Cornered By The CEO Chapter 248

Mo Qingchen had already arranged all her toiletries on the counters and she even found a range of hair care products… the same brand that Mo Qingchen used for his luscious hair.
As she slowly unpacked, invasive thoughts came to her.
"What's wrong?" Mo Qingchen asked.
"What makes you think something is wrong?" she answered, looking up at him.
"You're quiet."
"Maybe I just don't have anything to say. People are quiet all the time. It doesn't mean anything."
"Normal people, yes. Yun Qian Meng? No. You always have something to say… or do."
Qian Meng shook her head and laughed as she folded her suitcase back. "Nothing really. Just thinking…"
"About?"
"What if we get sick of each other?"
Mo Qingchen thought about the answer for a while. "It's a big house. I am sure we could keep our distance if that came to be."
Qian Meng nodded and raked her fingers through her hair, immediately cringing. It felt knotted and dirty.
"I feel disgusting. I hate the way it feels after traveling on the plane. Even private jets can't help it, huh? I need a shower."
"I was thinking the same. But you go in first."
Qian Meng looked over at him. "Thank you."
As Qian Meng walked to the shower, she heard the door click behind her. She slowly began stripping off her clothes until they were in a pile on the floor.
She pulled the glass door to the shower area open and reached inside to turn the spray of water to a near-scalding temperature. She was just about to step in when she realized that all of her shower necessities were still in her bag in the bedroom.
The towel… the thing she needed the most.

I sighed and closed the door again before making her way over to the bathroom door. She opened one and stuck her head out. Mo Qingchen was lounging across the bed, one arm behind his head, flipping through the channels on the television.
"Mo Qingchen!" she faked a gasp. "I cannot believe you are soiling your precious blanket by lying down in your filthy clothes."
Mo Qingchen turned his head immediately and stared. "I thought you were taking a shower."
"I am, but I forgot my towel in here. I also need some other stuff. Close your eyes so I can get it."
He raised his brow. "You want me to close my eyes? I've already seen all of it. What are you hiding?"
"It's different," Qian Meng scolded. She wasn't sure how, but it just was. Mo Qingchen laughed and shook his head before closing his eyes.
Qian Meng checked one last time before opening the door wider and slipping out into the bedroom. A gust of wind hit her, causing her nipples to harden and goosebumps to break out all over her skin.
She faced the bags against the walls, her back to Mo Qingchen as she unzipped the bag.
"Say, you scolded me for eating on the bed, but here you are rubbing your dirty body all over it. What do you have to say about that?" she taunted.
She was bent over and digging through her luggage, shifting around clothes. Finally, she found what she was looking for. She straightened back up, picking up her bag.
"I am rubbing against the bed because your behavior rubbed off on me," he accused lightly. Qian Meng finally turned around.
Mo Qingchen was staring at her, his eyes twinkling as a big smile spread across his face.

"Mo Qingchen!"
"What?" he laughed. "Did you really believe I wouldn't look?"
"You're not a man of your words, are you?" Qian Meng muttered. "I won't trust you from now on." She scurried back into the bathroom and shoved the door close behind her.
Her shower was long and hot. She thoroughly lathered her hair with the brand new bottle of shampoo Mo Qingchen had ordered for her. She scrubbed her body thoroughly to get the sticky residue from traveling off.
She even shaved her legs. When she finished, she felt so much better. It was good to be clean, but the hot spray of water felt so good that she lingered inside for more than necessary.
She had no idea how long she stood there, but she didn't turn the water off until it was already lukewarm instead of hot. She snagged the towel that she had hung up and toweled herself dry. She even patted the water out of her hair before stepping out of the shower.
Qian Meng hated putting on clothes when she was wet. Instead, she cooled off and air-dried herself in the bedroom. She could do the same while Mo Qingchen took a shower.
In the bedroom, Mo Qingchen was still on the bed, nearly in the same position as before. His eyes shifted to her when she opened the door.
"The bathroom is free," she told him.
"Is there any hot water left?" he teased with a hint of a smirk on his lips.
"Come on, I wasn't in there for that long." There was indeed not much hot water left. He could enjoy the sudden spurt of cold water for teasing her so much.
He scooted to the edge and swung his legs over the side of the bed so that he could stand up. "It was easily over thirty minutes." He walked over to where she stood.
"Really?"
"Yes."
Qian Meng shrugged. "I was shaving."
He hummed. "Is that so?"
"Yes," she said, furrowing her brows at him in question.
He bent a little at the knees until he could reach to put his hand on the back of her knee. He slid it upwards slowly, moving across the backside of her thigh.
"Smooth," he commented in a low tone, keeping his eyes on hers.
"Yes, that is the intended effect of shaving," Qian Meng countered with a laugh.
But the man kept sliding his hand up higher, turning it towards the inside her thighs. "Is that all you shaved?"
Qian Meng's laughter faded and her heart thudded against her chest at the sudden change of events. She wondered what he was trying to start. She bit her lip and tried to think of how to respond.
