen took this opportunity to push his tongue into her mouth, and it roamed the inside of her mouth freely.

"Mm. . ." He Xinyan moaned as she tried to push him away, but this only made Gu Yechen more excited as he wrapped both arms around her waist and pulled her in.

When they finally separated, He Xinyan's face was red from embarrassment and because she was out of breath.

"What's wrong with you?" She muttered, "Why are you so. . . these past few days?"

"So. . . what?" Gu Yechen smiled amusedly.

"So. . ." He Xinyan looked down and pressed her lips together, "Never mind! Let me go! I have filming soon!"

Gu Yechen chuckled and lifted one arm up so He Xinyan could escape from his embrace.

His little baby was getting more and more seductive. . .

--- 8:00 P.M.

At exactly 8 P.M., Li Yuyan received the message from Liu Wei.

'Room 5201. I will be waiting for you. . .'

Li Yuyan couldn't help but feel sick as the image of Liu Wei's face came into view. Why did He Xinyan get to have such a good backer, but she could only find someone like Liu Wei?!

Li Yuyan clenched her fists together angrily, however she couldn't back out now. She agreed and if she quit now, Liu Wei would definitely not let her off the hook so easily.

'It's okay. . .' Li Yuyan comforted herself. Once she gets better, she will have more choices! After this, she will be able to beat He Xinyan!

By then, even He Xinyan's backer will be after her!

She left her room in a black dress that hugged her curves and ended at her thighs at 8:10. When she walked downstairs, she saw Su Zhiming getting a cup of water in the dining room.

He looked up and slightly furrowed his eyebrows when he saw her outfit, "Where are you going?"

Li Yuyan gulped, "One of my friends is holding an overnight party. I might not be back until tomorrow morning."

Su Zhiming nodded, "Okay."

Li Yuyan was a little upset that Su Zhiming didn't question her further, and she thought that he didn't care about her anymore. However, there were more important things to do right now.

Li Yuyan stepped out of the house and got into her car to drive to the Dasi Hotel.

She parked in the parking lot and got out of the car, putting on a pair of sunglasses. After looking around, Li Yuyan walked into the hotel and straight for the elevator.

She stood in the corner of the elevator and rode up to the 52nd floor. Room 5201 was the first room after making a turn from the elevator lobby, and she flinched slightly when her eyes landed on the golden number.

Li Yuyan took a deep breath and made sure that no one was around before ringing the doorbell.

The door opened after a few seconds and she saw Liu Wei inside, wearing a white bathrobe.
