Nate was already at the door, and he stopped for a second when he heard Stephen saying that, but strode away at once.

There was a faint smile on Stephen's lips. He did his best to live his head and said to Ethan, "You're the only happy man among us. You can get what you want, but we? We can never get what we want..."

Ethan pressed a bell, and a waiter came in soon.

"Sir, may I help?"

"Two bottles of whiskey."

"No problem."

The waiter sent two bottles of whiskey inside and cleaned the broken pieces of glass on the ground out.

Ethan poured two shot glasses of whiskey for Stephen and himself in person.

"This is to thank you for taking good care of Kylie," he said and drank it up.

Stephen remained silent with a faint smile on his face, then took the shot glass before him and drank it up.

Ethan filled the shot glasses for them. "And this is to thank you for you've given a safe Kylie back to me."

Stephen was struck dumb for a second, but still didn't say a word, and drank the whiskey up.

He drank it like he was drinking water. After successive three shot glasses, he stood up all of a sudden and strode to the washroom.

Before he could close the door, he threw up at the toilet.

Ethan, who always stayed clean, walked to him at a slow pace, then patted his back for a while before giving him a glass of water.

Stephen didn't raise his head because his eyes were full of tears now.

Ethan hated him, but Ethan chose to forgive him for the sake of Kylie.

If he continued to interfere in their relationship, he would be a shameless backstabber.

Stephen fell slowly down to the ground. He held the toilet and said in a low voice with the help of alcohol, "Ethan, let me say it again. If Kylie can't be happy with you, I'll take her away even though I'll take the bad guy."

Stephen opened his eyes in dizziness and found himself lying on a sofa in Royal Private Club, while Dinah was playing a mobile game aside.

"You're finally awake." Dinah gave him a glance, then continued to play her game.

"What time is it now?" Stephen sat up, rubbing his temples.

Dinah was busy playing the game. "Probably, it's past four."

Stephen took the glass of water on the table. When he was about to drink it, he asked again. "It's already afternoon?"

He remembered he came here when Royal Private Club just opened in the early morning, and he didn't expect he would drink all day.

Dinah snorted, "It's four am."

Stephen's body stiffened a little, then gave Dinah a quick glance. Did she stay by my side for a whole night?

"We stayed outside all night."

Stephen was quiet for a while, then said, "We played cards together in a friend's place."

Dinah pointed at Stephen and pinched her nose. "You smell like you've soaked in alcohol. She'll know you've drunk a lot once you appear."

Stephen gave her a glance, then took the bag of clean clothing, walking to the washroom to take a shower.

Kylie felt satisfied reading Dinah's messages when someone knocked on the door of her room.

"Mrs. Parker, someone wants to see you." It was Lucy.

Kylie put on a coat, then opened the door. "Who?"

"A man in a khaki trench coat." Lucy moved her hand in the air. "Probably that high, and he's wearing a pair of glasses."

Hearing that, Kylie got nervous.
