Zhuang Lijuan took a deep breath before saying, "Miss Yan, you're asking for quite a huge sum."

With one leg on the chair, Yan Jinyi looked very much like a gangster as she said nonchalantly, "Nah, I'm just going along with the market price."

'This woman is indeed after my son's money, just as I expected. Maybe, she has already found out long ago that Zhuang Heng actually belongs to the Tang family.'

Zhuang Lijuan was exceptionally disgusted with Yan Jinyi and she utterly despised her. 'My son must marry a woman from a rich family, or else, how can he vie with Tang Qing for the inheritance?'

"I can give you five million yuan but Miss Yan, you must promise to never pester Zhuang Heng again."

Yan Jinyi waved her hand and said straightforwardly, "Sure."

'Zhuang Heng is the one pestering me anyway.'

Zhuang Lijuan made a phone call to the bank and when she saw that Yan Jinyi was just about to pick up the bank card, she immediately pressed it down. "Wait a minute, I need more than just a verbal promise. I hope you will get lost from this city and never show up in front of me again after you take my money."

"Why should I do that?" Yan Jinyi immediately retorted.

"How else can I guarantee that you'll really leave my son? Miss Yan, we have to sign an agreement before I can give you the money. You must promise to leave this city."

Yan Jinyi said in a hostile tone, "My management agency is here in Shenyang, why should I leave? Do you really think I care for those five million yuan of yours? It's just a man. Even if I don't take your money, I can just go act all coquettish with Tang Qing, Zhuang Heng, or Huo Zihang and I'll be given the chance to play a lead role. The amount of money I'll earn from that is far beyond five million."

Zhuang Lijuan turned pale and she snapped, "You're such a shameless woman."

Yan Jinyi humphed. "You're not any better. You've already shamelessly become someone else's mistress and had an illegitimate child with him. I'm nothing compared to you. Well at least, Zhuang Heng and the other guys are still single and at most, I'll marry each of them once. Anyway, it's really easy and convenient to get a divorce these days."

Zhuang Lijuan's breathing gradually quickened and her chest was heaving up and down vigorously by the time Yan Jinyi said her piece.

'Yan Jinyi must be the most shameless person in this world. How can she have the cheek to say such things?'

Pointing her shaky finger at Yan Jinyi, Zhuang Lijuan warned, "Don't get too ahead of yourself. Yan Jinyi, I know many of the veteran artists and celebrities in the entertainment industry. It'd be a piece of cake for me to kick you out."

Yan Jinyi looked up lazily and smirked arrogantly. "Is that so? Whose pride and reputation do you think matters more? Yours or Zhuang Heng's?"

'How dare this little bitch threaten me?'

Zhuang Lijuan tried her best to contain her anger as she answered, "Okay, you can stay in this city but you must sign an agreement and promise that you'll never pester my son again."

Yan Jinyi chugged the entire glass of water in one go. "I'm sorry but five million yuan is the price I offered just now, I've decided to change my mind. I want six million."

Zhuang Lijuan slammed her hand against the table with no regards to her image anymore. "Yan Jinyi, don't go overboard. Do you really think I can't do anything to you?"

Yan Jinyi did the same and suddenly stood up to look down at Zhuang Lijuan condescendingly. "Madam Zhuang, don't you go too far. Do you really think I'm scared of you?"

Zhuang Lijuan was so exasperated that she was trembling continuously. She suddenly smiled and restored her elegant, dignified posture. "Okay, six million it shall be."

She then took out an agreement from her bag and said, "Sign this and get lost with the money immediately. If you dare to continue pestering Zhuang Heng, I'll release this agreement to the public and let everyone see your true colors."

Zhuang Heng was too bewitched and obsessed with Yan Jinyi. Hence, Zhuang Lijuan had no choice but to look for Yan Jinyi herself.
