Rebirth: King To Superstar Chapter 4

Making his thoughts clear, he came back into the living room only to hear his stomach grumble because of hunger.
"Looks like this guy did not even eat anything for breakfast yet. Let's see if I can get anything to eat from what is in the kitchen." Shaking his head he made his way into the kitchen.
As Joon-won stepped into the small kitchen, his feet froze and lips twitched. He was greeted with a disaster, it looked like the kitchen had been turned rather into a garbage dump. Used utensils from almost a week were dumped into the sink while giving out a nasty smell.
There were various plastic wrappers, empty noodles cups stuffed into the small trash can. Joon- won couldn't help but hold his mouth as he stopped himself from gagging before quickly returning to the living room and opening the balcony door for some fresh air.
"Oh god. That was a monstrosity. This guy has been living like a savage animal. No scope for hygiene at all. Even I didn't live like this before I married Quin and became the King. This guy left a disaster for me to clean up."
Even though he was never a clean freak in his previous life, he was used to the neatness maintained back at the palace. Seeing this made him think of how much he has yet to still adapt to the various living conditions even though he received memories about the world.
"This going to be harder than fighting a war." Sighing to himself. He went inside the living room before grabbing the handkerchief on the coffee table and tied it around his mouth and nose as a makeshift mask.
"I hope this helps at least a bit or I might die on the same day I got reborn in the middle of a bunch of trash." He bravely walked inside the kitchen once again.

'Now this is better, at least I don't feel like gagging immediately. Let's start with the utensils in the sink first then the trash.' feeling relieved he thought and made his way towards the sink at the far right beside the small refrigerator through all the trash in the middle.
Standing in front of the sink he saw something which made him gag once again, insects running through utensils.
'Oh god, it has been almost a whole week that the small insects were confident to roam around freely. Hmm, seems like this guy maintains a repellent somewhere around here.' looking at the small cupboards on the top of the sink. He slowly opened them and found a can of repellent.
Taking a deep breath he sprayed the repellent all over the utensils and the magic happened in seconds. All types of insects poured out, struggling before dying. After a whole minute when it felt like there were no more, he turned on the water and slowly reached out for some soap and brush before starting to clean up all of the utensils at least two times.
It took him a whole hour before he leaned up all the utensils and placing them back inside the cupboards where they belong. He turned around and looked at the trash over the floor before starting his work by taking out a larger trash bag and placing them all inside.
Spending another 30 minutes on trash he placed it near the main door.
'Hmm, seems like we are responsible to take the trash down and drop it inside the bin outside the apartment. I'll do this later then.' he went back into the kitchen before taking out the mop and cleaning the floor free of stains.
After completing everything he looked at the clean kitchen before taking out the handkerchief and nodding to himself. If anyone saw him doing all these no one would believe he was the king of the strongest kingdom on a planet.

"Finally completed. Ugh, I forgot my hunger while cleaning this mess. Now it came back at double the strength. Looks like it's already noon. Now I still need to cook lunch. Sigh." Clutching his stomach, he grumbled.
He made his way towards the refrigerator and opened it to see what he could use to make some lunch for himself. After opening it, he couldn't help but sigh in relief. There were a few ingredients to work with. Taking them out one by one, he spread them across the kitchen platform and started to think about what he wanted to eat.
It didn't take him long to decide and start preparing some curry with plain rice. Taking out a rice packet from a cupboard, he rinced the rice and placed it inside a rice cooker.
'Sigh, this world is indeed much better. Even cooking rice is made easier here.'
He continued and quickly made himself some curry with the vegetables he could find before the rice cooker gave out a signal. Taking out a plate he scooped some rice and curry before taking a seat on the couch.
"Finally after a hectic start in this new life I can finally eat some food. I have enough for even night time so I should be fine. Well It's been so long since I cooked my own meal. Hope I didn't lose the touch." Exclaiming he took a spoon full and shoved it right inside his mouth.
"Hmm, seems like it's not only the air around here, even the food grown isn't that natural or rather without elements of impurities. Sigh the people of this world are blinded by the urge to develop and forgot the planet itself." As he continued to eat.
Finishing up the whole plate of food, he washed all the dishes and sat on the couch once again. As he stretched his back, thinking what he should do, at the corner of his eye he saw the crumbled script on the ground and grabbed it.

Until You Do It Right
The world ended on December thirty-first of the year two thousand and twenty, precisely at the stroke of midnight. The human race began to be systematically exterminated by the spawn of the System. We were given a chance to defeat them, to take back our place at the top of the food chain. We failed. The first to perish were those who bravely rebelled. The soldiers. The defenders. One by one, they fell. In their final moments, they begged for aid. Nobody replied. The next to succumb were those who feebly cowered. The deniers. The leeches. Together, they fell. In their final moments, they cried out into the darkness. Countless voices replied in kind. The last to decline were those who shamelessly ran. The deserters. The cowardly. Alone, they fell. In their final moments, they whimpered quietly. There was nobody left to answer. The final human to die was a survivor. A runner. As he died, he begged for salvation. His prayers were answered. He was offered a chance to save himself, along with all of humanity, and he took it. This is his story. “I sat in the dark and thought: There’s no big apocalypse. Just an endless procession of little ones.”― Neil Gaiman, Signal to Noise. I am absolutely new to writing and will take any and all constructive criticism. Please give feedback, it is greatly appreciated. I will update the tags as they change, and I hope that you enjoy this little story I'm writing! Quick warning: Seamus is intentionally a flawed character, and this story is going to explore those flaws and perhaps even change a few of them. I do not agree with all of his actions, but it is what it is.

Tironia
Reincarnated on the world of Tironia, I find myself naked and alone. Apart from the fact that I've been linked with a less than helpful companion, through my own doing no less. All I want is a kick-ass name and some super-sweet magic. "Is that too much to ask for?" Apparently so. All I got, was a schizophrenic sidekick and a set of bad jokes. "Is it time to start shitting my pants yet?" Note: If you enjoy my first novel, please leave a rating or a comment. Constructive criticism is also appreciated. As of now Tironia is complete. I need to edit the chapters however as there are many, many mistakes. Once that's complete, I will begin work on Erins next adventure: Dungeon Igo. Current Chapter Rewritten: 1

YAOS 1 - Limitless Adventures - Yet Another OP Story Book 1
December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and at Amazon. December 30th 2018: V1.1.2 of YAOS Book 1 is out, some content additions, fixed typos. Amazon's enhanced typesetting now displays tables properly. YAOS is shown through the eyes of some genius athlete getting OP inside a VR, ah wait, Full Immersion game, ?F.I.O?. Not a Hero, not a Nerd, just a driven individual paying for mistakes made, biding time until he can return to the Real World. He isn't defined like you'd normally do it, you can pick his looks and name all on your own, just like you do in video games. Believe it or not, keeping his looks undefined is harder than you think. His backstory isn't expounded in detail, but it drives his choices. Book 1 isn't about depressing sob stories but about fun and rushing forward, pursuing new horizons. Oh, and you'll end on a cliffhanger! Well, most serials do, so you will probably expect that without being told explicitly. But it isn't that bad, there's a lot of reveals and more to come once this book, that is the first in a planned three-part series, is finally ready for release on amazon et al. The published version will have: 1.) Godawful speaker tags, I hate them, they make you stop thinking and speed up editing so much. In hindsight they should have been in to begin with. But I stand by my goals proclaimed earlier. You guys should think while reading, that is the whole point of the exercise. Apply the knowledge and ideas, improve yourself, get creative! 2.) Pretty colored tables, the damned blue boxes, a lot of work, 69 in one book. Finally fixed amazon's centering issue. Can't say I liked the hours needed to debug that. 3.) The promised Mitara chapters. 4.) A cover! 5.) And lastly, updated polished versions of several chapters. MC shares more of his past, some terrible chapters (esp. 32) finally work. Some new scenes, minor rewrites in parts. Text flow and other issues. The current challenge is to maintain essential ambiguity while satisfying people wanting to know more without thinking three steps ahead. Balancing one with the other is tough. The smut which was in remains, but the story told is not to be superseded by it. A 15+ rating for the first book is also important, not to mention, YAOS wasn't meant to contain any smut to begin with. If the Author can turn to writing full time his output should increase, so please support YAOS #1 once it does finally release. ~Thank You~ No maps so far, that should be in, but is really hard to get done right. Again, tips are appreciated. Update September 2017: Stubbed chapters, sorry guys, currently don't have time to upload them elsewhere, polishing book 1 and 2, writing 3, takes precedence. Book 1 is in heavy editing, too much to keep synced and continuing editing. I'd need a site which offers JS-free rapid managing of chapters and comments. Coding one myself or setting a premade up is out of scope until I'm done with the books. RRL-old offered that, nuff said. This is only here because the author believes in fairies, nobody reads this, most likely. October to December 2017: Life threw some curveballs. February 2018: Book 2 draft 1 completed, at ~150K words. Book 2 is fairly epic in scope, requires 1 rewritten chapter, some editing. Tables and miscellanea are in, but needs at least a grammar pass. March 2018: Book 3 at 28k words, first arc, rest needs serious planning for spin-off and satisfying conclusion. July 2018: Yet another proofing/editing session of books 1-3, 101+ chapters, ~300k words. B3 at 48k, starts out great, but no ETA, no wordcount limit, in flux. But prioritizing my writing cannot be done, I hate the delays as much as you, but you will prefer the whole released in a timely fashion rather than wait. Knowing myself how excruciating waiting can be, at least you'll get significantly polished versions and an ETA on book 2 by release of book 1. December 23rd 2018: Book 1 is now up at Smashwords and in the process at Amazon et. al.. . To all who wait patiently, offered feedback, thanks again!

Challenged Dungeon and the Arrival of Mana
One day, a few spirits drifting through the astral plane discover Earth and decide to create dungeons to bridge the gap between worlds, and eventually make themselves the gods of Earth. After being created, Three has the misfortune of falling through a grate in an alley in New York City and making that its entrance. Suddenly propelled to sizes much larger than an infant dungeon should be it becomes the frontrunner of all its sibling dungeons, yet faces problems initially attracting creatures. Three's problems only worsen over time as its demanding and seemingly capricious creator gradually strips away its ability to be a true dungeon while compelling it to reach a nearly impossible goal: conquer all humans. Also follow Stan, the alcholic veteran cop and his pet cat Ms. Winters as they get embroiled into the arrival of dungeons and mana. I have most of the story mapped out, but it can still use some work, my goal is to release at least a chapter a week until I am finished. I would greatly appreciate any help proofreading or editing, and advice is always appreciated. UPDATE School caught up with me back then and I lost the thread, so this is now (definitely) dropped, sorry all, maybe I'll get back to it one day.
