"Ya know I never thought that you would corner me like this" he said,

"You are the black wolf" she replied, ​​

"Yes I am, so why are you following me Octavia? " he asked,

"Why we're you in the castle and that top invited? " she asked,

"Hmm I was invited, you see they are a few perks in keeping your identity a secret" he replied.

He laughed "you are getting vicious, nice it seems my plans are working after all" he replied.

"You should stop dreaming, i will never hurt my employer and fiancee" she said,

"I see, fiancee huh, fine i will get rid of him eventually" he replied.

The girl got angry and hit him into a tree "quit yapping your nonsense or i will kill you" she shouted,

He got up "nice shot, since you want to fight, i have to defend myself" he said as he transformed into his wolf form.

Octavia was not planning on holding back this time, so she transformed into her wolf form too, he attacked her but she shoved him away, he growled at her and she charged at him with full force which made both of them fell off the mountain, they were falling so fast that she transformed back to her human self.

The black wolf howled and landed on his feet, since she was only a now changed wolf she cannot control that part of herself, he had no choice but to help her, he transformed into his wolf, jumped and caught her, after catching her, he threw her on the floor.

The girl stared at him, thinking he would finish her off right there but instead he turned back human and pulled his hood over his head so that she will not see his face.

"Why did you help me?" she asked,

"Like i said, you are a part of my plan, you are merely a pawn in my hand, so of course i had to help, even if i did not want to" he responded,

His response made her angry, she was going to hit him, but he grabbed on to her hand and squeezed it which caused her hand to start bleeding, he pressed his claws into her hand and she screamed.

Liam heard and arrived just in time, he charged at the black wolf but the black wolf grabbed on to his paw and broke it, due to that Liam transformed into himself but his hand was now broken, he could not fight, for some reason the black wolf was getting stronger, with the speed that the boy charged at him with, he yet saw the attack.

Octavia was shocked, after seeing what was happening the prince came but no one saw or sensed that he was there.

"He was faster than you, then how did you see through his attack?" she asked in pain,

He smiled wickedly "i am the strongest werewolf and the only one who can face the fastest vampire" he responded.

"She is losing a lot of blood, if he keeps that up she will lose a lot of energy and i cannot expose myself" he said to himself as he watched.

"Let go of me" she screamed,

Liam tried to get up but he could not because of the impact he got hit with.

"These two are useless, well it seems that Liam is more useless than her, i wonder what she will do to get out of that grip he has on her" the prince said,

Octavia struggled but then decoded to transform into her wolf and as she did that, the girl got loose, she hit him into a rock, grabbed on to Liam and ran as fast as she could.

When she arrived at the front of the forest, she stopped, the girl could not go any further because she was too weak, the prince came and caught her when she was about to fall,

"You okay?" he asked,

She looked at him with tears in her eyes "yeah i am fine, we need to get Liam to the nurse" she responded,

"I.. uh.. i am sorry i could not help" he said,

She smiled "i know your reasons so it is fine" she replied,

He gave a fake smile " let's get you guys back to the castle, we are gonna have some explaining to do too" he said as he called for a carriage.

When the carriage arrived he took them to the castle, there the nurse treated Liam' broken arm and Octavia's wound. When they were finish they went into the dining hall where the king and queens were waiting for them.

The queen Caria got up " tell us exactly what happened out there" she said,

"Well it is simple, we were chasing the black wolf, whom was actually invited to the party" the prince Cassius replied,

"Hmm it is a really bad thing when you do not know an enemy true identity" the king said,

"Yeah i know, what happened to you Liam?" Caria asked,

Before Liam could answer her, the prince started to talk "after we went after him, he tried to fight the black wolf but it was too strong for Liam, he saw right through Liam's attack and he even got hold of Octavia, he tried to drain a lot of blood from her body which would make her weak and vulnerable to him" he said,

"Damn he is cruel, so he basically let you guys go because it is all a part of him plans, i wonder what his next move could be" the king replied.

Octavia was happy with what the prince did, he did not tell them the full truth, he only told them part of what happened.

"It is really late, we are going to bed now, we can continue this in the morning" Cassius said,

"You are right, i am tired too, good night guys" Mary replied as she left for bed.

The others decided to get some rest too, for they had a long they and were all tired, Liam went to his quarter, while the prince took Octavia to their room.

"Have some thing to eat or drink then go to bed Octavia" the prince said,

"Okay sire" she replied.

The girl got up and tried to take a glass of juice but she did not had much energy in her hands, the prince saw and took the glass from her, he poured a glass of juice for her and placed her on the chair,

"Just this once i will feed you so do not feel too nice" he said as he fed her the juice.

When he finished the girl thanked him and they both went to bed.
