Normally, D would be able to fix the computer in a few minutes and hack into it.

However, today was different. It had already been more than an hour, yet there was still no response from D.

Raptor sent a message to push him, but he still did not reply.

After a short while that seemed like an eternity, D eventually replied, [Your computer system has been breached, and your firewall has crashed. There's also a new virus wreaking havoc on your computer, so I might need some more time.]

Raptor could not believe what he had just heard. He was stunned for quite a long while before he found his voice again. [Even you don't know how to fix it?]

The second he sent the message, D replied with a voice message.

"Raptor..." D's voice was deep and filled with helplessness. "Just tell me honestly, who have you offended? This virus is new to the market, and after I removed it, the system unit of your computer was hacked as well. Did you accidentally offend someone?"

D had never seen something like this before. While he was helping Raptor fix his computer, he had not expected that his opponent would seize the opportunity to hack him back.

'This is so scary!'

D had no idea why but he felt a chill down his spine. He began to regret helping Raptor, as there was a good chance he might be targeted by the person who had hacked Raptor's computer as well.

Raptor called D, and the second D answered the call, Raptor's anxious voice erupted. "Impossible! I know my own stuff, and there's no way I would mess with those guys!"

D pinched the spot between his brows. "If you didn't offend them, then… Oh yeah, what were you doing just now?"

'Just now?'

Raptor's expression changed, and he replied, "Are you talking about Fu Zhi?"

"Huh? What're you talking about?"

"She's the vilest girl I've ever met! She knows how to fix a computer, so I'm positive that she's the one who put the virus in my computer!"

"Fu Zhi? Do you have any details about her? Are you sure she's not one of us?"

"She's just a student from a small town," Raptor said as he got to his feet. "She is a nobody. Anyway, you try your best to fix the computer. I have to do something now, but I will be right back."

"Okay, I will try," D said.

This new type of virus had successfully piqued D's curiosity. After he hung up the call, he resumed fixing Raptor's computer.

At the same time, Raptor put everything back into his bag and went to look for Fu Zhi.

It was lunchtime right now, and Fu Zhi was having lunch with Song Fang and his group in a restaurant.

Lu Yumo was devastated. He felt that he was a completely useless brother. He had been scammed out of his money by Zhou Tingting and he needed Fu Zhi to help him. He was a bad student and he knew nothing about programming or hacking, so he could not help Fu Zhi get back at the people that laughed at her.

"Well, you're not useless now," Lu Yubai said as he finished a skewer. "Your vocabulary is lacking. Let me teach you a new phrase. Come on, repeat it after me from beginning to end."

"So what should I do now? I'm both ignorant and incompetent. I only know how to play games!" Lu Yumo snarled. He was overwhelmed by sadness and anger as he pounded against Song Fang's pec. "Why am I so useless? Tell me, why am I so useless, huh? I should just beat you to death so that I can spend the rest of my life in jail!"

"Chill, buddy! You're not thinking straight now. I have an idea, maybe you should beat yourself to death instead. Then, you will be liberated from this cruel world, and I won't have to die. It'll be a win-win situation for both of us," Song Fang said as he sucked in air to make his invisible abs more apparent. "Besides, Raptor didn't get anything from Sister Zhi."

"Our bodies are given to us by our parents, so I don't want to let my parents down." Lu Yumo sighed. "I'm really a loser. Maybe I should work harder to improve my gaming skills. Who knows, Tsinghua University or Harvard University might want to recruit a pro gamer like me as a student in the future, right?"

Song Fang did not know what to say. He pushed Lu Yumo away and took two steps back, his finger pressing on a black file inside Fu Zhi's bag.

When Raptor arrived, Fu Zhi had just finished her lunch.

It was 12:30 p.m. now, and there were no other people aside from the group of students in the restaurant.

Raptor walked up to them and flung his computer on the couch. Then, he shouted, "What the hell do you want from me, Fu Zhi?!"

He was on the verge of exploding. He did not care about the computer but the information and personnel files of the members of the Hacker Alliance in his computer. If someone got the data, it would be a devastating blow to the alliance.

"I can't believe that a young girl like you would have such a vile heart. It's fine if you're not as good as me, but why the hell do you have to do this to me, huh? Just come straight at me if you have a problem with me. How can you put a virus in my computer?" He was certain that Fu Zhi was the one who had put the virus in his computer. Although he did not know why she wanted to do that, he was positive that she must be up to no good.

"She's not as good as you?" Ye Jiu stood up and shielded Fu Zhi with his back. "You can't even answer a question, so what gives you the guts to make such a bold statement?"

"I'm not messing with you guys! I'm being very serious right now!" Raptor hissed as he grabbed Ye Jiu by the collar of his shirt. He then threatened Fu Zhi. "Who the hell did you buy the virus from? Tell me right now, or I will beat him until he cries!"

If Fu Zhi was an ordinary person, she might have begun to tremble in fear and plead with him to let Ye Jiu go. However, Fu Zhi was not an ordinary girl. She just heaved a sigh and told Ye Jiu, "Didn't you just get a million from Gu Min today? Try your best not to overdo it. We have to keep the medical expenses under 2 yuan, or else I won't pay for his medical bills."

Hearing what Fu Zhi had just said, Raptor grabbed Ye Jiu's collar even tighter as he snarled, "How dare you mock me?! Do you know who the hell I am? If you dare to beat me, I will make sure you will have a hard time living in an era when the internet reigns supreme!"

He raised his fist, and just as he was about to punch Ye Jiu, Song Fang, who was standing nearest to them, grabbed something and hurled it at Raptor's face.

Thump! A loud muffled sound erupted, and the next thing Raptor knew, he was pinned on the floor by Ye Jiu.

He opened his mouth, but before any words could come out, the black file fluttered down and landed straight on his mouth.

Raptor was speechless.

Fu Zhi slowly turned her head toward Song Fang and said, "You…"

"I'm sorry, I'm sorry. My emotions got the best of me, and I thought Ye Jiu is a loser," Song Fang hastily explained. He quickly squatted down and picked the file up.

The bottom of the black file was drenched in Raptor's saliva, and Song Fang nearly puked.

He looked in embarrassment at Fu Zhi and said, "I will help you get the document out!"

Upon saying that, he hastily tore the file open and pulled a gold-lined invitation out. As he pulled the invitation out of the file, a dark blue mermaid badge fell to the floor with a clank.

"To Siren—Invitation to the 9th Asian Final of the Hacker Alliance…." Song Fang was stunned, and Raptor, who was still lying on the floor, froze when he saw the mermaid badge.
