"What the fuck are you doing?" Ethan shouted as he struggled with Kylie for the wheel.

"Isn't it obvious what I'm doing?" Kylie laughed. "I am mad as hell. Look, even my lips are shaking!"

"Fine, then," Ethan relented, as he let go of the wheel. "If you want to die, then I will follow you. Didn't you hear me when I said that I would follow you through heaven or hell?"

Kylie had the Knight XV running at top speed, and, due to the road conditions, it was fishtailing like mad as it crossed back and forth into oncoming traffic. Luckily for them, the highway had been well maintained, and, other than them, there were almost no other cars on it.

Up ahead, Kylie saw a lot of plastic cones on the road. In a tone of voice that sounded insane, she shouted, "Yippee Ki yay, mother fucker!" as she plowed through them. Laughing, she finally brought the car to a stop by the side of the road. She looked over at Ethan and was amused to see that his face had turned a light shade of green as if he were about to puke.

Mimicking Garth Algar, she pulled a small bag out of the garbage and offered it to him. "If you need to spew," she giggled, "spew into this!"

"Fuck off!" Ethan cursed as he pushed her hand away. With his other hand, he pushed the door open, leaned his head out, and spewed onto the highway. Once he was done, he turned back to Kylie, pinched her chin, and stared at the bruises on her forehead. "Are you fucking crazy?" he cried.

"Crazy is as crazy does," she replied, still giggling. "I am crazy, but it is you that made me this way!"

Ethan sighed as he let her chin go. He was furious, but he felt like he lacked the energy or desire to fight with her. He looked out the window. He could see that the air was cold, but it was also still. There was no traffic or wind. Everything was quiet but for the sound of their breathing. Ethan leaned forward and turned on the radio, which was set to an oldies station. The Cavallies came on with their classic hit single, Last Kiss, and he began to sing along: "When I woke up, the rain was pouring down. People were standing all around. Something warm was running in my eyes. But somehow I found my baby that night…"

Annoyed, Kylie flipped the radio off. "I hate the fucking Cavaliers," she growled, "and this song is too depressing. The car seems to be fine, so let's just go back to the hospital and pretend that none of this happened."

Ethan scowled at her and said, "We will do as you've suggested, but I am going to drive."

Kylie heard an angry tone in Ethan's voice, and she grabbed his arm. "You are a bastard," she cried, "and a liar. You said that you loved me, but you don't even trust me to drive. Why are you being so harsh with me?"

As she spoke, Kylie began to cry hard. Tears were running like torrents from her eyes. Snot was streaming from her nose. Her breath was coming in short hitches, and her body was trembling, practically vibrating.

Ethan swept her into his arms and rubbed her back. "Let it all out," he told her gently. "Cry if you need to cry. I am here for you."

At last, Kylie pulled away and swept the tears from her face with her shirt sleeve. She looked at Ethan. His collar was damp, and his face looked concerned. "After all that I just put you through," she finally said, "I can easily understand why you wouldn't want me to drive. I have been acting crazy, but I am not. I promise. I am only crazy for you. So, if it makes you feel better if you drive, then I will allow you to drive."

Smiling, Ethan leaned forward to kiss her. He kissed her on the face, chin, neck, ear lobes, and mouth. He opened her mouth with his own, slipped his tongue into her mouth, and sucked her tongue into his. After a few moments, Kylie pulled away and asked Ethan if he believed her.

"I believe you," Ethan whispered, "but you still need to be punished."

"If you want to punish me," Kylie replied, "Then take me home. If you do not take me there, right now, then I will begin to punish you for your tardiness."

"Fair enough," Ethan laughed as he got out of the car so that they could switch seats. As they passed each other in front of the car, Kylie's eye caught sight of the gigantic bulge in his pants. She stopped him momentarily. She slipped his hands into his pants and began to stroke his erection with one hand. With her other hand, she brought his hand under her shirt and up to her right breast.
