Primordial Dimensions Chapter 82

Rushing through the alleys, Shane passed through many guards that looked at him doubtfully, but he didn't even give them a second look.
`Please!!` He shouted in his mind, hoping that his feet might carry him faster towards the shelter hall that swam into his view.
Shane was still unsure how the military had failed to detect something as easy as this. The only reason that they might have missed it was maybe that the individuals who had the highest military ranks had left the shelter, leaving a few lower ranked and younger youths behind.
These soldiers had most likely reached the Expert stage with a slightly higher mana purity. He felt that their minds were not as sharp as those with a higher authority while their way of thinking might as well be naive.
He knew much more about the military than most peers and for him, the radar's function was obvious, while it might look like a malfunction to others.
Charging into the shelter hall he ran past two tired guards that noticed him too late, as he walked in the entrance hall where the radar was situated.
Shane immediately saw more than ten youths in a military outfit, while only four of them seemed to have reached the age of 20, causing him to frown.
"Who are you? What are you doing here? Don't you know that disturbing the military is considered a sin?" A blonde-haired youth with handsome features said in an annoyed voice when he saw Shane.
After realizing that Shane was far more good-looking than him, the blond-haired youth had a sudden urge to show off his military rank.
"I don't care a shit about the garbage you're saying! What the f**k are you guys even doing here, instead of preparing for a beast tide?" Shane shouted in an enraged voice. The ten or so military youths were caught off-guard at his sudden outburst and stared at him with a dumbfounded expression.

`What the hell is this idiot saying?` most of them thought as a bulkier brown-haired man in his 20's calmly explained.
"Civilian, you might have just learned of the current situation, but our combat force is already out and about to annihilate the thunder wolf's threat. After fixing the radar, everything will be fine, okay? Just go back and let us do our job."
Shane felt relieved to see that the military soldier had responded calmly to a civilian instead of beating him into a pulp. But, this would have been only great to see if they were doing what they were supposed to.
Without minding them, Shane walked closer to the radar, with a shocked expression appearing on his face.
"If you guys had been good at your work, each of you would have known that an overlapping radar frequency indicated two different kinds of beasts gathering together.
Furthermore, because the frequency on the radar is stable, they don't seem to attack each other…
Can't you guys see that a large group of dots is coming straight towards us… ohh my f**king lord….How many awakened beasts are that??"
Shane was shocked, as he looked at the brown-haired guy, signaling him to come closer, which the perplexed young man did subconsciously.
Somehow Shane, who stood in front of him emitted an aura and confidence that was usually associated with the highest authorities in the military. This caused him to subdue and be more disciplined as he learned over the last few months.
Upon looking at the radar's holographic screen, his eyes widened, as he told the others who looked at Shane disapprovingly with doubtful eyes, to come over.
Hearing the seriousness in their fellow comrade's voice, they sensed that something was wrong, as they came closer. A look of utter terror was mirrored across all of their faces as they saw a large swarm of dots with different frequencies coming straight towards their position.

Even if they had doubted Shane before, how could they stand within the shelter-hall as if all was well, while a large-scale beast tide might hit them any moment?
"How d-didn't we notice that before?" The blond-haired youth who had been overconfident a moment before shuddered violently. He took out a purple crystal with a black shining rune inscribed on it, as he injected mana into it.
The black rune manifested above the purple crystal and they could suddenly hear voices through the runes after a few moments.
"What is wrong, Leo? Don't you know we are about to attack the Wolf den? If this is nothing important again, I'll beat you up into a pulp." A young but powerful voice said and Shane immediately knew that it had to be their superior.
`They haven't attacked yet? YES` he almost shouted, as he heard Leo's trembling voice
"S..Si.Sir... We ha...ve..a problem….W--Wee...WHAT" Leo's trembling voice was interrupted with Shane rushing towards him, taking over the purple crystal as he said.
"Sir, we have a problem within the shelter, due to your subordinate's wonderful work...
They couldn't detect a Two-race beast tide.
The number of awakened beasts ranges from 500 to several thousand, while even more elite and wild stage beasts are charging towards us...
Our information is limited and I can only assume that one of the two races is the scaled lizards… The shelter defenses are still not completely set up and it will at most take 10 minutes for the first beasts to reach our walls."
Shane finished, before he pushed back the purple messenger crystal towards Leo, not without glaring at him in disgust.
Stepping back, he could only hear the superior shouting
"WHAT?? YOU GODDAMN B**CHES…..Immediately set up the shelter's defenses and stall time until we arrive…. I'll kill you all even if a single soldier dies, UNDERSTOOD?"
Hearing this, everyone's face paled. Shane wanted to slink out of the shelter hall unnoticed, unfortunately, his plan didn't work out.
"The young man who reported to me was not someone from your unit, is that correct?" Shane overheard a question, causing him to halt in his tracks.
`Don't you have something better to do right now?` Shane thought as he turned around, only to see the ten soldiers glaring at him because he had betrayed them indirectly.
"He is only a civilian," Leo answered honestly after he calmed down a bit.
"Oh...interesting… Tell him that I want to speak with him once everything is over… Now prepare your defenses!!" The young man said as he ended the call.
`Can't they let me in peace?` Shane lamented in his mind.
However, noticing the glares from his surroundings, Shane decided to run off. Even the brown-haired guy seemed to be annoyed because of his report., while saying
"I understood your superior, bye...good luck surviving!"

The Stars Have Eyes
The universe was a vast, empty, dark, and uncaring place. Then life happened, and the universe was changed forever. Only a teeny-tiny bit, but definitely different. Then again, the universe changes a teeny-tiny bit every second of every day. For instance, if someone were to get off the couch and randomly drink a glass of milk? Bam! One less glass of milk in the universe. Changed forever. Well, excluding any time-travel shenanigans, but anyone who puts a big old hole in the time-space continuum just to un-drink a glass of milk should really reevaluate their priorities. Unless, of course, they were attempting to prevent some massive catastrophe vis-a-vis said glass of milk. Such a scenario is by no means impossible, as one should never underestimate the importance of calcium. Another important tip for any life forms out there is to keep things in perspective. Some look at the vastness of creation in relation to themselves and go, ‘Man, this sucks!’ These people really need to narrow their focus. Sure, they will never affect anything happening on the other end of the galaxy, but so what? That’s way the heck over there, where it doesn’t matter. Therefore, in order to maintain a healthy mindset, it is important to narrow one’s perspective to the things and people that affect them, and that they can affect in turn. But what happens if one is an unfathomable cosmic being from beyond the veil of reality? What happens when such an existence is capable of influencing entire swathes of the universe just by its presence? A creature such as Magh'rathlak the Observer? That particular entity is only about average as far as reality-warping creatures from the dawn of time go, so its influence over the fabric of reality is rather limited. And it still struggles to keep things in perspective. That, among other things, is why it decided to narrow its worldview a bit by compressing the maddening vastness of its being into a single corporeal form. Magh'rathlak had never tried such a feat, but that wasn't about to stop it. After all, how hard could being human possibly be?

Book 1 He was cast to the edges of his clan. His father could not stand to even look at him. His baby sister probably didn't even know he was her brother... All because he, unlike all other vampire (The correct terminology will be Wanpyrkos; van-peer-coe-s) kind, was born blind. And what do all creatures do to those that are different, those that do not fit society, those that they think should not have been born to this civilized society...? [Book Cover Made by the wonderful THEMIDNIGHTECLIPSE13] - thank you! I'm only introducing the perspective of the main character for the first part. Things change drastically soon after that. [BDSM entries are clearly marked and written so they can be skipped without affecting the story] ***A couple scenes to whet your palate*** 1. "Uh, we heal from pretty much everything and anything. Have you ever tried physically damaging your eyes to see if they would fully heal?" "N-no. No, it doesn't work," I forced out, my voice a little strangled and cracking before hardening. "And stuff like that, isn't that just wrong?! Hurting someone just to 'fix' them." 2. I leaned and he met me, our soft lips touching and moving perfectly on each other's. I felt as his tongue ran the slit of my lips, my tongue coming to graze it as it passed over, knowing doing so was like catnip to him. He leaned closer, and I shivered as his hands ran from low on my hips and grazed along and up my ribs, pulling my chest closer to his so my body arched and rubbed against him. I hummed in appreciation. [warning: so far aggressive or physical bullying and maybe a little kidnappage and sexual themes as well as possible trigger warnings]
