Loving A STRANGER Chapter 367

"I don't. I don't cry..." Ken whimpered and raised a smile facing Kylie.
"What do you need? I can help you," Kylie said to him in a low voice.
Ken shook his hand. "I came here not for vacation." He smiled, then added, "I just feel so fretful without cigarettes."
Kylie laughed. It was effortless for her to deal with it.
The correctional officer came over to handcuff Ken, and he was about to be brought inside. Ken seized the last seconds saying to Kylie, "There is a bankbook in my pillowcase. Tell Faith to have it. I can't give her anything else, but I'll compensate her after I leave here."
Ken was already pushed to the door by the prison guard, but he struggled not to move a step ahead. He turned to look at Kylie.
It was an unforgettable, heartbreaking look. "Kylie, I'll chase you again in the next life!"
When Kylie walked out, she told Faith what Ken just had said to her, and they came to Ken's house together later.
"Oh, I forgot to ask him for the key." Kylie patted her forehead.
Faith smiled, drawing a key from her pocket. "He gave me a key to his apartment before he was put in jail. He asked me to clean his place."
"He's a wretch!" Kylie said, and they began to laugh out loud.
To Kylie's surprise, Ken's apartment was very clean, and there were posters of her all around the walls, which was a little embarrassing.
"He's your big fan." Faith seemed to be used to it. She walked into Ken's bedroom. "I've changed his pillowcase, but I didn't find anything."
It turned out Ken's apartment could be so clean was all because of Faith.
Kylie followed her walking in, and they checked his pillowcase again, but still found nothing.
"Does he have another pillow?" Kylie asked, pinching her jaw.

Faith thought for a while, then rounded her eyes all of a sudden. "There is an unopened pillow in his closet!"
She took it out and soon found a bankbook in the pillowcase.
"Jesus, how did he manage to save so much money?" Faith gave Kylie the bankbook.
Kylie counted the zeros. "More than two hundred thousand dollars!"
Ken was just a hoodlum, and he seemed to be rich sometimes, but actually, he didn't have much money.
He must have blackmailed Khloe for most of his savings.
"It isn't important how he manages to save so much money. The money is yours now." Kylie gave the bankbook back to Faith.
Faith seized it in her hand, lowering her head in silence for a long time. "I'll be happy, right?"
"Of course you will." Kylie hugged Faith again.
They hugged for a while till Faith calmed herself down. "Stay here with me. I'll cook for you."
"Sure!" Kylie nodded. "Do you want to move in here? I can help you find a good moving company, and you can go back to help me with my company after it's settled."
"Well, you're really a good boss." Faith smiled. "Thanks!"
When Faith walked into the kitchen, Kylie called Lucy. "Lucy, I won't have dinner at home."
"Mrs. Parker, the man, came this afternoon again," Lucy said. "I went to do grocery shopping, and I saw him looking around at the door when I walked back."
"Did he say anything?" Kylie was getting more worried.
"He walked away once he saw me." Lucy was also anxious. "Mrs. Parker, shall we tell Mr. Parker? I've read the news that some fans could be very crazy."
"I'll tell him myself when I'm back," Kylie said. "Lucy, remember to avoid the man if he shows up once more."
"I understand, Mrs. Parker," Lucy said.

Faith walked out of the kitchen and heard a little of their talk on the phone.
"To avoid whom?" Faith asked. Who dared harass Kylie given Lord Ethan was her husband?
Kylie sighed, then told Faith everything. "I always have this feeling that the mysterious man has a certain connection with Dora."
"Didn't you tell me Lord Ethan has sent her abroad?" Faith gave a knife and fork to Kylie and poured a glass of fresh orange juice for her.
"I don't know..." Kylie had a taste of the food, then gave her a thumbs-up. "It's so delicious!"
"Ha-ha, I know." Faith smiled and clinked glasses with Kylie. "Do you need me to have a check abroad when I finish dealing with my things here?"
"Forget it. You can't meet her even though you go abroad." Kylie shook her head.
Ethan wouldn't hide Dora in a random hospital, but a concealed place. If Faith went abroad to find Dora, not only would she fail, but her actions would also arouse Lord Ethan's suspicion.
"What's your next step?" Faith asked.
Kylie wouldn't stop working just because of pregnancy, so she said, "I feel guilty that I was absent from the reality show held by Hamorna TV. Help me contact Nina once Dangerous World is in theaters, and sign a contract with her with the same pay."
"You're so generous." Faith smiled.
Kylie's pay now was much higher than before.
Let alone when the film was playing in theaters, Kylie must gain much attention afterward, and there would be countless job opportunities for her to choose. It was already a great favor that Kylie did Nina by taking part in her reality show, but Kylie still charged her a low pay.
"She's my friend, after all." Kylie had a drink of the juice, then asked all of a sudden, "How is the actress under your guidance now?"
Faith put down her knife and fork. "Not bad. She mentioned to you all the time no matter whose show she was on. I think she's a promising star."
"How about Lily?"
"She? She loves being a model ever since she became the spokesperson of a famous brand."
While they were chatting, Lucas called Kylie.
"Kylie, I found some information about the female reporter!"
"Have you eaten?" Kylie asked all of a sudden.
"Not yet. I've been busy all day." It seemed Lucas was walking fast, and he was a little out of breath.
"I'll send you an address. Take a taxi and join us for dinner. Faith cooked it herself, and you won't have anything if you're late," Kylie said, then gave her phone to Faith. Faith then sent the address of this apartment to Lucas.
In case that he could only have food residue, Lucas arrived within 15 minutes and knocked on the door.
"Oh, now I understand why you've been absent for so many days. You have a new apartment. I thought you killed yourself after being dumped," Lucas said once he walked in.
Kylie rolled her eyes at him. "Have a seat, then tell me what you've found."
Lucas didn't care whether Faith would mind it or not, taking her glass of juice and drinking it up at a time. "Great juice. I want another glass."
Seeing Faith walking into the kitchen, Lucas asked Kylie in a quiet voice, "Can I tell you in front of Faith?"
"Sure, Faith is part of our team."
Faith wasn't dumb, so she put down the glass walking away, but was stopped by Kylie. "Don't leave. Stay."
Lucas then said, "I've done my investigation, and I found she isn't a reporter at all."
