Seeing the rage clearly visible in Zhao Shuxin's eyes as she glared at her, Yan Xiaoran walked to sit on the leather couch and sat comfortably while returning her glare with a sweet smile.

Years ago, Yan Xiaoran would quiver in fear whenever she saw the distasteful look and glare that Zhao Shuxin would send in her way. She was an outsider inside the Zhao manor and she undoubtedly needed to be careful with her actions.

Unfortunately, everything she did was never the right thing in the eyes of the Zhao family.

At this time, a knock pierced through the deafening silence and the door to the office opened.

Xie Na, who had just opened the door to deliver a new set of coffee and snacks for them to eat while her boss talked with her guest, was shocked at the sight of the mess in the office.

The cup coffee and snacks that she served earlier to Zhao Shuxin was all over the carpeted floor that was under the coffee table. Feeling remorseful, Xie Na closed her eyes at her plight. Damn… does she have to clean this mess again?

Hm? Why is Miss Zhao sitting on the floor? Xie Na asked herself while not letting her shock and curiosity about what really transpired in the office show in her face.

When Zhao Shuxin saw the secretary entering the office, she felt gleeful and looked at Yan Xiaoran. A new batch of tears fell on her supple cheeks as she cried once again.

"Huhuhu… how can you do this to me, President Yan." Said Zhao Shuxin. Her eyes continued to produce her crocodile tears, "I only came here to talk with you, and yet, how could you be so violent with me!"

With her tears and pitiful look, surely, anyone who saw her would feel the need to help and take her side, right?

With such a violent employer, Zhao Shuxin was convinced that Xie Na would take pity on her and help her.

Yan Xiaoran silently stared at Zhao Shuxin's performance and smiled. She could still remember when Zhao Shuxin would always use the same method of playing the victim card to gain everyone's sympathy and take her side. In those times, Yan Xiaoran would always get the hatred and mockery of everyone else. They even claimed that she was a bully.

As Zhao Shuxin waited for Xie Na to come to her side and help her up, she saw Xie Na making her way towards her and hid the smile that was about to appear on her lips. While waiting, she continued to shed tears like a damsel in distress.

Unexpectedly, instead of helping her up, Xie Na walked to the coffee table where Zhao Shuxin was seated and put down the tray in her hand with two cups of hot coffee and snacks on top of it on the table.

"President, sorry I was late. The coffee maker didn't work the first time I tried it." Xie Na said.

"Thank you, Xie Na. You may go after taking the files on my table." Yan Xiaoran simply waved her hand. She waited till Xie Na took the files on her table and left the room to say to Zhao Shuxin, "Why don't you stand up now and sit like a person?"

Zhao Shuxin vengefully whipped her head and stared at her. Yan Xiaoran's insult that she was sitting like an animal hit her hard.

She definitely didn't want to sit on the floor and was planning to leave but with the secretary coming in, she had to continue sitting on the floor and play her performance.

"Yan Xiaoran! You think you're a big person now! You're still the meek Yan Xiaoran I know in the past!" Zhao Shuxin sneered.

"And you're still the same loudmouth Zhao Shuxin I know." Yan Xiaoran retorted. "Instead of crying and screaming like a duck, why don't you sit down."

"Hmph!" Zhao Shuxin snorted and stood up. She didn't do what she was told to do and headed towards the door.

She was about to turn the doorknob when she heard Yan Xiaoran's voice behind her.

"Miss Zhao. Aren't you worried about the Zhao Enterprise?" Her words somehow made Zhao Shuxin pause in her tracks.

"My Zhao Enterprise is none of your business!"

"But it is." Yan Xiaoran slowly took a sip from the coffee that Xie Na sent in the office.

"I am currently the biggest shareholder in the Zhao Enterprise." Yan Xiaoran smirked when she saw Zhao Shuxin turning her slowly to look at her.

During the crisis that befell on the Zhao Enterprise, Zhao Shuxin, along with the other board members in the Zhao Enterprise discussed to sell a huge amount of shares to save the company. A couple of wealthy people came to bid on the shares that were being sold.

As the price of shares was insanely huge, Zhao Shuxin and everyone else thought that the shares will be divided among the people who were interested in getting the shares.

However, something bad happened before the sale of shares.

The people who were supposed to come and buy some of the shares that were intended to be sold didn't appear and when Zhao Shuxin tried to contact them, they said that they were no longer interested to buy it.

Even the people who were quite close to the Zhao family pulled out.

Still stuck deep in the mud, Zhao Shuxin was desperate to save her company. She caught the rumors that an investor was looking to invest in some companies in China.

Thus, Zhao Shuxin ended up contacting Madam X who later became the savior of the Zhao Enterprise and also, the biggest shareholder in the company.

"Yan Xiaoran! I will turn a blind eye to what happened today for as long as you give back the shares you took from me!"

"Alright." Yan Xiaoran stood up and walked behind her desk, "I don't have the rest of the day so will you please give back the two hundred million dollars I spent to buy the shares?"
