Primordial Dimensions Chapter 205

The Old Emperor, Kalur was astonished to hear such a precise question, and upon looking into Shane's eyes he could tell that it was more of a rhetorical question. He believed that Shane would obviously know what would happen in that case.
Initially, Kalur wanted to know what had made Shane ask that question.
However, after he remembered Shane's combat prowess in addition to the answers to the previous questions, the Old Emperor couldn't help but be astonished.
'Does he think too highly of himself or is his confidence justified? He comes from a new race and I told him that it is possible for the system to hand out easier [Mythic] missions for new races… Does he really think that he can attain a perfect foundation?'
Even if Shane was unable to attain a perfect foundation, his current strength and potential were enough to speak volumes about his ambition.
'It might be dangerous if there is really a hostile intermediate race close to them, but it might be worth binding firm ties with him and not only to make a trading agreement with his race…'
"You should already know that this is extremely dangerous. Not only the hostile intermediate-race would try to hunt you down but every race who envies you! In that case, the easiest way to get rid of you would be to attack you outside the Primordial Dimensions.
Your race is still an infant compared to other basic races and your origin planet is the only planet your race inhabits. At least, that's what the Empress told me. As such, other races would start searching for your origin planet and destroy it before anything could happen.
In that case, you would be left alone, without a place to live except the Primordial Dimensions with the rest of your people who were inside the dimensions at the time of the planet's destruction.
After that, your potential would have already decreased by a large margin because there is nobody left to support you.
One's combat strength is definitely important but you won't be able to fight billions of opponents in succession, all by yourself!
As such, you would be less dangerous to your opponents and every single time news about you would resurface on PrimWeb, you would be pursued, which would force you to be on a run for the rest of your life.

This is only the worst-case scenario, but you should know that the possibility is there and it's not something unreasonable!"
Shane frowned because he knew that the Old Emperor's words were certainly true. He was also well aware that Kalur was talking about him and not 'someone' or the possibility of someone being able to attain a perfect foundation.
The difference between prodigies and someone with a perfect foundation would be vast. In Shane's opinion, other races didn't really care about other races' prodigies as long as they weren't strong enough to be a threat to their whole race.
For intermediate-races, this scenario would only occur, after one was to enter the main dimensions and reach a certain realm.
Every race had strong prodigies but it was unclear if they would even survive inside the Primordial Dimension to be worth the effort to search and destroy a new race's origin planet because of a single, strong prodigy.
The Human-race was less than a drop in the ocean for the intermediate races. It was already astonishing that the Dark Ice Elves had begun manipulating a few of mankind's organizations to betray their own kind.
This only showed how deep the hatred between the Dark Ice Elves and Forest Elves was, which was why the former was hellbent on destroying all alliance partners of the Forest Elven!
'If I were to attain a perfect foundation, I won't be able to hide everything, but as long as nobody finds out that I have a mana purity of 100%, it will be fine….even a mana purity of 95% or 98% wouldn't attract other race's attention because they have powerhouses that have attained such a high mana purity as well!'
However, Shane also knew that it would be extremely difficult for him to attain a perfect foundation. And to do that he would have to find and catch a Lesser Starlet Fox fist, which led him to his last question.
"What are the best ways to catch a Lesser Starlet Fox without injuring it?"
Emperor Kalur had expected to hear this question, but he was still astonished to have received so many questions from a young individual belonging to a new basic race that had entered the Primordial Dimensions less than 300 years ago!

As such, he was distracted by his own thoughts and it took him a few seconds before he realized Shane was waiting for an answer.
"Ah...Sorry...You want to know the best ways to catch a Lesser Starlet fox, right? There are two paths you can take if you want to catch one without injuring it! The first one would be to approach it carefully while trying to create amity with it over time by showing that you don't want to hurt it. At the same time, you would have to feed it and so on. Without a special occurrence, this path would take a few years because Lesser Starlet Foxes don't trust strangers easily.
As such, I would say that the second path is better for you even if it might be a little bit expensive for a youth without any financial aid. However, I guess your race provides support to everyone who is performing [Mythic] missions, right?"
Shane frowned upon hearing that the federation supported everyone who was performing [Mythic] missions which were noticed by the Old Emperor.
"Maybe I'm wrong, your race is probably still in its fund gathering phase to awaken the origin planet's mana heart...I forgot that your race is still so young, it has been a long time since I encountered a new, young race...Either way, if you don't have several years to create amity with a Lesser Starlet Fox, you should actively hunt it down by purchasing items that can restrict the space around you. In that case, the Lesser Starlet Fox can't use its spatial affinity well. The stronger the restriction is, the shorter the distance between its spatial portals will become.
As such, I recommend purchasing a [Tier-1 (Extraordinary)] item with an additional [Enhanced seal] ability to restrict space. A [Tier-2 (Rare)] barrier to restrict space will be as good as the former.
Other than that, you should place several hundred traps out to catch a Lesser Starlet fox, if possible with a [Chaotic Space] or [Distorted Space] ability in one of these items. This would prevent the Lesser Starlet Fox from creating a spatial portal to pass the traps without any issue!
If I'm not wrong you told the Empress that you have to catch it alone, which makes the other points I wanted to name invalid…
I think you are already aware of the Lesser Starlet Fox's high mana sensitivity through the information provided in the Primordial Library and the document we sent you but you have to learn a concealment technique or skill.
Otherwise, you won't even be able to see a single Lesser Starlet Fox because they will sense and hide before anything else!"
While Shane had an inkling of the level of difficulty in catching a Lesser Starlet Fox, he was still astonished to hear how high his expenses would be.
Furthermore, he was not even sure if he would be able to catch one on his first try which would mean that he might have to use multiple spatial restriction items.
The Old Emperor noticed that his words soured Shane's mood which caused him to release a calming aura as he said,
"You are still young and the Lesser Starlet Foxes will continue to stay inside the [Starlight-river] dimension for a long time. Just prepare yourself, get to know the surrounding area and then you can attempt to catch a Lesser Starlet fox.
I heard that you have to leave in a week. Use the remaining time to read every single piece of information we have in this library about the Starlight-river dimension and Lesser Starlet foxes before you return to your planet.
After you return, you should have learned a concealment technique and prepared yourself well. We will arrange for a small group of our elementals to show you every single palace in the Starlight river dimension!
Don't feel burdened and take everything as a new experience!
Your race is still young and so are you. Not even ancient races were able to attain a completely perfect foundation until now, so relax and take everything as an experience even if you might fail a few times!"

Pocket Dungeon Lite
Based on the Pocket Dungeon original novel made by Stuckin (I asked for his permission beforehand). I do not know if this could count as a fanfiction as I made up many elements on the go so, for now, I will list this as an original but if Stuckin-sama would like me to change it I will be fine with doing so. This is somewhat of a self-insert but I made sure not to make the MC to OP. Also, the creator of the cover is Vurguy I tried to contact him to ask for permission but couldn't due to technical issues please go support him on Deviant Art and I don't own the picture so if he wants me to take it down than I am completely okay with doing so. As I am an improving author, I am glad to receive any constructive criticism or critical review I just hope that everyone will give me a chance before they yell at me for something or at least tell me what made them angry so I know what the issue is and can figure out how to deal with it. For now, my schedule is 1-2 chapters a week and if I am busy with either work or school 1-3 chapters every 2 weeks. I expect a bunch of chapters at the beginning around 5 or so and for me to continue from there. I will try my best to keep some chapters in storage for any time where I can't write for whatever reason. I will continue to change this part of the synopsis if anything changes in my update schedule. - From a thoughtful Author Pocket Dungeon is a widespread interstellar game that has captivated the attention of many races and civilizations. Nowadays in the 2300s anyone not living under a rock would grow up with a dungeon and learn to manage it over time as they make mistakes along the way. But as all things go there is always an exception and this exception can be found in Nadezhda Ledopad who had an overprotective family that didn't let him interact with anything but those they deemed worthy and safe. This overprotectiveness caused them to forbid him from gaining a pocket dungeon as they knew with his intelligence and specialties in certain fields he would become a strong dungeon master, quickly. This was something his family was very much against as they knew that his competitiveness and duty to maintain the Ledopad family's reputation would push him to win in the competitions that he would inevitably get invited too. This all changed when Nadezh graduated high school and moved to the Celestial Plane capital star as a Prodigal student in planetary conservation (major) and revival of species through DNA transferal (minor). His brother in all but blood Tet schemed to get him into Pocket Dungeons when they got there as no one would keep Nadezh from playing. Nadezh excited to join his peers in this famous game looked forward to doing so. But with this one decision, many futures changed and the Fates laughed as people of strong destinies meet together on this plane. Warning - This will probably contain LGBT+ relationships. You have been warned, I will not tolerate stupidity to the ninth degree in the comment section and I hope that people can be logical enough to GO AWAY if they don't like this kind of thing. If you don't feel comfortable with mature or explicit scenes I will put a warning in the chapters or parts with such and I just wanted all of you to know that this will be a long novel as with most novel I will write in the future so don't expect a deep romantic relationship anytime soon.

Skinwalker / War Chief
A System Apocalypse Fan Fiction I started reading Litrpg about two years ago. I fell in love with Tao Wong's System Apocalypse series. He is an excellent writer and I loved his world building, but when the second series arc went elsewhere It kind of lost me a little. I wanted to create a little parallel world that was very familiar to his fans but skewed off in a different, darker direction. If you haven't read Tao's work, you're missing out! Look him up on Amazon and read The System Apocalypse. One of the best in the genre.

Yet that answer should be obvious. * * * This is a first time writing attempt. I have no idea what's going to happen or where this story is headed.
