Primordial Dimensions Chapter 95

Without wasting too much time, Shane journeyed back to the shelter and reached it a little over two hours later.
Knowing that school would begin at 8 am, he took a glance at the system's time. It was barely 2:30 am, which left him with more than five hours of time to do other things.
Over the last 40 days, since Shane had entered the Primordial Dimensions, he never had time to relax or do something else. All he had done was fighting, cultivating, researching information to earn more funds or other tasks that focused on increasing his strength.
As such, he wanted to do something else for the next few hours, before focusing on the academy or rather gathering intel about his classmates, or so-called competitors.
In the end, Shane only wanted to enter an academy because of the dimension-sphere. It would allow him to save some funds, while it was also beneficial for him to get to know his peers' strengths.
Even if he were to study at the Shirai academy, which was labeled as one of the weakest, Shane was sure that at least youths that had entered the Primordial dimension a few months before he would be as strong as him, if not stronger.
It was not really difficult for parents within the intermediate dimension to procure funds for their children. Many descendants of wealthy families would receive enough resources to reach the 10th Expert stage with a mana purity of 60%, while the main issue was their combat prowess.
If one couldn't use their physique or mana pool to the fullest extent, it was pointless to even cultivate at all, Even someone at the Apprentice stage with a high combat prowess might be able to defeat combat rookies, also called 'combat-cripples' within a short amount of time.
Shane estimated that most students should have already reached the Apprentice rank, with many older youths that might have already broken into the Expert rank.
'It's probably like Aunty Kia said, huh? Cultivation really starts at the Master rank or rather within the Intermediate Dimension. Not even the financial situation of most parents is enough to procure resources...even for themselves.'

Shaking his head, he could only disapprove of the decision of most of the parents. They failed to understand that they were spoiling their children with goodwill and resources only for them to have a hard time within the intermediate dimension.
'This was probably another reason for the government to construct many academies, huh?'
Without bothering about this further, he had to think of a way to defeat such enemies in order to receive more opportunities to enter a dimension-sphere. Shane doubted that he would be able to completely comprehend a technique or skill within a single sitting.
As such, there was much for him to consider but this was something that could bother him later…
Now, he wanted to have some fun, which was not one of Shane's privileges.
Walking towards the Dimensional Portal, he pondered what to do, as he noticed something…
'What is fun?' On earth, he was happy to play around with all kinds of wild animals. But seeing them being injured or dying was traumatizing for Shane, which led him to become a veterinarian, only to be shot later.
And thinking about his childhood on Igra, Shane could only frown, because fun was the last thing he had ever received.
The only thing which made him slightly happy, was the time with his aunts and uncles because they treated him well. It was always interesting to listen to their stories because his father never told him anything about his past at all.
'Should I just read something?' Shane pondered as he stepped through the DImensional Portal in order to arrive at Igra, where he hadn't been for a long time.
Once he entered Igra, an uncomfortable feeling enveloped him and he immediately realized the emptiness around and within him.
'Comparing Igra without a single trace of mana with the Primordial Dimensions is really sad…' Sighing deeply, Shane wanted to go back into the Dimensional Portal to leave Igra, as he forced himself to stay.
There was still a trace of hope left as he thought 'I hope they have a mana generator within the academy….Otherwise, I'm not going to waste my time on Igra, except for the intervals when I can receive the chance to enter a dimension-sphere…'

Without amiable mana particles around him, Shane felt demotivated while the remaining mana within him was slowly circulated through his veins in order to annex it and purify it.
Looking around, he noticed that it was still completely dark. He was teleported to Lira, which was the Stella-federation's capital, with a population of approximately 250 million citizens.
Shane had lived there for his entire second life but he had never seen many citizens. He had been confined to the walls of a mansion that was surrounded by a huge forest and a large fence.
Furthermore, it was additionally protected by a large number of guardians at the Squire stage or even higher, indicating the importance John Stella gave to his own son.
Or was it the opposite?
Without him being able to do what he wanted, the mansion felt more like a prison while the humans protecting his life felt more like prison guards.
It was only because Shane was lucky that one particular guard had slacked off and slept during his duty, that he had escaped from the prison-like mansion.
Maybe he had helped out a little bit, but who would ever figure this out?
Smiling lightly at the sight of Lira-city, he could see many citizens walking around, even though it was almost 3 am.
'The mana high-velocity(MHV) train should arrive soon, right?' Shane thought, as he took a look at the clock and the time of the train's arrival stamped on the ticket he had purchased a few days ago.
Since the Dimensional Portals descended, one could use the system for almost everything and Shane did so to purchase an MHV-train ticket.
Opening Lira's map, Shane rushed towards the direction where he presumed the train station would be. Only a few minutes later he saw a gigantic skyline train station, shocking him.
It would be unsuitable for an extremely fast train to race through a narrow and crowded city, which was the reason for a skyline train station to be built.
With this, the MHV-train could immediately accelerate to its top speed without wasting much time. Shane was extremely fortunate, as he noticed that only three minutes were left until his train would arrive.
Hurrying up the stairs, he searched for his platform and waited for the train to arrive.
Meanwhile, his mind was still unable to answer the question of what exactly fun is. Shane could only think of it as being happy around other people or animals because he didn't know what else it might be otherwise.
Suddenly he heard a few voices next to him, attracting his attention.
"Hey Aimy, are you also on your way to the Shirai academy? Me too, hehehe!!" Turning around, he saw two young girls around his age talking to each other.
Based on their clothes, expression, and released aura, Shane perceived something, as he faintly smiled.
'It might be more interesting than I thought if everyone is at their level'
"Olivia, please don't behave as if it was a coincidence!! Wasn't it obvious which academy I would apply to?!"
Still smiling, Shane decided to ignore the two girls behind him, as he turned back to mind his own business, waiting for the train to arrive.
'What can I do to have fun inside the train?' He asked himself when he was bothered by what the girl who was apparently called Olivia said.
"Can you see the beggar in front of us? Why does he look so dirty? Isn't it weird for someone at the MHV-train platform to look like this?"

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.
