Loving A STRANGER Chapter 63

The delighted girl walked beside Ethan Parker, singing along. Ethan walked fast, his long legs strolling so that Kylie could only keep up if she trotted.
Luckily, Kylie was energetic and wasn't out of breath. When she was just about to show off her intelligence regarding what had happened, the phone in her pocket vibrated.
Kylie took it out; her eyes suddenly rounded in shock when she read the message: "You've forbidden me just to show up. But now, it is you who have shown up before me. Let's meet!"
Kylie looked around in alarm, like a groundhog. There were so many tourists here today. What if…
Seeing Ethan walk a little farther away, she quickly replied with a message: "You asshole. I forbid you to find me!"
The other person responded within a second: "I'm 300 meters ahead. If you don't show up within 5 minutes, I will let our relationship out in the open."
Kylie raised her head and looked forward. There were even more people on the road ahead! She swiftly stepped towards Ethan, with one hand pressing against her stomach. "I need to answer nature's call. You can go ahead. I'll catch up with you later."
Then Kylie turned around and ran away before Ethan could say a word. Watching Kylie run away so fast, Ethan was worried that she might actually have a stomachache.
In the public washroom, Kylie took out her makeup from her backpack. Although she wasn't a professional makeup artist, she was totally capable of making herself look like an African girl.
She put on her makeup, then loosened her hair, making several dreadlocks, then put her sportswear on inside out.
When she walked outside of the washroom, she immediately saw Ethan. He must have been worried about her because he was waiting outside the washroom.
Kylie purposefully walked by him, but Ethan didn't look at her even once, which meant that she had disguised herself well.
Actually, it wasn't hard for Kylie to find the right location, because there was a large group of fans, all wearing the same color, about 100 meters ahead.

Bunches of balloons were placed along both sides of the road. The organized fans were quietly waiting for their idol's coming.
Kylie stood on her toes to find out that a reality show was being recorded not too far away. Before she could walk ahead, organized slogans sounded right next to her ears:
"If it is possible, we will miss Will every day!"
"Will, Will. We love you!"
"Will's the best! Will's the sexiest!"
Kylie blocked her ears with her fingers. There were so many fans. If the asshole said something inappropriate in public, she would be ruined for life!
A thunderous scream followed the slogans. Right at that moment, the fans automatically stepped to both sides, leaving the middle passage empty. A man showed up.
The man could be described as stunningly handsome, with curly brown hair and a pair of light purple eyes that were accentuated by his right-sided blue-diamond earring. He smiled slightly to the people around him, which instantly brought about a loud scream, as though a bomb was thrown into the crowd.
"Will, Will. We love you!"
"Oh, my dear! Look over here, please!"
"Oh! He's looking over here! He's looking at me!"
There was another round of slogans, bursting out beside Kylie's ears. The man, William Woolf, was the famous host of an entertainment talk show.
His classic TV show, Weekend Talk-Show, was number one in the charts. Because of his handsome and ageless appearance, his fans had titled him: "Will, the God."
He had shown up in Connell this time for an outdoor reality show recording. Kylie rubbed her temple and started to shove through to the front. "Please, please let me pass. I'm here for my god, all the way from Africa…" Several fan club managers noticed her and immediately yelled: "Guys, make some space for the fan all the way from Africa…"
Kylie was shoving through while staying with her "strong accent": "OMG, please let me pass."

A college student looked at her respectfully. "You've come to meet Will from further afield. You must be a huge fan."
Kylie caught her breath, then replied: "I'm a university student, and I've worked part-time so hard to save enough money to meet Will. I really cherish this opportunity."
"Guys, let the foreign fan meet our idol, to show off the spirit of internationalism!" a female college student yelled. It was true that Will's fans had excellent manners; more and more people helped Kylie pass through once the spirit of internationalism was proposed.
When Kylie was standing in front of William, her lips were shaking with excitement, and the tears brimming in her eyes almost fell down. But, she would never let the tears fall down and ruin her makeup.
William Woolf stared at her with a strange expression. "You're…" he began.
"I, I ..I really want to…" Kill you! Kylie thought.
William called out to his many fans. He simply wanted to ruin her! Kylie rushed towards him, and hugged him tightly, pinching a small amount of skin on the back of his waist, so that it hurt severely. William frowned with pain, and recognized who this African was…
"I can't believe you love me so much!" He hugged the person in his arms, and patted her on the head, saying quietly, so that only Kylie could hear: "Can't sleep without seeing me, huh?"
Kylie slapped his back with strength. "William, don't worry about me. You'll stay in my heart forever…"
Kylie wished he was dead! William smiled. "No worries. I'll live to be a hundred with your love." Then he sharply pulled Kylie back, just when she wanted to leave. "Since you're already here, be my guest then. I have an assignment today."
"An assignment?" Kylie tried to get away from him, but William was much stronger than her and tightly seized her by the wrist.
"Yes. Will has an assignment today; please help him." The agent knew what was going on between them and explained the situation with a smile. "The recording location is right ahead. Will's assignment is to find a person among the tourists and has then played a finger-guessing game. If you win, you can get a hug from Will."
"WOW… I want Will's hug too…"
"Will, please pick me! I want your hug!"
The fans became excited, and the crowd was in an uproar. William grabbed Kylie's hand and raised it up high in the air. "Let's pick this foreign fan, who came all the way from Africa, alright? Let her feel the love of our fans."
Kylie clenched her teeth with anger but felt amusement in her heart when she was pulled to the recording area.
The guests were divided into two groups. Kylie and William were in the same group, and they were up against the other group. The winner would be safe while the loser would be randomly punished with either a hot lid falling on their head, or cold water pouring down their body, or flour spraying on their face, and so on.
Coincidentally, the leading actor from Blossom, Tim Kerry, was in the other group. Because Khloe Finch had abruptly joined the Tea House crew, the shooting of Blossom was delayed for an unlimited time.
To rebuild his reputation and to increase publicity, he had to use a personal relationship to get onto this episode of the reality show.
When he saw William, he called out with respect: "Mr. Woolf, it's so nice to meet you!"
William wore a faint smile. "Nice to meet you too." The two men were seated onstage while Kylie and another tourist were standing on the battlefield.

Rekindle
My Newest, and at the same time, Oldest novel. This is a Rewrite of my very first novel that I begun when I was just starting out. It follows the story of Mark Floyd, a broken man who once tried to do what he thought was right... only to be stabbed in the back and thrown away. Now, pulled into a conflict that spans time and space, Mark has a choice to make; Stand up once more, even if it means facing an unknowable future, or let the Embers of his heart die and sink back into darkness. ----------------------------------- “For gold is tried in the fire, and acceptable men in the furnace of adversity”. Once part of a Special Ops team in the US Army, Mark Floyd thought he had seen the worst that Humanity had to offer. That was until his final mission, one that would leave him a broken and shattered man, betrayed by the Country he served, and abandoned by society as a whole. His dreams filled with nightmares of the ones he failed to protect, mind and memories clouded by booze and more, Mark finds himself stumbling through life without purpose or desire. Life isn't done with Mark yet, however. For as long as even a single ember remains in a persons heart, here is still yet hope for the flames of Passion and Hope to be Rekindled. When the dying embers of Mark's heart catches the eyes of a Being far beyond his understanding, Mark finds himself thrown into a situation not even his years of training could prepare him for. Will this new chance be Mark's hope at both Redemption and Recompense? Or will it simply be the final nail in the coffin for a man already dead to the World? [This is a rework of my very first story. The general story will remain the same, however a few details have been tweaked, the chapters have be Edited better and some chapters have been broken down into smaller chunks for better flow and consistency. The biggest change will be to the System itself; It will be a lot less "Game-like", meaning no stats, levels or similar aspect, though skills will still be present in the form of "Programs". Instead, It'll focus more on the Sigil's nature as super-computers and how they change the world around them. This should make for a much more "natural" and less info-dumpy system.
