"She was very worried. She asked me about it too. . . All I know is in the end, she bribed the hospital that did the test, so it was. . . fake."

He Xinyan smiled, "I know it was fake."

She stood up and picked up her phone, casually stopping the recording.

"Thank you for your honesty! My curiosity has been fed, and I will no longer take up your time anymore." He Xinyan smiled and put her phone into her bag. She got the information she needed. Once Bai Jiawei heard this recording, Li Huiran and Li Yuyan were screwed.

This short recording was enough for Bai Jiawei to figure out what was going on, and for Li Huiran and Li Yuyan's life to be ruined.

"The DNA report!" Ma Yuhao jumped up, "You promised you would give it to me!"

He Xinyan opened her mouth slightly, "Oh, yes! I did! Here it is!"

She placed the report onto the table before walking out of the room.

After leaving the restaurant and entering her car, He Xinyan listened to the recording once through with a smile on her face.

It seems like it is in her genes. Li Yuyan's dad wasn't smart, just like her.

Did he really think she wouldn't keep another copy of the DNA report? How naive!

He Xinyan returned to the He mansion and went straight for her room.

She uploaded the recording to her computer and saved two copies of it.

With a smile, she walked out onto the balcony and looked over at Gu Yechen's house.

She was almost there. . . Now, all she needs is evidence about Bai Jiawei's horrible actions. She needs evidence about him causing her mother's death, and almost causing her death.

He Xinyan pressed her lips together. She was going to do it alone! She wouldn't need the help of anyone else, including Gu Yechen.

She was going to prove to everyone and herself that she could do it! Including her grandfather and mother who were watching her from above.

He Xinyan narrowed her eyes and clenched onto the balcony railing tightly.

She had the things she needed to get rid of Li Huiran and Li Yuyan, and all she needed was evidence about Bai Jiawei now.

Then, she could have Bai Jiawei help her get rid of Li Huiran and Li Yuyan, and then she would destroy Bai Jiawei right after.

He Xinyan raised one eyebrow slyly. Bai Jiawei would never think that she was right behind him, waiting to push him down.

However, she would still need a plan to figure out how she was going to get rid of Bai Jiawei.

She looked over at the large house behind the trees and finally smiled slightly. There was still some good in this world.

After eating dinner together, He Xinyan slept over at Gu Yechen's house.

She rarely entered the He mansion now, especially if Bai Jiawei, Li Huiran, and Li Yuyan were home.

Everything she needed was prepared in Gu Yechen's house, and he was fine with her staying over.

In fact, he was more than fine. He was thrilled that He Xinyan was staying more often now.

At night, He Xinyan was sitting on the bed and reading through some information on her computer. She would be going to work tomorrow, and it would be the first day she was the CEO.

As she closed the computer to get ready to sleep, Gu Yechen walked out of the restroom in a black silk bathrobe, his hair still dripping wet.

The opening of the robe was very low, revealing half of his chest.

He Xinyan's eyes sparkled from the sight and she jumped off the bed, "Wow!!"

As a very old couple now, He Xinyan was no longer shy and conservative anymore. In fact, she was never really a conservative person.

"Did you exercise more?! Your muscles look even more clear now," He Xinyan said as she opened the bathrobe a little more and looked in.

Gu Yechen couldn't help but smile amusedly at his "curious" baby, and he wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in.

"You know you can do more than look at them, right?"

"After marriage!" He Xinyan said again and glared at him, "Self control!"

Gu Yechen chuckled softly. He had really great self control. . . just not in front of her.

He Xinyan opened her mouth slightly as she admired the sight in front of her. Gu Yechen's skin color was very light, but it also looked very healthy.

She opened the bathrobe wider and wider to get a look at his abs.

Gu Yechen's smile widened, "I might as well just take the bathrobe off. However, I have to warn you. I'm not wearing any underwear."

He Xinyan widened her eyes slightly as she immediately let go of the bathrobe, "No need! I'm done!"

Gu Yechen pressed his lips together unhappily. But he didn't want her to be done!

He walked into the restroom again and grabbed a hair dryer, "Help me dry my hair."

"No!" He Xinyan pursed her lips out and crossed her arms together. In the novels, the male lead always dried the female lead's hair!

Why was it the other way around for her?!

"Please," Gu Yechen said, lowering his voice slightly.

He Xinyan glanced at his pitiful expression and sighed, "So shameless!"

He sat down on the bed and He Xinyan sat across from him. However, even sitting, he was much taller than her, and she had to get onto her knees to reach his hair.

She opened the hair dryer and began drying his black hair.

As she dried his hair, he began playing around with. . . her. Because she had to reach up to see his hair, her pajamas also naturally slipped up a little.

Gu Yechen, being the naughty person he was, started tickling her stomach.

"Ah! Gu Yechen! Stop!"

He Xinyan quickly turned off the hair dryer, since Gu Yechen's short hair was basically dry already.

"Gu! Ye! Chen! I'm never helping you dry your hair anymore!"

Gu Yechen smiled happily as he took the hair dryer from her and put it down onto the table, "I'm sorry, baby. Forgive me!"

He Xinyan scoffed at his insincere apology, "I don't forgive you!"

Gu Yechen frowned and shrugged a few seconds later, "It's okay. Even if you do forgive me now, I will still do it next time."

He Xinyan glared at him and stomped into the restroom, saying dramatically as she went, "I swear you didn't treat me like this when we first met! It is true. . . Men do change after ma -"

He Xinyan almost said marriage, but she quickly stopped herself.

"Hmph!" She said as she closed the restroom door.

Gu Yechen chuckled at his cute little baby and went to change into his pajamas.
