Primordial Dimensions Chapter 158

"A customized world seed?" His aunt's words both confused him and piqued his curiosity. This was news to him and he was eager to learn more about it.
Kia's lips curled upwards when she noticed Shane's curious gaze which she was overly familiar with, as his eyes had always betrayed him since he was young.
Clearing her throat she started with her explanation, which caused her to feel like they went back several years in time wherein she taught a small boy about all kinds of things.
"A miniature world is an artificial creation of the Crestfallen race which is an extremely powerful and technologically versatile race. Their journey inside the Primordial Dimension starts at the Advanced dimensions, and even their youngest generation is stronger than most beings inside the Basic Dimension. There are not many advanced races and the Crestfallen are considered the weakest, but that doesn't mean you can take them lightly!!
Now, to put it bluntly, a miniature world is considered a rather basic creation of the Crestfallen, even if its price is astronomical.
Small miniature worlds can be created by the younger generation, while only the largest and complex miniature worlds might be manufactured by the older Crestfallen if they're in dire need of funds.
However, this is not really important for your current circumstances.
Rather, you'll have to rely on the Crestfallen race if you want to purchase a miniature world and enlarge it. Every single time, you would have to pay, not only the material price but also an hourly fee to the Crestfallen which is rather expensive.
Yet, comparing it to a customized world seed, a miniature world might still be less expensive, but its effects and functions are substantially different!
I don't know how many tamed beasts you'll have in the future, but a customized world seed is nothing but a natural miniature seed if you want it to be one.
You might not be able to create a real, huge planet or something like that, but customizing your own small world might be perfect for you.
At least, if you don't want to rely on the Crestfallen race younglings that might as well sell you something malfunctioned, even if the chances are negligible.
This is unlikely and the chances are 1 to 10,000,000 or even less.
As such, it's not a reason to choose a system customized world seed over a miniature world.
However, a big difference between a miniature world and a customized world seed is the ability of a world seed to grow as long as it absorbs the mana around it.

A miniature world can't grow just like that and has to be enlarged manually, while a customized world seed can do this.
Another advantage is that you can bind the customized world seed to your soul, fusing it with your body if you want to!
Through this, you might be unable to take the world seed outside your body, but I doubt that this is something you want either way, because whoever you want can enter the world you are about to create, and you can even enter it with your mind.
A miniature world can also be bound to someone, but it's extremely difficult to permanently fuse it with a living being.
This is only one reason, but you probably agree with my opinion that it's already a great difference to permanently bind something to your body and that you don't even have to take this soul-bound world outside, in order to allow others to enter or exit it.
Meanwhile, a miniature world can't do something like this which is a small minus point in your current circumstances.
In the end, a customized world seed is also a living being and requires mana to grow and blossom, allowing the creation of a small barren world that was able to flourish with the right adjustments.
By fusing with the world seed, you don't have to be anxious about it exploding or something like that once the world enlarges, as it will change substantially after you bind it to your soul.
Rather than creating a normal world, it's more that you create your own dimension or a soul world, as some races like to call it.
In the end, the world seed and you would be considered one entity, which means that you yourself would become the world if you want to put it like that...Isn't that funny??"
Aunt Kia barely stopped talking for a few seconds and was about to start again after taking a few deep breaths when Shane raised his hand indicating that he needed some time to process all the information she had just shared.
"So...a world seed that has been customized can be bound to my soul and then I can create a world within me, so that my tamed beasts can live there? And, such a world only requires mana to blossom or are there some hidden expenses?? I doubt that a customized world seed is cheap in any way, and if there are more expenses for me I might be unable to create a large enough world for Umbra, my tamed beast to enter or even live for some time!"

Saying this, a sudden thought flashed through his mind as he added
"A miniature world also has an artificial sun and the most basic ecosystem... the customized world seed probably doesn't have something like that….is it even possible for the world seed to survive within me?"
Hearing Shane's words, Kia couldn't contain her smile as she was happy to spend time with a curious student like Shane who didn't bother to hold back while asking questions.
"To put it simply, you don't have to create your own ecosystem if you don't want to! As I already said, you and the world seed will be considered as a single entity once you bind it, and the sunlight and air brushing past you will be absorbed by the world seed to allow the beasts and plants inside to carry out photosynthesis and metabolism!
This is, however, only if you want to have plants or other beasts inside your world because you would have to get them inside by yourself.
I don't know if you're aware of this but the world will be a barren land in the beginning and won't change in any way if you don't bother to do anything about it!
Furthermore, if my intel is not wrong, a world seed will also actively absorb mana consistently, and you can even nurture it with your own mana, and the same applies for the other way. As such, it shouldn't be impossible to take some of the excess mana that is not required to maintain the world seed, and use it for yourself to cultivate! But, this is not something I can say for sure, and you would have to test it out!"
Shane's interest in customized world seeds further increased which Kia could see as he nodded his head. It would have been a lie if she were to say that she didn't want to create her own world too!
However, there was a small issue she would have to face while buying a customized world seed….It was way too expensive to purchase one at her current stage!
As such, she wanted to tell Shane as much as possible, and maybe, he would unknowingly fulfill her dream.
"Shane! There is also something else that you have to know about customized world seeds...It would be better to purchase one sooner rather than later because their price is dependent on some factors.
One factor is the reason you want to purchase the world seed if it's for yourself, another civilization or maybe even to provide a habitat to your own race on it.
If it was the first reason, the second factor would be how high your cultivation stage is! The lower your cultivation stage, the cheaper the price of a customized world seed!
As for the other reasons, there won't be any discounts or something similar, as a civilization could accumulate more gold coins than a single individual in a matter of seconds.
The third factor would be the whole customization process which would change the price for the world seed according to the changes one wanted to do.
If you only want a world seed with a diameter of several hundred meters as its biggest size, you can customize it, which would not only make it much cheaper but also restrict its potential!
In the end, there are even a few well-known races that use customized world seeds strategically for war.
With only one blink, the sole opponent's hidden soul-bound world might finish off several thousand warriors."
Shane's head was hurting and he could already visualize how red his head might look from the outside as he listened to his aunt, who was hardly able to hold herself back from praising world seeds and their advantages.
However, Shane could not focus solely on the advantages, because it was more important for him to see how useful it was, for his current circumstances.
If he were to spend an extraordinary quantity of gold coins for a customized world seed, only for several months to pass before the seed would even blossom and create a world within him, it would be a loss of time, effort, and gold coins.
Shane understood the advantages, and he was definitely interested in creating his own world, but there were too many unknown factors for him to pay attention to at the moment, and he couldn't be reckless in almost spending his whole fortune to purchase a world seed if that was even enough.
Right now, efficiency was more important than happily playing God to create a world.

Dream Dungeon
Welcome to the dream dungeon. Ely suddenly finds himself in a mysterious dungeon accessed only through sleeping. Many people are drawn into this dream world, confused and mystified. Those in this dungeon must kill monsters to survive; maybe even each other. Join Ely as he struggles to survive a ruthless environment. What replaces his rest is untold trauma. What seems like an innocent game trope turns into a nightmare. This is a story of tragedy and the path to ultimate power. All in the hopes of an uncertain survival. _________ This fiction has NOT been abandoned. I made a haughty promise earlier to not worry because I'll continue this series, and with things lately, I've only proved myself a liar. Further promises dwindled, and I've lost trust. So many things have been going on recently that I've been booked. I will refrain from making any future guarantees or promises as my busy schedule will stay with me for a long long while. Time for me to actually spend on writing and revising won't appear until at the least November 19. I won't say expect that's when I'll restart, but you can expect expecting it to maybe happen. That's really shallow. But with everything going on, I've let my small reading base down. I apologize. I still stick by my statement though that I won't abandon this project. I plan to stick it to the end, no matter the delay. Most importantly, thank you everyone; readers who both like and dislike my work. I appreciate your time spent on my dumb imagination. Stay toasty my readers in this winter season. Cheers. UPDATE: We're back on track. Thank you for your patience. Any future readers, heyo! Glad you're here. UPDATE 2: So far it's been 21 days since I last uploaded a chapter. The best thing done for any fiction, no matter how good it is, is that it continues, and I have a bad history with that. 1 fiction on hiatus and already more delays with less than 20 chapters in this fiction. I've been very preoccupied with adding more things to do in my life rather than actually committing to any particular thing. That applies primarily to this. I cannot abandon this, as busy as my future looks and will look as I get busier and busier. Someday, I hope, I will be able to sit down and just write. just. write. But for now, I ask for patience. I suppose I'm glad this fiction hasn't picked up so that I don't disappoint too many people if any really. But I need to commit and it's going to happen sometime and sometime soon. No more flowery words. I'll see you later. UPDATE 3: It's very evident I won't be able to pick up this story for a while. With AP Testing, competitions, and other things I am busier than ever. But I must complete this fiction. I have too. Until next time. UPDATE 4: It is now the summer. I owe everyone an apology. Chances are, nobody's around to see this, and that is okay. I only blame myself for this sort of brokenness of a fiction, not that it is actually that bad but I am just exaggerating it for dramatic effect. But what's not exaggerated is the severity of my broken promise. I apologize for my naive claims about finishing a novel that I couldn't finish and that I didn't have the discipline to finish. Nor the skills, really, I was and am still an immature writer. What is to place now? I want to make it clear I understand this is my fault. I will man up to this. And I will accept any criticism. I understand I messed up. Reading Stephen King's On Writing made it clear to me that I need to do two things:Read lots. And write lots.I have done neither. If I don't have the time to read often, how do I expect to write? I need to become more experienced. I need to become a serious writer. So if I want to dream of continuing, I need to at least fulfill both requirements. I enjoy writing. I haven't written seriously outside of school in a while. I planned to write this summer and finish this. I made a lot of promises that I didn't keep.So there's that. I won't enact any self-pity, or be foolishly obsessed. What I did was wrong, and I must deal with it. I let down readers. And I apologize.I hope I can find forgiveness. This is a writer's sin.I won't promise I'll finish this. I intend to finish this, at some point, because writing is fun and I want to write. But how things are don't reflect that. Maybe I'll finish this at some point. Maybe I won't. I won't be naive to make that promise.I thank everyone who has read this if this is the end. If not, and hopefully not, I thank everyone who is to read future chapters. I thank everyone who allowed me to live in the miniscule little dream of mine as I passed my days. I thank everyone who cares enough to read this. Until next time, peace everyone. Thank you. You are all great readers and great people. I wish everyone the best in whatever reading/writing endeavors follow you henceforth.
