The place they ended up going was a hotel with a high star rating and the most expensive one in City A.

When they entered inside, the first thing they saw was the luxuriousness of the restaurant.

In an instant, the hotel lobby manager rushed to their side and with a smile on his face, welcomed them.

"Mr. Qu and CEO Long, the rooftop garden has been cleared out and reserved for you. May I guide you upstairs?"

While saying this, the hotel manager couldn't stop glancing at the young woman beside Mr. Qu and suddenly got curious.

However, because Alexander's eyes fell on the hotel manager's figure, he was unable to ask and continue being curious about the identity of the young woman and how she got associated with these two esteemed men.

Long Jie hummed his reply and the manager guided them to a table upstairs.

And just as he said, the rooftop garden was empty of any customers that should be chilling upstairs while eating.

However, this wasn't what Yan Xiaoran noticed. Just earlier, the hotel manager clearly called Long Jie 'CEO' and when he addressed Alexander, the hotel manager didn't put any title before his name and only used 'Mr.' whilst being extremely respectful to each of them.

All this time, she didn't know anything about Alexander aside from him being Robert Qu's grandson.

She looked up at Alexander who didn't notice her glancing at him and became worried. She realized that she's been under someone's grace without knowing anything about them.

Another, she even dared to stay and use him after refusing to get marry him. Just how much shame must she put in herself until she learns?

If there was a time, Yan Xiaoran wished she could search Alexander's name on the internet and find out who he really was.

Yan Xiaoran deeply sighed.

"Today's best dishes are the fresh Dokdo shrimp delivered here straight from the Dokdo island and the Lobster Frittata made by Chef Li." The hotel manager proudly announced.

The Chef Li he was talking about was the chef that got two 5-star Michelin award and one of the best chefs in the country. Because the hotel was known for keeping up their image, they successfully hired that chef with half a million dollars as his monthly income.

And with Chef Li's reputation, the customers kept on piling up and coming into their restaurant thus, the hotel knew that they did the right thing to hire him as their official chef.

According to what he knew, CEO Long and Mr. Qu were particular with their taste in food, and thus, the hotel manager was extremely happy that their current official chef was Chef Li.

Alexander was indifferent and didn't have any interest in knowing who was the chef and what dishes would be served since Long Jie would usually order the food that they eat.

But this time, Alexander was different and told the manager to ask Yan Xiaoran what she liked to eat, "Get her what she wants to eat and I'll have the same thing she'll have."

When his words landed, Long Jie looked pitiful since he was always the one who decides what they ate and now, his role in front of the table was stolen from him.

"Yes, sir." The hotel manager nodded his head and turned to look at Yan Xiaoran, "Miss, what do you like to order?"

"I'll have the Dokdo shrimp and the Lobster Frittata then," Yan Xiaoran smiled at the hotel manager.

The hotel manager made sure to write it on his small notebook and memorize it inside his mind just in case and to be sure he didn't forget anything.

"Is there anything the young miss fancied to eat? I'll make sure to make the chefs in the kitchen serve it." The hotel manager was all smiles as he asked her.

Yan Xiaoran shook her head, "No, this should be enough."

The hotel manager nodded his head and then, turned to look at Long Jie next to ask him what he wanted, but was stopped when Alexander suddenly answered on behalf of Long Jie.

"He'll have the same thing." Was Alexander's words in an indifferent tone.

Long Jie wanted to say otherwise but the hotel manager bowed his head and quickly left to give the list of dishes they ordered directly to the kitchen.

With a remorseful look on his face, Long Jie could only stare at the waiter's back. What does his third brother mean by getting the same thing? Doesn't this brother of his know that he's allergic to seafood?

Long Jie sent signals to his third brother through his eyes but it was ignored by Alexander. Was this his punishment for interrupting their sweet time inside the car?

With that thought in mind, Long Jie knew he should never go against his third brother and get between the couple.

While Long Jie was trying to make his presence invisible, Alexander took the time to stare at Yan Xiaoran.

Reaching his hand out, he suddenly pinched her cheeks much to their surprise. Alexander had the urge to do this after seeing her pale face and didn't stop with his action as if it was the most normal thing for him to do.

Seeing this, Long Jie who was sitting across them suddenly thought to himself: "Brother, please don't start off eating your dinner in front of me!"

Yan Xiaoran also wanted to know the reason why he suddenly did that and couldn't avoid his hand in time.

Every single time, she wanted to ask him why he was being like this toward her when they literally just met yesterday. And her million-dollar question was remained unanswered inside her mind. Did they know each other before they even met yesterday?

But surprisingly, even though she was surprised every time he tried to initiate physical contact with her, Yan Xiaoran didn't feel disgusted and instead, she felt comfortable and didn't mind it at all.

In no time, the dishes they ordered was served on their table with great care and display.
