"Hmm there is something more to the queen's story, i have to find out" he said to himself,
"Your highness, calm down how about worrying about her instead" Damien said,
The shadow came closer to Octavia and out of the shadow came a hand, it placed it placed its hand on her face gently and wiped her tears, at the softness of its hand, she looked up but it put away its hand, "who are you?" she asked,
"That does not matter, you and i both know that i am not the enemy here, so i suggest you return to the castle immediately, the queen needs your help" it said,
"I know, who the enemy is and i will stop them" she replied as she wiped her tears and stood up,
"Will you be there?" she asked,
"I will be watching, do not worry , just be yourself" it replied as the girl transformed into her wolf and ran off towards the castle.
A little while later the black wolf caught up and his hands glowed black, as he was about to attack the queen, Octavia came and caught the dark ball he threw at the queen and redirected it to him. His clothes caught fire but he put it out.
"Ah so you are safe after all" he said,
" you were worried, well don't" she replied.
"My lady why are your powers so identical to Octavia's" Cassius asked,
The queen downed her head, "because she is.." she said as she stammered,
"Because she is my mother" Octavia said,
The prince looked at her in shock and so did Liam, "what?" Liam shouted,
The black wolf chuckled "so you found out, well at least now you know that you are not an orphan" he said.
The prince got angry at him and his eyes glowed red and black, the girl saw and she held his hands, he looked at her, "this is not your fight, sire, please stay come and watch over my mother" she said,

He calmed down, "okay, just uh... be careful" he replied with a little concern in his voice, she smiled as her eyes glowed white.
Her mother touched her and she look at the queen, Mariam reached out and hugged her daughter crying, Liam looked with tears in her eyes as he walked and held on to his family,
"I am sorry, i did not tell you the truth earlier, i was not sure that you were my daughter, until i saw the resemblance" she said,
The girl sighed "i understand but i still have some questions" she replied smiling,
"It turns out i have a brother and i am glad that it is you Liam" she said,
He hugged her "same here" he replied as he held on to his mother.
"Enough with the touching family reunion, argh it is so irritating" he said.
The black wolf jumped out of the window and went into the open valley on the mountain, the girl punched a hole through the wall and they followed him.
She laughed as he transformed into a more giant form of his wolf, he growled at her and she laughed, "i will kill you" she said as she transformed into an even bigger form of herself.
As for the others they were watching from a tall tree nearby, for that is what she asked them to do, even though Cassius did not want to listen to her, he did anyways because of her mother and brother. They were his responsibility while she was fighting.
He attacked and she bit him on the neck, while they were fighting the caused the grass from the valley to disappear, her hatred for the wolf was only growing and she did not want her heart to be filled with hatred.
Her eyes started to glow white and she decided to fight him in her human form, that way she would have more advantage. She transformed into her human form and as he rushed to hit her, she grabbed him by the paw and threw the giant wolf into the other mountain.

He groaned in pain, "what horrifying strength" the wolf said to himself,
He tried to stand up but kept falling, "i think she broke my paw, which means if i continue to fight, i will lose but i cannot leave without hurting her" he said as he used his magic and healed his paw.
The girl saw what he did and knew he was not going to give up and as she was about to hit him, he moved out of the way and struck her by her waist with his nails, he infected her wound with poison.
The girl fell to the floor and the princes saw, her mother wanted to help but Cassius stopped them,
"I can fight him but she made me agree to do something and that is to look after you guys and one thing is for sure if you guys go out their, you will surely get your asses whoop" he said,
"I am afraid he is right mom, we have to trust that she will get out of this" Liam replied.
He transformed into a human and walked up to her, he grabbed her by the neck and lifted her up in the air, "you can never win against me princess" he said to her as her face got blue.
He then slammed her into the ground with his might creating a crater, the girl laid their lifeless.
"I will kill you and then kill everyone you care about" he said to her.
He then grabbed his sword and placed it above her and when he was about to strike, she got up with speed and grabbed onto the sword, she punched it and it broke in half, he then looked at her in amazement and just when he lost focus.
The girl focused her energy in her wright hand and gave him a powerful upper cut, she then grabbed on to him and punched him into the ground.
With her bleeding, she still stood strong, "i will not let you harm them" she said.

Collection of Short Stories?
I lied it's even less than a short story more like a collection of disparate situations. Also you can read this completely out of order. There is no connection between the chapters. Read any that interest you.

At The Lions Gate
In the 20th century America reinvented itself. Devastated by depression, scarred by war, rocked by a revolution, Americans banded together to preserve their country and their freedom. They had faith in themselves, faith in one another, and for those who believed…faith in God. This novel tells the story of one American who lived through those turbulent years….years that would test his character and the character of a nation. For Josh Sanders it begins in 1935. A star athlete in school, pro football is a ticket out of poverty during the Great Depression; but when his father, a WWI veteran, is killed during a robbery, Josh’s spirit is broken, and with it his boyhood dream. To honor his father Josh joins the war effort in 1942, distinguishing himself as a fighter pilot, until a fateful decision near the end of the war changes the course of his life once again. But many years later, after a stint as a boxer and a failed marriage, Josh finds his calling…at a time when the country is at war with itself. The year is 1968. King and Kennedy have been killed, race riots are breaking out, and Vietnam has become an albatross, causing massive protests across the country. In the streets of San Francisco Josh watches a crowd of students march for peace. As a veteran he’s conflicted, toward the war and those who oppose it. But when he encounters Rosy Goldin, a spirited young protester in need of help, a voice from the past calls him to action. His good intentions are soon tested when Rosy falls in love with the fugitive anti-war activist Erick White, a young man determined to oppose the war at all costs, against the wishes of his own father. Fearful of what happens to Rosy, Josh confronts Erick, unwilling to be part of his plan to escape…until he meets the boy’s father. A high-powered criminal attorney, Karl White is also a flag-waving patriot demanding that his son follow the law. But as White makes his case Josh is jolted by a painful war-time memory, a crisis of conscience that will soon determine the fate of Rosy Goldin and Erick White.
