Loving A STRANGER Chapter 329

In an intensive care unit at the Central Hospital.
Nate lowered his head, standing by the patient's bed. "Ethan, at least have a bite please."
Ethan seemed extremely displeased ever since he was awake. He even didn't give a smile to the doctor, who came to check his body.
Who had annoyed him?
"Ethan, I promise nobody entered this patient room last night!" Nate raised three fingers to make a promise and said with affirmation. "Stephen did come, but he was here alone and just gave a glance by the window."
When Nate just finished his sentences, Ethan seemed more displeased than ever, and there was an obvious coldness in his eyes.
He was in a state of half unconsciousness last night, but he clearly remembered that Kylie had come to visit him. However, when he woke up this morning, there was only an empty infusion bottle in his hand.
Nate wanted to complain that such a woman like Kylie, who didn't have any sense of loyalty wasn't worth Ethan's affection, but when he just opened his mouth, someone knocked on the door.
Nate turned and saw the people outside from the window.
Kylie and Stephen were standing there right by the window.
The door was pushed open later, and Dinah smiled at Nate, "Is Ethan awake?" Ethan couldn't see the window, but he felt disappointed when he heard Dinah's voice, so he directly closed his eyes.
Stephen, who followed Dinah behind, cleared his throat and asked, "Ethan, do you feel better now?" However, when Stephen just said it, the patient room fell into a weirdly cold atmosphere.
Nate rubbed his palms against each other and rolled his eyes at Kylie when he noticed she was leaning against Stephen's stomach.
Why is she here now? Why didn't she come last night when Ethan was in the most critical period?
Kylie understood Nate didn't want to see her, so she didn't step forward, but seemed impatient and wanted to leave right away.

Dinah glanced at Ethan, then looked to Stephen. Stephen frowned a little, then gave her a hint to change the cold atmosphere.
Only she could do that right now.
Dinah walked to the bedside and checked the infusion bag. "Did the doctor come this morning? What did the doctor say?" Nate snorted in annoyance, aiming to let Kylie hear it. "Ethan's fine, and he won't die!"
Kylie put the flowers and fruits on the table, then lightly pulled Stephen's arm. "Didn't you say we're going to shop together later? When can we leave?"
Stephen was struck dumb for a second, then looked to Ethan with embarrassment. "Ethan, I'm sorry. We gotta go now, and I'll revisit you later."
"You can come here alone, and do not come with someone who's not welcome here!" Nate said.
Kylie gave him a glance, then raised her jaw with pride. "Do you think I'm willing to be here?"
After that, she pulled Stephen walking away without hesitation.
"What did you..." Nate wanted to argue with her, but they were gone soon.
From Kylie walking in till she left, Ethan didn't look at her at all, but his hands clenched into fists under the quilt.
Dinah touched the food on the table, then said to Nate, "Nate, go to warm these dishes up. They're all cold now."
"Hey! You're not my boss!" Nate was mad.
Why was everyone used to giving him order now?
However, the food was really cold now, and he wasn't willing to see Ethan being hungry, so he took the dishes walking out in annoyance.
Dinah immediately approached Ethan with some fruits in their hands. "Ethan, Kylie, and I bought you some fruits. Which one do you want to eat first?" Ethan finally turned to look at her.
Once he noticed the biggest fruit in Dinah's hands, he was cheered up. "Durian?" Kylie knew how much he hated those fruits with an acrid smell, so it was impossible that she would buy durian for him.

Dinah laughed a little. The two did know each other so well.
She opened the durian and gave it to Ethan. There was an empty space at a corner of the durian, and a piece of note was lying there.
Ethan gave her a glance. "You can leave now." "Sure." Dinah nodded, then walked to the outside and guarded the door.
Even though it was painful, Ethan still sat up at once to read the note.
Recover soon. I miss you in bed.
After reading the note, the man's face lit up in happiness.
He knew Kylie did come last night, and she said she had to go back to Stephen's side in order to find out the truth.
She's really a good actress! Ethan thought to himself.
His long slim fingers touched every word on the note countless times before he put it into his pocket.
When Nate came back with warm food, he smelt something extremely unpleasant and pinched his nose without hesitation.
Dinah followed him walking inside, and pinched her nose too because the smell was too strong.
However, the man who was lying on the bed seemed calm and quiet.
Nate stepped to the patient bed, and the smell was growingly strong. Is Ethan...
He put the warm food down and held his breath, saying, "Ethan, the food is warm now, and you can have some."
After that, he instantly ran to a corner, then took out his phone to call a leading doctor.
"What's wrong with you? How did you treat Lord Ethan? Do you know he's incontinent now? Ouch!"
Nate suddenly felt something hit the back of his head by a great force. He wiped it and saw blood on his hand. Who did it?
He turned around and noticed a durian shell shaking on the ground laughing at him.
And the man lying on the patient bed was glaring at him.
Nate's stupid behavior amused Dinah. She covered her mouth, sliding out of the patient room to laugh out loud.
"Um... You don't need to come now. It's fine." Nate hung up at once, walking to Ethan with a smile on his face to please the man. "Ethan, don't you hate durian? I thought you..."
A cold glance fell on Nate, and the man opened his mouth, "How is everything going with Ken now?"
"Very well," Nate said, but he still couldn't tolerate the durian's acrid smell. "Ethan, I think we need to air this room. If you want to eat durian, I can buy you a durian truck when you leave the hospital."
After that, Nate ran to the outside like he was escaping away.
Kylie was so troublesome!
At the outside of the patient room, Dinah was still laughing. "Aren't you an idiot? If Lord Ethan can move, he must have killed you! Ha-ha, Ha-ha!"
"Why didn't you tell me?" Nate seized Dinah's collar.
"I didn't know you could be so dumb..." Dinah said, but suddenly her smile froze on her face because Nate was staring straight at her neck.
Damn it!
Nate noticed the hickeys around her neck!
"Who did it? I take you as my own younger sister, and I'll kill the man who did that to you. Tell me his name!" Nate loosened his hand and said to Dinah seriously.
"I don't want to be your younger sister!" Dinah snorted in annoyance. "It's none of your business!"
