Kylie thought to herself that she came here just to learn not to accept awards, so there was no need to congratulate her.

Even though she still thanked Sally. "Thank you, Sally! I'll visit you once I'm home."

"I'll be out of the hospital after two days. You're welcome to my home!" Sally said. "My husband said that you're a lucky girl, and you can achieve more than me in the future."

"Ha-ha, thanks," Kylie said, and the door was pushed open at the same time.

Ethan showed up.

Kylie stood up at once and quickly walked to welcome him. The man saw her approaching and slightly bowed to kiss her.

After the kiss, Kylie said on the phone, "See you next time, Sally. I'll visit you at your place when I'm back!"

"Great, see you then!" Sally said.

After hanging up the call, Kylie stood on her tiptoes to kiss the man again.

Ethan hugged her waist and kissed her for a long time.

"I miss you so much," Kylie whispered after their lips parted.

"Me too." Ethan tightened his arms and enjoyed tasting her soft lips.

Faith walked out with dishes in her hands. "Kylie, the... oh." She saw them kissing and walked back to the kitchen at once.

Lucas also disappeared from the living room as fast as he could and hid in the kitchen, along with Faith, to share a dish together.

"Eat more, so we can order less when we leave later," Lucas said while he was swallowing down food.

"Since when you become so mean?" Faith rolled her eyes at him.

"Don't you know Kylie always lives an economical life? I learned from her," Lucas said while kept eating fast.

Ever since Kylie became Lord Ethan's woman, the level of her life standard had rapidly increased. However, she was still a very economical person and always looked around for the best buys.

Probably Kylie was a little mean, but she had none of the vanity so often associated with other beautiful actresses in the entertainment industry.

Lucas had followed Kylie's lead for a long time, so he became economical too.

Ethan hugged Kylie to the sofa and sucked her wet lips. "Are you hungry? What do you want to have? I'll cook for you." Kylie laid lazily in his arms. "I don't want to eat food, but you."

Ethan pinched her jaw and beamed. "Then I'll chase them away, so we can have enough in bed all day."

"You're so naughty!" Kylie pouted. "Is it alright that you come here and leave your company behind?"

"Don't take me wrong. I come here for business."

Kylie pursed her lips. She thought Ethan came here aiming to see her, but it turned out she was wrong. No matter what, Kylie still felt happy that he was here.

"How long do you need to deal with your business here?" Kylie asked. She wanted him to keep her company after the International Film Festival was over.

"Three days for business, and three days for personal affairs," he said.

Kylie nodded but didn't ask further about his personal affairs. "Why did you book the hotel owned by Star's family? Aren't you afraid..."

Ethan smiled. "Exactly because this is his hotel, he won't hurt you here." He kissed her shoulder. "And, he doesn't want you to be in danger for the time being."

"Are you still good friends?"

"Nope, we're enemies in love."

Hearing that, Kylie giggled.

Kylie didn't have much appetite on the way here, but she suddenly was so starving after seeing Ethan. "I want to eat sweet-and-sour ribs!"

"No problem." Ethan gently put her down on the sofa. "Have a rest for a while. I'll cook for you." He stood up and walked to the kitchen.

Faith and Lucas walked out of it at the same time.

"Lord Ethan, Faith burned the food," Lucas explained with a smile. "Don't worry. We already ate them up for the sake of Kylie's health. Please cook some for Kylie."

Faith glared at Lucas, then smiled at Ethan. "We won't bother you any longer."

When they just walked to the door, Ethan said in his deep voice, "Leave with your baggage too."

"What?" Lucas was struck dumb for a second.

"Go get your room cards at the reception," Ethan said, then walked into the kitchen.

"I knew we'd be chased away." Lucas pushed his suitcase out.

Kylie was totally relaxed now and soon fell asleep.

In her dream, a cute little boy was standing under the blue sky with lots of white clouds, and a little puppy was sitting beside him.

She, instead, sat on a rocking chair in the distance, sipping a cup of coffee, reading a book, looking up at the child from time to time.

The boy was simply a miniature version of Ethan. He had a small face with beautiful features but didn't smile at all. His two small hands were in his trouser pockets, and he was staring at a bone on the ground.

"Eat it," the little boy said.

The little puppy whimpered, looking up at him. It seemed it wasn't willing to do so.

"Eat it," the little boy said again.

"Woof!" The little puppy stood up all of a sudden and ran to Kylie.

When Kylie just flipped a page of the book, she felt a corner of her clothes was gently pulled. "Mommy!"

She closed the book and bowed her head. "Babe..."

However, she suddenly got stuck in the throat after saying just one word. The little boy in front of her had the same face as Stephen!

"Ah!" Kylie woke up from her dream and abruptly sat up on the sofa.

She moved too fast and felt the pain in her stomach.

Kylie glanced at the kitchen and saw Ethan was still busy cooking. She quickly walked to the bathroom and washed her face with cold water.

She looked at herself in the mirror. Her face was so pale, and her breath became unsteady.

Why did she had such a strange dream?

Kylie was growingly doubtful whether she was still under the hypnosis of Stephen. If not, why did she dream her child resembled Stephen?

Her arms pressed on the basin, making a crisp sound.

Kylie took a towel to wipe the water on her face and cleaned the bracelet at once. She wasn't used to wearing jewelry yet, and almost damaged the bracelet.

"Kylie?" Ethan called her name.

"Coming!" she said and patted her cheeks to cheer herself up. "I'm in the bathroom."

"Come here now," Ethan said.

Kylie walked out to him and sat by the dining table. Seeing her favorite dish on the table, she threw up at short notice.

"What's wrong?" Ethan got nervous. "Do you feel uncomfortable?"

"It's fine. Pregnant women often feel like vomiting." Kylie smiled to comfort him.

However, she remembered she also felt like vomiting once Stephen approached her when she had been with Stephen on the boat.
