When Yan Xiaoran woke up, the car already stopping in front of a huge modern Spanish-style mansion.

Because it was getting late, the warm glow of the sunset fell on her figure as she stepped out of the car.

She stretched her arms upward and purred like a cat. She looked around and saw how spacious the mansion was and the garden made her want to go there and lay on the grassy ground.

Suddenly, Yan Xiaoran remembered when she met Alexander in the garden and was barefooted. At that time, she felt that he was too interesting and she was curious at him.

She went along with his actions although, she was frequently hit by his playful words.

"ran… Xiaoran!"

Yan Xiaoran snapped out of her thoughts and turned to see that Alina and Madam Giselle has been waiting for her in front of the entrance of the mansion.

Surprisingly, when they got inside the mansion, there were only four maids and a butler standing to the side to welcome them.

Two maids came forward and reached their hands out to take the suitcase from Yan Xiaoran and Alina. Alina let one of the maids take her suitcase while Yan Xiaoran followed her example.

Madam Giselle clapped his hands and said, "From today on, these two misses beside me will be your mistresses too. So, make sure you treat them just like how you treat me."

The four maids and butler nodded their heads and introduced themselves to Yan Xiaoran and Alina. After their introductions, Alina and Yan Xiaoran was led by Madam Giselle to their rooms upstairs before he left to take some matters done downstairs.

With just the two of them, Yan Xiaoran pulled Alina and both of them sat on the edge of the bed.

"Alina… Isn't this a little bit too much?" She said in a hushed whisper and looked towards the direction of the door, "Don't you think Madame Giselle is pampering us too much for letting his staff treat us like their masters and letting us stay in the master's bedrooms?"

Alina stared at her anxious face before smiling, "What are you saying? Xiaoran, Giselle did this to make sure we're comfortable when living here." She turned to open her slightly huge bag and take her laptop out when her phone started to beep.

"What are you doing?" Asked Yan Xiaoran who looked over to see what she was doing.

Alina didn't raise her head to look at her as she answered, "A certain someone has been trying to get through the walls I created. Don't worry, I will be done in a minute."

As she said that, her pale fingers started to do its work. Like she was a pianist playing a fast and melodious melody, Alina didn't look like she was in a rush to finish her job.

The certain someone that has been constantly trying to get through the walls she created to block the attacks from the other hackers who wanted to get their location and put malware on her computer, she didn't need to guess who it was. The only person who could hire several top hackers to locate their location was probably the same man that fancied her best friend.

Alina was surprised at his determination to do all this for Yan Xiaoran. She could tell that he adored Yan Xiaoran from the way he looked at her best friend when they met inside the boutique. However, she couldn't betray Yan Xiaoran and let this man disturb Yan Xiaoran's growth.

Closing her laptop, Alina licked her lips. Her eyes twinkled whenever she was done defending her system and destroying her opponent's computers in one go.

Throwing the laptop to the bed, Alina suddenly asked Yan Xiaoran, "Say… What do you feel towards that man, Alexander?"

Yan Xiaoran was surprised to hear her asking that now before she said, "I don't know…"

"Do you love him?"

"I'm not sure… But I can say that I'm attracted to him." Yan Xiaoran felt her cheeks blushing.

"Because he's good in bed?" Alina naughtily wriggled her eyebrows and Yan Xiaoran flushed even more.

Shaking her head, Yan Xiaoran, however, said this: "He's amazing but that isn't what attracted me to him."

"Ooh... And what is that?"

"It's his gentleness and the way his eyes looked at me." Yan Xiaoran answered with a sincere smile.

The moments she shared with Alexander were short but it was filled with interesting events and the way he cared for her like no other made her feel that she was worth more than what she thinks.

"Hmmm…" Alina frowned and shamelessly said, "I can't say I like guys who're gentle… It's boring when they do it gently."

After hearing what Alina said, Yan Xiaoran burst out laughing as she shook her head while saying, "Of course, you don't. I remember you said to me while we're inside the prison that you like guys who can be rough and make you beg for more."

The two of them laughed and after their conversation, Alina went out early to sleep in her room while Yan Xiaoran was still taking her clothes out of her suitcase. The clothes that were packed inside were all prepared by Alina.

And as she was almost done unpacking, the last dress or coat in the suitcase felt strange in her hands. Groping the fabric of the coat, she found that there was something inside the inner chest pocket.

Taking out the thing that was inside the coat, Yan Xiaoran found that it was a white envelope. She wondered how did it get there and became curious that she even tore it open to see what it contained.

Several neatly folded papers were inside the envelope. From land deeds, bank accounts, to company ownership, all of it was under her name. The last paper was a letter to her by Alina explaining what these papers were for.

With wide eyes and trembling hands, Yan Xiaoran quickly read the papers one by one but even after reading it once or twice, she couldn't get over the shock and disbelief in her heart.

As if she was pulled by a string, Yan Xiaoran let go of the papers and rushed to get to Alina's room. However, when she got inside, the person she was looking for was not there.

The bed didn't even have any signs that someone touched it nor did she see the suitcase that Alina was carrying earlier.
