Loving A STRANGER Chapter 526

"Don't you dare do that!" Kylie raised her voice. "If you dare hurt him, I'll kill myself."
Stephen squinted and looked dangerous while staring at her,
He wanted to vent his anger at her, but he loved her too much to do so. He wanted to be violent, but she was pregnant now.
Whoever fell in deeper love, he or she lost the game.
Stephen loved Kylie so much that he couldn't lose his temper before her face.
He abruptly loosened his hand and took a long breath several times, facing Kylie with his back, but he was still mad.
Kylie rubbed her painful wrist and relaxed a little.
She said that to test Stephen because she wasn't sure how tolerant he was towards her.
"Star, why are you doing all of this?" Kylie opened her mouth, and her gentle voice rang. Tears began to gather at the corner of her eyes.
Stephen looked at her, wearing a sad expression, "You should know the answer to that question. Do you want to hear it from my mouth? I only have you in my life. Ethan lives a good life, and everyone loved him. He had everything in a quick snap. Our biological parents loved him, and nobody cares about me. Kylie, he is stronger than me, and he had everyone's support, including the entire werewolf-vampire clan. I pretended all of my life and my existence wasn't significant at all. The moment Ethan told me to take care of you ten years ago, when he had to leave for a while, I told myself you're the only person who I could have to.
Hearing Stephen's words, it brought heavy emotion to Kylie, and her heart sank in pain while tears were streaming down from her eyes. " Star, you knew that I love him so much, yet you force me to be with you,"
"Should I care whom you love most?" His voice became gentle.
Kylie was stunned, and she wiped her tears off. Tired of listening to his reason, she said, "I need to go back to work this afternoon."
She should leave now.
Stephen turned around with his arms pressed against the car door. "I already gave you the medicine; when can you fulfill your promise?"

Kylie bit her lips. "When will you finish the deal with Tory?"
Stephen smiled. "In three days. I'll pick you up at the same place."
Kylie thought to herself that her part in Oh, Mother, could also be finished after three days. "Sure, see you in three days!"
Kylie gave the ointment to the housekeeper once she was back in the Finch family's house.
"Remember to apply this ointment to Ethan on your own. Never allow another person to do that," Kylie said to the housekeeper.
The housekeeper nodded. "Mrs. Parker, Lord Ethan is much better now, and scabs are forming on his back." He stopped for a second, then looked at Kylie's hand. "How about your injury?"
Kylie shook her hand. "It's not a big deal. You don't need to worry about me."
After that, Kylie went to pack up some clothing and told the housekeeper that she would work overtime at the show set.
If she were really going to leave Ethan, she would rather leave him from the show set instead of their sweet home.
It was already 10 pm, but Ethan was still absent. Kylie told the housekeeper to put her suitcase into the car, and she pushed the door of the babies' room open.
Ethan assembled everything in the room.
Kylie touched the wall padding with the left hand and covered her belly with another. "Babies, I'm afraid you can't have fun here in the future."
She whimpered, and the picture of Ethan assembling things up according to the instruction emerged in her sight again and again. She should have helped him back then so that she could have a good memory with him here, at least.
There were all kinds of babies' clothes for babies aged from a month to three years old hanging in the closet.
Kylie was shocked and burst into tears.
Ethan had never told her that he already prepared so much clothing for their babies.
When did he do that?
Although Ethan seemed to be serious and cold, he was doing what a father should do without telling anyone.
Kylie raised her head to stop her tears from falling. When she finally composed herself, she found piles of books for children along with an MP3 player placed in another closet.

Kylie picked it up and pressed the play button, then heard Ethan's singing.
She wasn't able to control her emotions anymore and cried again.
Ethan was reluctant to sing children's songs when she forced him to do so, but he secretly recorded some himself. If she and Ethan still trusted each other, their babies could be enjoying these songs now.
"Mrs. Parker, the car's ready." The housekeeper's voice sounded downstairs.
Kylie wiped her eyes and put several books together with the MP3 player into her handbag. These were the gifts for the babies from their father, and she must take some away.
When Kylie got in the car, she wore a pair of sunglasses to hide her swollen red eyes.
"Please help me take good care of him," Kylie said to the housekeeper with the car window in the middle.
"Mrs. Parker, don't worry, I promise Lord Ethan will be healthy and strong as usual when you come back home," the housekeeper said with a smile, thinking that Ethan was getting better.
Hearing that, Kylie felt like crying again and told the chauffeur to start the car at once.
Seeing the car moving away, the housekeeper went to the study and reported it to Ethan. "Lord Ethan, Mrs. Parker is gone."
There was no light in the study except moonlight. He was busy lately, planning to seize Stephen.
Ethan stood by the window, staring at the car, disappearing in his sight. "What did she take with her?"
"Mrs. Parker said she needs to stay in the show set for three days, so she only took some changes of clothes," the housekeeper said with great respect.
"Great." Ethan nodded, then walked into the darkness.
It wasn't a bad thing that Kylie wasn't home. They were about to conduct their plan, after all. If any information was leaked, his teammates might be suspicious of Kylie again.
Ethan was still annoyed at Kylie about her relationship with Stephen, but he couldn't help learning the latest information about her.
Therefore, the housekeeper visited the show set every day.
He made an excuse that Barbara told him to send Kylie nutritious soup, then collected information on her at the set. After that, he went back to the Finch family's house and reported it to Ethan.
Seeing that Ethan cared about Kylie so much, the housekeeper didn't have the heart to keep it a secret that Kylie had tested the ointment herself from Ethan any longer.
"Lord Ethan, please forgive me and don't get Mrs. Parker wrong. She really cares about you." The housekeeper understood he annoyed two of them at the same time.
Ethan was mad after knowing that. "Do you mean those medicines are from Stephen?"
"I don't know how Mrs. Parker got them, but they're really effective! Several doctors told me that your life was in danger before, but now you've got much better within just a week," the housekeeper said.
"What did you say?" Ethan caught the housekeeper's collar and lifted him up from the floor.
The housekeeper trembled in fear. "W-Well, the previous doctors all agreed that only the Ghost Doctor could cure you. I told Lord Nate, and he told Mrs. Parker..." Before he could finish, Ethan threw him back to the floor.
No wonder why Nate was so sure that Kylie must have met Stephen because Nate knew only Stephen could cure him!
Kylie had contacted Stephen to save his life!
If so, he had misunderstood her.
An idea dawned on Ethan, and he strode straight to the master bedroom. He opened the closets in their bedroom. Luckily, Kylie, indeed, just bring a few clothes away with her.
However, he still had a bad feeling.
The babies' room!
Ethan pushed the door of the babies' room open and checked around with a look.
He found books, and the MP3 players were absent at a glance.
If Kylie just went to work in the show set, it was impossible that she would bring those things away with her.
Ethan panicked and realized Kylie left him!

Letters from a Dying World
Times historic are often penned after the fact in the lifeblood of the pitiful, forgotten masses. That roiling, uncountable crush of humanity, they who held the pikes and they who threw down the tyrants. Their veins opened by gazes academic, sharp and cruel, and pecked away at with quills, written out of their own story. The Second Dark Crusade was a time of such poignancy. A time when the light of man waned and flickered, choking in the acrid smoke of its own inadequacy. As befitting of such an age it has been covered more than a capital whore, and so I attempt not to tell that story again. That story of dull, unfeeling analysis. Neither here will you find the browbeating, propagandistic screeds so common in the hands of men, the light of youth still burning behind their eyes. Nay, here I shall attempt to cover fresh ground, not tread on the grave dirt of long dead authors. Here I shall attempt to tell the story of the small lives caught, unbeknownst to them, in the great and torrential downpour that we now call history. Here lies the true story of The Second Crusade. - Loremaster Ip'Qal
