The storyline for the film this time was set to be emotional.

The female lead, Moon, was abducted by a child trafficker at a tender age and sold to an infertile married couple in a faraway village.

The couple was past their child-bearing years and were quite nice to Moon. On the day that Moon reached adulthood, her adoptive father fell to his death when going up the mountain to pick some wild fruit for her while her mother became paralyzed because of a severe illness.

Moon was slightly autistic, timid and extremely introverted. Later on, her biological parents finally found her and sent her back to the city to study at a third-rate university through their connections.

Her biological parents ran a business and were rather well-to-do. Their relatives lived near them and they were in disdain of Moon because she grew up in the countryside and had an eccentric character.

Once, Moon was almost molested by a male classmate who came from a wealthy family that had plenty of connections. Moon's biological mother put in a good word for the boy and convinced Moon to let the matter go. At the same time, she happened to receive the news of the death of her adoptive mother in the countryside, and thus chose to take her own life by jumping into the river.

The entire storyline was very depressing and Yan Jinyi would have to be bare-faced throughout the entire process of the filming.

The first half of the film was shot in the slums of a mountainous area, according to Yan Jinyi's wishes. The scenery there was beautiful and perhaps when the film is released, it would gain some fame and be developed into a tourist spot.

Thus, the people in the mountain would be able to earn some money too.

"Second Sister-in-law, can you take me with you this time?" Huo Qingyuan asked, tugging Yan Jinyi's sleeve reluctantly.

Yan Jinyi smacked her hand away with disdain and said, "Study harder."

'I'm already in the third year of college!' Huo Qingyuan was furious.

"Second sister-in-law..."

Yan Jinyi was getting impatient. "Huo Zihang, take your sister away."

Huo Zihang felt that Huo Qingyuan was overreacting as well. It wasn't like they were going to part ways forever. Yan Jinyi was just going to leave for filming.

"Huo Qingyuan, why are you so clingy when you're already so old?" Huo Zihang said with disdain.

Huo Qingyuan glared at him. "It's none of your business."

Yan Jinyi wished Shen Yan a happy birthday in advance.

"It's just a birthday. We can spend it together next year. I happen to be making a trip to the US in the afternoon."

Shen Yan smiled. 'I'm going to stay as far away from him as possible.'
