A few months after they began dating each other, a few people found out and told the king, he was happy and did not object to their relationship but others did, Damien fell in love with her mother and he was one vengeful werewolf who did not take no for an answer and the princess only considered him as a friend from the pack.

One day Damien came to the palace to meet the princess, she was pleased to see him without knowing what his intention were. ​​

He bowed down to her "your highness" he said,

"Damien you do not need to bow to me" she replied,

"Will you marry me?" he asked,

She was shocked when he asked her that.

Since he was the duke's son and they went to the same school growing up the girl laughed, but stopped when she looked and saw he was serious.

"You are kidding right?" she asked,

"No my lady, i love you and i will not stand by and watch you be with a peasant boy" he said,

"I do not care who he was, right now he is my future husband, i am sorry but i do not feel the same way about you" she replied,

He looked at her and his eyes started to glow "Damien you need to calm down and leave" she said,

"How can you put him above me?" he asked,

"Because i love him" she said,

"To hell with love, he is a peasant, peasants and royals do not belong together" he shouted.

Magnus heard the commotion and arrived there in less than a minute "what is going on here?" he asked,

"I am glad you came, you cannot marry her, i will not let you" he said,

"I would like to see you try and stop me" Magnus replied,

"I am the only one who knows what is good for her, i love her, you just want her for status " Damien said,

"That is not love Damien, it is called obsession" Magnus replied as Mariam hugged him,

"I am sorry Damien, a few weeks from now is our wedding please do not ruin this for me" she said.

Damien looked at her and sighed "fine, i am sorry for behaving that way, congratulations you two" he replied as he disappeared.

The princess sighed " i feel sorry for him" she said,

"Yeah me too, i am sure he will come around " Magnus replied.

"I have been trying on the wedding dresses, there is a lot to do around here" she said,

"Want me to help you?" Magnus asked,

"No you focus on becoming the next king" she said as she walked away and he laughed.

Later that same day her father came to her as she was choosing the flavor for the wedding cake,

"Sweetheart can i talk to you?" he asked,

"Sure dad" she responded as he sat down on the chair in the living room,

"My child some people do not agree with this marriage, what do you want to do?" he asked,

"Father you thought me to always follow my heart, both of us are doing that, do not worry i promise to make you proud" she said,

He smiled "i know you will sweetheart" he replied.

The princess was worried that something might go wrong on her wedding day so she asked her father to add extra security.

After a week and couple days of planning the girl finally got to relax with her lover and she even forgave Damien not knowing what he would do next.

Two days before her wedding, the girl spent the time with her fiancee and her father, she got a death treat from someone but did not mention it to her lover and father, she decided to investigate into the matter herself.

A few of her werewolves friends came to assist her, they searched every corner but never found out who was threating the princess, she had a hunch that it might be Damien but she was not sure, so she stayed quiet until her wedding day.

Every leader of each kingdom came to her wedding which was huge and was the most happiest day of the couple's life, her wedding day was perfect in every way, her wedding dress was beautiful, her cake was huge and had a bride on groom on top.

Even though she she was excited for her wedding and the girl was uneasy, she knew something was not right.

While they were exchanging their vows, the girl sensed great darkness among them and knew that whoever it was that wanted to harm her was waiting for the perfect moment.

After the wedding, the girl and the boy cut the cake and had a dance, she had her first dance with her husband and her second with her best friend Damien.

"Congratulation on the wedding" he said to her as they danced,

"Thank you Damien, that means a lot coming from you" she replied,

"I will always be here for you my lady" he said,

She smiled "i know" she replied,

Later that afternoon, when the princess prepared to leave for her honeymoon and her husband was going to pack their luggage in the carriage, the chandelier fell on him, upon hearing the crash she ran to his aid only to find blood all over the floor.

She screamed for the guards and they lifted the chandelier off of him, she grabbed him and took him to the room, their she took some of his pain and looked after his wounds, while doing that she started to cry.

Magnus placed his hand on her face "hey i am fine, do not worry about me" he said,

"If you were not a vampire you will be dead, we are not going anywhere" she replied.

From that day forward the princess became more protective of her family and never trusted anyone except Damien.

A year went by and the girl got a child, it was a girl and her father named her Octavia.

Upon hearing about the new born child Damien's blood boiled and he had decided to finish the royal family's happiness for once and for all. He was angry that the princess did not love him and could not bear to see them happy.
