Chapter 381: Two Matches

Initially, he wanted to warn Ji Hou not to be gullible and careless. However, on second thought, he did not know why Ouyang Feng would want Ji Hou to fight an adorable young lady like her.

Everyone thought Yuan Qing would switch Ji Hou to another ordinary member. After all, Ouyang Feng just wanted Fu Zhi to fight someone. He had not specified who she should be fighting.

They could not believe that Yuan Qing would actually agree to such nonsense.

All of them looked with disbelief at Fu Zhi, who was standing in the ring looking at Ji Hou. She saluted him and said, “Thank you for the fight.”

Her voice was gentle and low, but it was loud enough to be heard by the crowd, causing everyone to realize that this was not a dream but a contest that had really happened.

‘She’s so fast! Ji Hao didn’t even get a chance to defend himself before he was defeated!’

Some of the ordinary members muttered, “Could Vice-Captain Ji Hou have underestimated her and not noticed that Fu Zhi was in front of him?”

“Nope, Ji Hou noticed her the moment she charged at him,” Ouyang Feng chimed in as he nodded in satisfaction. “Excellent. Can any of you tell me where she punched Ji Hou? No? As soon as he finished speaking, Ji Hou slowly got to his feet. The annoyance had disappeared from his face, and he realized that he had been wrong. He should not have underestimated the girl in front of him. He saluted Fu Zhi in return and said, “I lost.”

Then, Yuan Qing came to help him down from the ring. There was still a throbbing pain on the spot Fu Zhi had hit. He felt a little embarrassed of himself for belittling her. Ouyang Feng pressed his lips firmly.

Yuan Qing’s strength was not on the same level as Ji Hou’s. Plus, he was calmer and he seldom underestimated his opponent. Thus, it would be impossible if Fu Zhi tried to defeat him the way she had defeated Ji Hou.

Even though Ouyang Feng was a little worried about Fu Zhi, he willed himself to calm down. He told himself that it was fine if Fu Zhi lost the match. She was still young, and he had a lot of time to nurture her. There was no need for him to compare her to Ouyang Ya at all.

Fu Zhi, who was oblivious to Ouyang Feng’s thoughts, nodded at Yuan Qing.

Yuan Qing said, “I truly want to spar with you, so…”

He pulled a knife out of his boot and handed it to Fu Zhi. “I’m not exaggerating or anything, but I’m not like Ji Hou. If you want to defeat me, then you will need at least a weapon.”

The crowd was speechless.

He finally knew how much pain Ji Hou had felt.

Yuan Qing did not care what the crowd said. He could sense that Fu Zhi was indeed very strong.

The entire base entered a deathly silence, as none of them had expected that Fu Zhi would win the match.

Ouyang Feng could not hold back and clapped his hands. “Good fight!”

Then, everyone else followed suit.

Fu Zhi retracted her hand from Yuan Qing’s neck.

She had defeated Yuan Qing with just three moves.

When the realization hit Yuan Qing, he looked at the young lady standing not far away, his eyes filled with disbelief.

She was saluting him.

Yuan Qing calmed himself down and touched his neck. He still could not quite believe what had just transpired. If he really had been Fu Zhi’s enemy, he was certain that she would have crushed his neck without any hesitation.

Fu Zhi had won two matches in a row, and the two people she had defeated were the strongest on the team.

The rest of the members had lost the desire to challenge her to a match. Well, Ouyang Feng felt that this was enough as well, as Fu Zhi had already proven her strength.

Fu Zhi stepped down from the ring. She walked up to Ouyang Feng and said, “The gun and the notebook. You promised that you would give them to me.”

“Well, come with me.”
