Chapter 233: The Real Peerless Fighter in the Spiritual Martial Realm
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Boom! Boom! Boom!
As the voice faded, the handprint was torn apart and dispersed, thundering all over the place.
“Who is it?” Tang Quan was jolted. He jerked his head around to see the source of the sword Qi.
The other people who had been taken aback too, all glanced over their shoulders.
Yin Lige was in an aftershock of his narrow escape. He also turned to where the sword Qi came from.
Su Mo finally rose to his feet.
He walked over to Yin Lige emotionlessly with the Spirit-slayer Sword in his hand.
“Who is he? How dare he stop Tang Quan! Is he not afraid?”
“He’s from Gale Island. Given he could unmake Tang Quan’s strike with only one swing, he appears to be very strong.”
Those who did not know Su Mo looked both surprised and bewildered.
“He’s Su Mo!” someone who knew Su Mo shouted.
“What? That’s Su Mo! He’s so strong!”
“Is he going to fight against Tang Quan? How dare he!”
“…”
The square was filled with the hum of voices. All the eyes were fixed on Su Mo, blazing with shock and uncertainty.
Many people looked dismissive. In their views, Su Mo must be too bumptious to understand what was going on here.
A large number of Disciples of the Sky Alliance still burned with the desire of killing Su Mo. They had seen him but were distracted by the fight.
Qin Qianyue’s eyes flickered with amusement. She knew Su Mo’s real strength, but she did not believe that he could beat Tang Quan.
Tang Quan even had the ability to defeat Yin Lige with one strike. Even though Su Mo was much stronger than Yin Lige and as good as an ordinary fighter at the Lv 1 Spiritual Martial Realm, it is impossible for him to beat Tang Quan, who appeared to be better than that.

“Young man, are you expecting a quick death too?” Tang Quan sized Su Mo up and asked with a ghastly smile.
Su Mo, however, totally ignored Tang Quan. He walked straight to Yin Lige, to whom he said, “Yin Lige, I’ll be the one to take your life. I’ll not allow anyone to snatch it from me.”
Tang Quan’s smile died and the look on his face hardened. How could Su Mo ignore him, a powerful fighter in the True Spirit Realm?
Meanwhile, Yin Lige, who was half buried in the ground, shook his body and then sprang out.
“Su Mo, I ought to thank you for saving my life,” Yin Lige said in a deep voice. Then his tone turned cold. “But, that won’t change my mind to kill you, since you’re my enemy.”
Yin Lige decided to kill Su Mo before finding a way to escape from Tang Quan.
Although he was weaker than Tang Quan, he had the confidence that he could escape.
He did not manage to do that before, however, because he had been completely suppressed by Tang Quan’s rapid strike.
“You still want to kill me?” Su Mo sniffed. “Come and have a try! Let’s see if you can take a strike of mine.”
Su Mo had not expected Yin Lige to thank him. He would not spare Yin Lige anyway.
“What? One strike?” Yin Lige’s face dropped. A nobody who dared to despise him. What an amusement!
“One strike?” Everyone gazed open-mouthed. They did not believe their ears! Su Mo had actually boasted that Yin Lige might not take his one strike.
“How arrogant!”
“Ha ha! Does he really think he’s a fighter comparable to Tang Quan?”
“Interesting! I haven’t seen any braggart like him before!”
Su Mo’s words had stirred the atmosphere of the square.
However the people thought of Su Mo, he had the absolute confidence that no peer was able to parry one strike of his.

Like the Nangong Linjue, who had his ability above all his peers, Su Mo was also certain to beat him at the first try.
Tang Quan landed on the square. He sneered at Su Mo and Yin Lige.
Although his eyes were ablaze with anger because of Su Mo’s disregard, he decided to control his temper.
It was a nice chance to enjoy the conflict among the disciples of the Gale Island!
In the end, he would simply kill whoever won.
“Yin Lige, I’ll never forgive you for turning all of the Inner Disciples against me!” Su Mo said frostily, “Only one swing, I can kill you with only one swing!”
With that, Su Mo’s aura showed a bulge. His sword momentum was soaring as if he had become an unsurpassable sword.
“Drop dead!” With a flash, Su Mo appeared in front of Yin Lige. He was glaring and his Spirit-slayer Sword shone with great brilliance, shooting up into the firmament. He wielded the sword at Yin Lige with the piercing radiance that looked like it was going to halve the world.
The nine Spiritual Spirals inside Su Mo ran wildly to provide endless genuine Qi for the Spirit-slayer Sword.
The strike was sent out with great violence. An ordinary Upper Lv 2 Sword could not carry such an enormous amount of genuine Qi with impunity. However, Spirit-slayer Sword was a Medium Lv 3 weapon, tough enough to absorb the power given by the nine Spiritual Spirals.
The spectators gaped at the immense power. Even Tang Quan narrowed his eyes.
“How is it possible?” Yin Lige snarled. Su Mo’s attack was oppressing him even more than the Roaring Flame Palm from Tang Quan did.
“Roar!”
Yin Lige desperately punched out, trying to ward it off.
However, this blow was far beyond the skill of a martial artist in the Spiritual Martial Realm. Even a regular fighter in the True Spirit Realm might not be able to bear the impact, let alone Yin Lige.
Rip!
As the blade wielded down, hot blood spattered up to about five meters in the air.
The sword cut right through Yin Lige, from head to hip, dividing him in half.
As the sword radiance flashed by, onrushing sword Qi broke into Yin Lige’s dead body and blew it up. For a moment, the body parts and blood were splashing all over the place.
Clang!
When Su Mo withdrew his sword, Yin Lige had turned into pieces.
The entire place was dead silent!
The astonishment rooted everyone to the spot.
Qin Qianyue stood wide-eyed. She could not believe her eyes.
Jian Wuyou, the No.1 Inner Disciple of the Sky Rapier Sect, was also stunned.
Chu Yan’s jaw dropped too. His thoughts were all jumbled up. He could not believe that the incomparable Yin Lige, was killed by his peer with a single stroke.
Su Mo was the real peerless fighter in the Spiritual Martial Realm!
Tang Quan’s face fell now. Su Mo was way better than any of the martial artists in the Spiritual Martial Realm that he had ever seen.
The disciples of the Gale Island looked as if they were stupefied. Su Mo killing Yin Lige with one swing seemed untrue to them.
Among the crowd, Ling Muchen stared at Su Mo with his mind completely blank.
Being watched by all the people around, Su Mo picked up Yin Lige’s storage pouch from the scattered body pieces.
Su Mo put it away and then glanced around the square.
By now, almost all the participants from the four sects had returned, except those who did not make it.
A moment later, Su Mo said loudly, “Give me your storage pouches, all of you!”
His words were like another bombshell thrown into the silent crowd.

Note to Reader: I understand this book is not for everyone, if there is a writer that can write to please everyone, I have never heard of them. The MC can be frustrating in his decisions as he learns to grow and accept what and who he is. I believe this reality is unavoidable. That being said, if you feel the need to give a review, please do so, just know that I will report you if all that review seems to do is blab toxic language and insult my literary choices without giving constructive advice or alternatives. That's not just a me policy, that's a policy of this website. I'm not writing this note because I'm a writer who does not acknowledge that there are faults in my work. I know there are. That's what happens when it hasn't been professionally edited by someone other than the author. I'm saying this because I'm sick of reading 1 star or 0.5 star rated reviews that seem to do nothing but hate on the book because they don't like the story. No comments on grammar, ways to improve or suggestions for better story arcs. Just plain hate. It's not on, and I frankly shouldn't have to write this note, but needed to get it off my chest. In saying all that, thank you to those who do leave reviews that don't fall into the above category. Your appreciation of my work, or alternatively, your willingness to give advice for improvement, is appreciated.

Monghe, stuck in a school exemplifying strength for most of his life, began to understand what he needed to do in order to be strong instead of weak. Story is mostly about nothing. Fermboi does most of the nothing. Aventina does most of the military things. Bolahulag does a balance of economy and military. Derai focuses on economy. Monghe spitfires what it means to be a typical hero. Hopefully this is enough to give a general idea to people who don’t like going blind aside from the work being purportedly “good.” Who am I kidding, my writing is terrible. I hope it improves though.
