Chapter 379: Ouyang Feng Has His Eyes Set On Fu Zhi
The only person who did not feel any remorse for her actions was Mu Chenxi. She thought of Pure Feather’s reason for refusing to cooperate with the Mu family.
She said someone from the Mu Family had offended her. At that time, she told her father that it was Fu Zhi who spoke evil of them in front of Pure Feather, but her father rejected the idea.
However, right after the delivery man confirmed that it was because of Fu Zhi that Pure Feather decided to donate the books to No.1 High School, she was certain that it must be Fu Zhi who had gotten in between the cooperation between them and Pure Feather.
‘How dare you, Fu Zhi! Not only did you destroy Chuwan’s future, and now you’re coming at my family?!’
If she told this to her father, she was certain that her father would not let Fu Zhi off the hook so easily this time.
The more Mu Chenxi thought about it, the angrier she became. In the end, she threw the copy of “Red Sun” in her hand on the ground.
Her eyes were filled with disappointment, both with Pure Feather and the Fu Corporation.
To hell with the literary giant. Pure Feather did not deserve the title, and she did not deserve to be her favorite writer as well!
After all, it was entirely because Pure Feather did not stand on her side that she would be humiliated like this.
“Fu Zhi, those who plant injustice will harvest disaster. Just you wait!” Mu Chenxi shouted and dashed out of the classroom.
The students from Class 1 looked at each other, and her deskmate went after her.
Song Fang knocked on the table and said, “Why are you guys waiting? Get back to your own class.”
The weather was a bit cold in the morning. Fu Zhi took her blanket out and wrapped herself up.
The students outside of Class 21 ignored Song Fang and just looked intently at Fu Zhi.
Fu Zhi thought they would go away if she ignored them, so she put her pillow on the table.
Then, just when she was about to lie her head down, they all shouted at the top of their lungs.
“Fu Zhi, please forgive us!”
Fu Zhi did not know what to say. She just looked at them apathetically and laid her head on the pillow.
A portion of students left, but some of them were still standing outside the class. When she closed her eyes, they shouted again, “Please forgive us, Fu Zhi, and thank you for helping us to get the book from Pure Feather!”
The cacophony of voices howled through Fu Zhi’s brain like a tornado and successfully chased her sleepiness away.
She rose to her feet and cocked her head. Looking at them expressionlessly, she said through greeting teeth, “If you guys don’t stop shouting, I will report to Director Liu and ask him to give you all a demerit.”
The group of students fell speechless.
Well, it was only then they realized they should not try to act affectionate with a dense girl like Fu Zhi. This was because she would never get it, and all she ever wanted was to sleep.
That being said, they still felt they should apologize and say thank you to Fu Zhi.
After that, the students all went back to their class.
Song Fang snorted, and he began to admire the message Pure Feather left to him.
It was just that the more he read the more he felt something was wrong. He poked at Fu Zhi’s back and asked, “Sister Zhi, Pure Feather’s signature looks so familiar. It seems to me that I have seen her writing somewhere before.”

Although Fu Zhi had tried her best to make her writing as ugly as possible, if one was observant enough, he or she could still find some similarity between Pure Feather’s writing and her writing.
Fu Zhi did not know what to say. She figured that if Song Fang could put more attention in his studies, he would not have to fight with Lu Yumo for the last place.
Fu Zhi then replied, “Yeah. Her style of writing is similar to mine.”
“Pfft…”
Song Fang broke into laughter, “I’m sorry, Sister Zhi, but…”
Looking at Fu Zhi’s expressionless face, Song Fang knew he should not be laughing but he couldn’t help it.
He said, “Can you look at your own language paper first?”
‘You’ve gotten zero in your language paper, and you still have the gut to say Pure Feather’s style of writing is similar to yours?’
Song Fang patted Fu Zhi’s shoulder. “Sister Zhi, it’s okay if you say something like this in front of me, but you must not say it in front of other students. I’m afraid that they may laugh at you.”
Fu Zhi shrugged, “Whatever.”
She was not going to explain anything anymore. After all, they would know the truth eventually.

Meanwhile, in the principal’s office of No.1 High School.
Ouyang Feng was watching the recording Ouyang Yue had sent him.
After he had finished watching the recording, he turned it off and fell into deep contemplation. He was in his mid-thirties, and he looked extremely dashing in his suit.
After a long while, he made a video call to Ouyang Yue.
“Fu Zhi told me that she has nothing to do with the Ouyang Family.”
The teenager on the other side of the screen seemed to know what Ouyang Feng was going to ask and said first, “I’ve not heard anything from my father for so long, and I don’t know if there is still meaning for me to keep this up or not. Is there really no one to save the Ouyang Family from its downfall?”
Ouyang Yue was wearing a military uniform, and he had a soldier-like manner. It was only when he was standing in front of Ouyang Feng, the world’s top gun designer that he would behave like a teenager.
After all, Ouyang Feng was considered a genius of the same generation as Ouyang Zhui. However, due to some factors, Ouyang Zhui majored only in firearms design, while Ouyang Feng had to practice martial skills and was in charge of the Ouyang family’s Shadow Corps. He was considered as a shadow of the Ouyang Family, and his name was not known by many as compared to Ouyang Zhui.
However, when it came to real power, even if Ouyang Yue was the head of the Ouyang Family, Ouyang Feng could easily strip him of his title if he really wanted to do it.
This was why Ouyang Ya put so much effort into the exchange meeting.
She wanted to impress Ouyang Feng, so that Ouyang Feng would take her under his tutelage, give her the Shadow Corps in his hand, and let her take over the Ouyang Family completely.
Ouyang Feng took a sip from his cup, but he did not answer Ouyang Yue’s question. Instead, he asked him, “What do you think of Fu Zhi?”
“I’m not particularly sure about her talent in firearms design, but since she knows so much about the construction of the 658 rifle, I think she must have some experience in it as well. Besides, she’s smart too.”

Ouyang Yue knew that Ouyang Feng attached great importance to firearms design. After all, the Ouyang family made its fortune on this knowledge. Besides, this was the legacy left by their ancestors, and as the younger generation of the Ouyang Family, they should not forget their roots.
Ouyang Feng was stunned for a while after he heard what Ouyang Yue had said. After a moment, he laughed, “It seems that we two thought the same. But she is, after all, a girl. Plus, looking from the video, she could reach the destination so fast because she took a shortcut. Her physical strength may not be able to keep up with the boys in the Shadow Corps. As for her fighting skills… Well, all I could say is she’s pretty wild.”
Comparing Fu Zhi to the Shadow Corps…
Ouyang Yue pressed his lips thin as he had understood what Ouyang Feng was trying to say.
Ouyang Yue did not know how to explain his feeling, but he was happy as long as Ouyang Feng was not going to take Ouyang Ya as his disciple,
He took a look at his watch and said, “Didn’t you put the weakest group of the Shadow Corps in the camp in Yu City? They have fighting competitions every afternoon, so why don’t you bring Fu Zhi over there this afternoon and test her out?”
Fu Zhi, who had already caught up on her sleep, did not know that she was about to become Ouyang Feng’s apprentice.
After the Physics class, she was called by Director Liu to talk to the principal in his office.
Fu Zhi had no idea why but she did not like how the principal looked at her. It was like a lion looking at its prey, and she did not have a good feeling about it.
Ouyang Feng smiled warmly and said, “No.1 High School is going to hold a winter camp. We’re in the process of selecting the site. Since you are the representative of senior students, you have to go with me this afternoon.”
This was the first time Fu Zhi saw the principal of No.1 High School in person. He looked very gentle, and he did not look much different from the photos placed on the bulletin board.
Initially, Fu Zhi wanted to turn down the offer as she was not interested at all. However, Ouyang Feng seemed to have anticipated that she would refuse. He smiled lightly and said, “If you go with me this time, you can take leave whenever you want in the future, and you won’t be criticized for having a bad attitude if you don’t answer the test papers properly.”
Fu Zhi was stunned.
Fu Zhi looked at her watch and said, “Well, it’s getting late. Let’s go now so that you can come back and continue your work later.”
Ouyang Feng nodded meaningfully.
He got up from his seat, took the car keys, and went down the school building with Fu Zhi.
He took a small, remote road.
Fu Zhi was feeling carsick. After rolling down the window, she leaned on the back of the seat and closed her eyes to recuperate.
Generally, the winter camp would be held in a mountainous area. Therefore, Fu Zhi did not think too much when Ouyang Feng took her into the mountain until she heard a “ding”.
The black-clad man who was standing by the door came forward and gave a salute to Ouyang Feng, “Commander!”
After Ouyang Feng stopped his car outside the gate, he opened up Fu Zhi’s door, and said, “Let’s go.”
Fu Zhi looked expressionlessly at Ouyang Feng and asked, “Don’t you think you owe me an explanation?”
“About that,” Ouyang Feng replied, “I thought you youngsters like cosplay?”
Fu Zhi glanced at the rifle in front of the black-clad man.
Yeah, it was not a toy.
Fu Zhi’s face sank.
Seeing her reluctance, Ouyang Feng then reminded, “Think about the things I told you before coming here.”
Fu Zhi was speechless.
‘Alright then, a great woman knows when to yield and when not.’
With that thought in mind, Fu Zhi said, “They all look so realistic. Lead the way, then. Let’s see what you’ve got inside.”
Ouyang Feng said something to the man before leading Fu Zhi into the basement.
Along the way, Fu Zhi felt everyone was looking at her as if she was some kind of extinct animal.
The silver lining was Ouyang Feng had prepared a cup of strawberry milkshake for her, so she could still bear through it.
At this moment, Fu Zhi did not think that Ouyang Feng brought her here to pick the site for the winter camp. After all, the setup of this base was virtually identical to what Fu Zhi saw at the Ouyang Residence.
Every man who met Ouyang Feng greeted him.
These people were different from the people at the base over in the capital.
Fu Zhi clearly felt that they had seen blood, and both in terms of agility and insight, they were also many times better than the group of trainees at the base in the capital who only knew how to wail.
She went another few rounds with Ouyang Feng, and there were quite a lot of precision-designed firearms here which Fu Zhi had not seen before.
Truth be told, Fu Zhi had the urge to dismantle the firearms here to study them like she used to do in the past.
However, it was not good behavior, and she was severely reprimanded by her father several times.
Fu Zhi’s eyes glued to the improved version of the revolver.
Ouyang Feng noticed and he said, “There is a ring match for the Shadow Corps today.”
Fu Zhi continued to study the revolver, and she just bobbed her head as a reply to Ouyang Feng.
Ouyang Feng’s eyes gleamed and he felt that she was smart enough to pick out the most sophisticated pistol at a glance.
Ouyang Feng grew even more confident in his decision.
The Shadow Corps was split into five teams of Gold, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth, with increasing strength in that order.
This time, those who participated in the ring match were the teammates of the Shadow Corp’s Gold Team.
When Fu Zhi and Ouyang Feng arrived, the match had already started.
The first one to go on the stage was the captain of the Gold Team, Ji Hou. His left hand was injured while on a mission. Three fingers of his left hand were fractured by someone and were wrapped with a white cloth.
Ji Hou came on stage and said aloud, “I was injured accidentally a few days ago while on my mission, but it’s not a problem. A man can’t say he can’t do it, and he should never run away from a challenge!”
Other than a few ordinary members, most of the people sitting below the stage were elites from the team. They were not even close to Ji Hou in terms of their own strength, and they admired Ji Hou greatly.
All of them shouted, “Way to go, Captain!”
When Ji Hou saw Ouyang Feng, he gave him a salute.
Then, he pulled out a knife from his boot and continued, “Please ignore my injuries. Let’s go with our usual way. The ordinary members will come on the stage first.”
“Okay!” The members below the stage shouted.
Ji Hou was worthy of being the captain. With only his right hand, he was able to destroy all the ordinary members.
The teammates who were kicked down were grateful for his teachings.
The cold wind howled, and Ouyang Feng took Fu Zhi towards the edge of the ring.
Ji Hou was standing on the stage at this moment. He slightly raised his chin and said, “Is there anyone else? Any ordinary member of the team is welcomed to come to the ring. If there is no one else, then I’ll spar with the elite teammates.”
The sparring session in the Shadow Corps was a daily thing. There was a big difference between the ordinary members and the elite members, not to mention the captain of the team.
Nobody spoke for a moment.
Ouyang Feng looked at Fu Zhi, and he realized that she behaved very differently when she was in the exhibition room.
‘She doesn’t seem to like fighting arts very much? That won’t work!’
If she took over the team just by firearm designing skills, nobody would obey her.
The Gold Team was the weakest in the Shadow Corps.
In any case, Fu Zhi had to spar with Ji Hou first.
With that thought in mind, Ouyang Feng picked her up from the ground and threw her into the ring.
