He Xinyan flipped through all of her skincare products and decided that it was time to go shopping!

After eating lunch, He Xinyan and Gu Yechen left the house with the two babies and arrived at the shopping mall. They each pushed a stroller and the other people inside the shopping mall all turned around to look at the breathtaking couple and cute kids.

They entered the shopping mall and first visited a baby shop, where they basically bought the entire shop. Gu Yechen bought a ton of girl clothes and girly times, completely ignoring the fact that he had another kid.

He Xinyan got mad at Gu Yechen for being so partial towards He Yulan, so she ended up buying everything for the little boy.

When they walked out, there were so many bags that Gu Yechen ended up having the manager of the shop ship the bags to their house since they couldn't possibly carry so many things.

After, they entered the most famous but expensive skincare shop in the entire country. As Gu Yechen played around with the two kids, He Xinyan went to look for possible products to help with the wrinkles and saggy skin.

A worker walked over and they talked for a while, and she recommended many products to her.

She picked out several products and after paying for them, she walked over to where Gu Yechen was seated and sat down next to him.

"Hmph! With the babies here now, you don't even shop with me anymore. You just play with the babies!" She said a little sourly, although she wasn't actually mad or jealous on the inside.

Gu Yechen smiled and kissed her, "Okay, I'm sorry, my little baby. Let's keep shopping, okay? You can buy whatever you want."

He Xinyan chuckled, "Hm. . . then I want something to eat!"

Gu Yechen stood up and pushed both strollers, one in each hand, "Okay, let's go."

However, before they could even leave the store, Gu Yechen received a call. He glanced at it and saw it was Gu Yebei. At once, he rejected the call but a few seconds later, it came again.

He annoyingly picked up the call, "What?"

"Brother! Help me!"

An hour later, He Xinyan, Gu Yechen, and the two kids returned home, where Xu Mengya and Gu Hanyu were already there waiting for them.

They were standing outside the door and the six of them walked in. After putting the babies back into their cribs and to sleep, He Xinyan returned downstairs with her eyebrows tightly furrowed together.

"What happened?"

"You got a call too?" Gu Yechen asked his dad as he moved over so He Xinyan could sit down next to him.

Gu Hanyu nodded his head, "I already looked into the phone number, but it seems to be an empty number. I couldn't find who was behind it."

He Xinyan frowned, "What exactly did the caller say?"

Gu Yechen thought back and knit his eyebrows together, "So first, Yebei picked up. He told me to help him and then the caller took the phone away from him. The caller is probably using a voice-altering device so I can't be sure whether it is a boy or a girl. He said. . ."

Gu Yechen narrowed his eyes, "He said Gu Yebei is in his hands and that he could kill Yebei any moment."

"Oh!" Xu Mengya put one hand over her mouth as she closed her eyes. Gu Hanyu immediately wrapped his arm around Xu Mengya's and gently comforted her.

"What does he want?" Gu Hanyu asked.

"He said he wants in exchange all of my stocks of the Gu Corporation. . ."

"All of your stocks?!" Xu Mengya's eyes widened, "If you give him all of your stocks, he will be the biggest shareholder!"

He Xinyan frowned, "That is probably that person's plan."

Gu Yechen nodded his head in agreement.

The four of them fell into silence until suddenly, it was broken as a baby began crying from upstairs. He Xinyan knit her eyebrows together a little frustratingly and stood up.

I'll go."

Gu Yechen immediately stood up, also a little annoyed. Being a parent wasn't easy, "It's okay, I can go."

He Xinyan smiled and shook her head, "It's okay. You three discuss what to do."

Then, she turned around and walked away towards the stairs. Even if she was married to Gu Yechen. She technically still wasn't truly "related" to the Gu family. In this type of situation, it was best for her to not get too ahead of herself.

She slowly walked up the stairs, both worried for Gu Yebei and wondering who it was that had such courage to kidnap the son of the Gu family.

It turns out Gu Anping had started crying, which was quite rare since he rarely cried unless he was very hungry or had dirtied his diapers.

She smiled as she picked him up and gently rocked him, "Why? Do you also sense that your uncle is in danger, so you are crying?"

She sat down and continued to play with him until he finally stopped crying. Then, slowly he fell asleep again.

She gently put him back into his crib and looked over at his sister, who had woken up as well from the crying but wasn't crying herself.

He Xinyan smiled and gently tickled her, causing her to giggle.

"You seem in a good mood. You aren't worried about your uncle?"

She giggled some more. He Xinyan smiled at her and lifted her up, gently rocking her to sleep as well so she wouldn't start crying later. Then, she exited the room and went back down the stairs.

On the way down the stairs, she heard the sound of the three of them talking, but she couldn't hear exactly what they were talking about.

When she returned to the living room, she heard Gu Yechen say, "No -"

However, upon hearing her footsteps, he immediately stopped talking and looked back at her.

"What happened?"

"Pingping was crying. What are you guys talking about?" She sat down next to him and leaned over to his body.

"Nothing. We are just discussing what to do."

He Xinyan could tell that he was keeping something from her, but she didn't ask him or press him about what it was since he didn't want to let her know.

"So -" He Xinyan opened her mouth to speak but suddenly, a phone rang.

Gu Yechen looked down and saw it was his phone.

The phone number on the screen was from an unknown caller.

"Hurry, hurry!" Xu Mengya said, leaning forward as they had all guessed who was calling.

Gu Yechen picked up the phone and put it on speaker mode, "Who are you?" He said coldly.

The other side of the phone chuckled, and the sound was a little distorted since he was using a voice changer, "You don't need to know that. If you want your brother back, I want to see an agreement with your signature on it to give me all of your shares of the Gu Corporation. I will be generous and give you two days to decide. After that, your brother. . . dead."

Gu Yechen's face darkened, "Do you know who you are messing with? I can find you easily and slice you up into eight pieces!"

The other end did not get scared by Gu Yechen's threat and instead laughed, "You can try. However, your brother will be dead by then, and -"

"Gu Yechen, don't do it!" Suddenly, there was a slightly muffled screen from what seemed like a distance away, but it was clear it was Gu Yebei.

"Don't give him -" Then, his voice was cut off.

"Who are you?!" This time, Gu Hanyu spoke.

Hearing the different voice, the other end of the phone paused for a few seconds before he replied, "This must be Gu Hanyu. . . hahaha!"

He chuckled, "How about this? I'll be nice and give you guys a hint. . . Do you remember Gu Hanwu?"

Gu Hanyu's expression immediately changed upon hearing that name.

"He is my dad."

Beep! Beep! Beep!

The person had hung up the call.

Noticing the change in his dad, Gu Yechen immediately asked, "Who is Gu Hanyu?"

"Gu Hanwu. . ." Gu Hanyu repeated.

Xu Mengya also furrowed her eyebrows together in confusion, "Gu Hanwu. Why does he have the same two words in his name as you three brothers? Is he also part of the Gu family?"

Gu Yechen also noticed this and it made him even more suspicious.

Gu Hanyu did not respond to them as he seemed deep in thought, occasionally furrowing his eyebrows together and then frowning, almost like he was confused about something.

Gu Yechen remembered how the caller had given him two days, "Dad, we don't have time to waste. You have to tell us. Who is Gu Hanwu?"

Gu Hanyu finally looked up and he scanned the three of them. There were several more seconds of silence, and finally, he opened his mouth.

"Gu Hanwu. . . He is my brother. My older brother."
