Chapter 248: Half of a Lower Spiritual Stone
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Meng Han rushed to Qi Feiyu and frowned at his injuries.
“Feiyu, are you alright?” Meng Han asked with concern.
“I’m fine, Elder Meng.” Qi Feiyu embarrassingly shook his head.
The missing palm would definitely hurt him down the line.
Meng Han nodded and turned to stare at Su Mo.
“Su Mo, don’t you feel any guilt for mercilessly killing your fellow disciples?” Meng Han growled and charged Su Mo with killing his brothers.
“Mercilessly killing my fellow disciples?” Su Mo sneered and asked, “You’re Elder Meng, right? Are you blind? Didn’t you see that they attacked me first?”
As a member of the Sky Alliance, Elder Meng apparently held a bias against Su Mo.
Su Mo, however, had no fear of him. He believed that no-one dared to kill him in public, as he was valued by the Highest Elder.
The crowd was stunned as they heard this conversation.
Su Mo had dared to publicly insult an elder!
“What did you say?” Meng Han glared at Su Mo and flew into a rage.
Su Mo had dared to say that Elder Meng had no eyes to see! As an inner elder, he had never ever been humiliated like this before, let alone by a disciple.
“Su Mo, I’ll execute you now for killing fellow disciples and for contending against me!”
Meng Han bellowed, the imposing feeling about him growing and his eyes beaming with a powerful killing desire.
Meng Han was much more powerful than Qi Feiyu, and his stature overwhelmed all that was around him.
Frightened by Meng Han, the Outer Disciples around the area were all forced to fall back.
Su Mo frowned at Meng Han’s strength. Meng Han was likely at least at the Lv 5 or Lv 6 True Spirit Realm, which was greatly overwhelming.

“Elder Meng, I’m only an Inner Disciple, I dare not provoke you!” Su Mo shook his head and sardonically said, “Everyone saw the three of them attacking me first, yet you are still indiscriminate with your convictions. How righteous of you!”
Upon hearing what Su Mo said, the Outer Disciples around began to whisper.
“Elder Meng obviously hates Su Mo.”
“It’s really an injustice!”
“Su Mo did nothing wrong, he was just protecting himself.”
“… ” Meng Han’s face darkened and he said with a frown, “Regardless, you’ve killed and injured your fellow disciples. Stop arguing about this!”
Meng Han could not wait to kill Su Mo, but there was not enough reason for him to do so.
Besides, Su Mo feared nothing with the Highest Elder at his back, so Meng Han had to hold his anger reluctantly.
If Su Mo was killed by Qi Feiyu, there would be no disputes about the duel at all.
But if he were indiscriminately killed by an inner elder, it would probably enrage the highest elder.
Unable to kill Su Mo, Meng Han still felt the need to punish him.
Su Mo kept silent. He knew well that Meng Han was determined to declare him guilty, no matter how hard he tried to defend himself.
“Cat got your tongue? Are you admitting your guilt?” Meng Han smirked and said.
Su Mo coldly said, “When I talk you say that I’m arguing, when I don’t talk then you just say I’m yielding! It doesn’t matter what I say, you’ll arbitrarily charge me anyway. Why, then, should I talk?”
Su Mo’s plain words conveyed an incisive irony.
“You… How dare you!” Meng Han shouted, “I’m always impartial, there’s sufficient evidence to prove your guilt!”
What Su Mo said had fully exposed his partiality, which greatly irritated him.

“For hurting fellow disciples and defying Sect regulations, I will now destroy your cultivation!”
With hatred in his eyes, Meng Han decided to ruin Su Mo’s cultivation rather than slightly punish him. He wanted to give Su Mo an unforgettable lesson.
Meng Han raised his palm full of Genuine Vitality and prepared to attack Su Mo.
Su Mo squinted and tensed. He planned to run away, for he knew well that there was a long way to go before he could match Meng Han.
“Meng Han, you’re pushing it too far!” The Second Elder of inner
“The Second Elder! ”
The Second Elder was a trusted subordinate to the Highest Elder. Meng Han’s face darkened as they represented different factions. It would now be impossible for him to punish Su Mo!
“Second Elder! ”
Meng Han bowed to greet the Second Elder, feigning respect.
“Meng Han, I’m aware of the situation and Su Mo is innocent.” the Second Elder said to Meng Han, nodding to Su Mo.
“That…!”
Meng Han turned pale as the Second Elder irrefutably declared Su Mo innocent.
Hesitating for a while, Meng Han said, “Second Elder, even if Su Mo injured Qi Feiyu for self-protection, shouldn’t he be punished for rising up against me?”
The Second Elder frowned at Meng Han’s stubbornness.
Su Mo smirked and smiled scornfully when he heard Meng Han.
“Elder Meng, let me compensate you for insulting your dignity!” Su Mo gently smiled and said.
Meng Han was stunned and then asked, “How are you going to compensate me?”
The Second Elder also felt puzzled by Su Mo’s response.
Instantly, Su Mo took out a Lower Spiritual Stone.
Regardless of others’ doubts, Su Mo suddenly broke that stone into two.
Su Mo handed Meng Han half of the Lower Spiritual Stone, wore a sincere smile and said, “Elder Meng, I think this is enough to make up for your dignity!”
The crowd present fell into dead silence. They were all stupefied, the Second Elder included.
Everyone turned to look at Meng Han, only to find his face convulsing with fury.
Meng Han burst into a rage.
Su Mo gave him half a Lower Spiritual Stone as compensation to compensate for his dignity?
His dignity, in Su Mo’s eyes, was only worth half a Lower Spiritual Stone?
