Chapter 286: Jin Yang’s Arrogance
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Swish!
After the announcement, Jin Yang opened his chilly eyes, took one step forward and stood on the fighting ring.
On the spectators stand, Ren Qianshan was saddened to meet Jin Yang for his first battle.
But still, Ren Qianshan stood up and flew to the fighting ring.
“Jin Yang, please enlighten me!” Ren Qianshan spoke seriously. He had wanted to admit defeat immediately but did not want to simply lie down, so he eventually decided to take up the battle. Although he was bound to lose, he would not have any regrets!
When Jin Yang saw Ren Qianshan flying to the fighting ring, he smirked and said, “You knew it’s me and still haven’t admitted defeat. Do you think that you’re qualified to duel with me?”
Ren Qianshan replied, “Even though I’m not your match, I’d still like to try!”
“Try? You need to pay for trying!” Jin Yang mocked him. He suddenly attacked, using his hand as a saber.
A fiery saber Qi chopped violently at Ren Qianshan. It was over 10 meters long and stunningly fast like lightning.
Jin Yang attacked with all his might. The stroke was quick, accurate and vicious! The horrifying saber Qi was right in front of Ren Qianshan in an instant.
“Oh no!” Ren Qianshan was stunned. He did not expect Jin Yang, one of the Four Talents of Skymoon Country, to be so brusque and to attack so viciously.
At this moment, it was too late to admit defeat or avoid it. Within split seconds, Ren Qianshan punched to block the saber radiance.
Boom!
The saber Qi was so powerful that it tore Ren Qianshan’s resistance apart and chopped into him.
Whoosh!
Ren Qianshan’s blood spilled, and he died in an instant.
“The price is death!” Jin Yang said plainly as he glanced at Ren Qianshan’s body.

There was a dead silence. Everyone watched the fighting ring and the deceased Ren Qianshan in shock.
“Jin Yang was so ruthless, he killed Ren Qianshan in one stroke!”
“Do the Scorching Sun Sect and the Gale Island have such a deep hatred for each other that every battle should be filled with blood?”
Su Mo’s eyes turned chilly. “Jin Yang, are you courting death?”
Su Mo was venomous. Although he was not on good terms with Ren Qianshan, having a fellow disciple killed still chilled him.
“How dare you!”
“Jin Yang, you’re too violent!” The First and Second Elders shouted and bristled with anger.
“Violent? Our vendetta runs deep for ages. How is that violent!” Jin Yang smiled in disdain and said arrogantly, “I’ll kill all the small fries from Gale Island!”
“You’re courting death!” Jin Yang’s arrogance made both Elders flew into a rage. Even though they did not belong to the same group in Gale Island, they would still defend its dignity.
Both of them dashed toward Jin Yang to kill him.
“Are you disregarding me?” The First Elder, Lie Huo, and another elder from the Scorching Sun Sect shouted and flew in front of Jin Yang.
Lie Huo was already alert! He would not let Jin Yang be in danger.
“Lie Huo, do you want to start a war with Gale Island?” the Second Elder howled.
“Let’s do it, I’m not afraid of you!” Lie Huo replied in disdain.
“You are going too far!” the First Elder roared. He activated his Genuine Vitality and prepared to attack.
Everyone was shaking their head silently, feeling helpless. The grudges between the Scorching Sun Sect and the Gale Island had been accumulated for ages. They could have conflicts anywhere, not to mention the vying of quota for the positions. It looked like another battle was brewing!

“That’s enough! Don’t disrupt the competition!” Immortal Wande said with a plain voice that implied unrejectable prestige.
Upon hearing him, both elders’ face turned. The First Elder then unwillingly said, “Immortal Wande, the Scorching Sun Sect’s disciple was brutal and ruthless, intentionally killing my Gale Island’s disciple. Isn’t this disrupting the competition?”
Immortal Wande was an expert in the Enlightenment Realm, hence, both elders dared not disobey him. But they still felt reluctant.
Immortal Wande spoke calmly, “I won’t pursue any killings during duels. I only want the best 30 elites. If you can’t take it lying down, you can also do the same!”
The First Elder nodded silently.
He then looked toward Duan Jingtian and said coldly, “Jingtian, if you run into the Scorching Sun Sect disciples, kill them all!”
“Understood!” Duan Jingtian nodded.
Soon after, both elders returned to their seats.
Jin Yang sneered and also returned to his side of spectators stand.
At Gale Island’s spectators stand, the Second Elder looked at Su Mo and nodded his head lightly, implying to him not to show any mercy to the Scorching Sun Sect disciples.
Many other Gale Island disciples also looked toward Su Mo. Apart from Duan Jingtian, Su Mo was also an expert.
Moreover, Su Mo and Jin Yang were in the same group. It would be interesting if they were to duel!
Su Mo was calm. He slowly nodded and said plainly, “If Jin Yang duel with me, he’ll definitely die!”
Su Mo spoke plainly, but his words indicated a strong sense of confidence.
Lie Huo had been watching the situation in the Gale Island. He felt strange when many Gale Island disciples looked toward a young man.
Lie Huo scrutinized Su Mo before shaking his head. He was not concerned since Su Mo was only at the Peak Lv 2 True Spirit Realm.
Jin Yang also noticed the strange phenomenon among the Gale Island disciples. He then began to observe them. When he saw Su Mo, he was slightly surprised and had doubts.
“He looks familiar. Where have I seen him before?”
Jin Yang was pondering and instantly glared with dazzling eyes.
“In Ethereal Territory.” Jin Yang suddenly recalled he was the mysterious genius who had broken through nine levels in Ethereal Territory and murdered Xin Wuming with one slash.
“He’s a disciple of Gale Island? How’s that possible?”
Jin Yang looked serious and creased his brows. He saw Su Mo’s strength with his own eyes. Su Mo had killed Xin Wuming with one slash. Even though Xin Wuming was injured at that time, an average genius could not have done it.
Jin Yang’s brows slowly spread out again. He obtained a secret skill at Ethereal Territory that could enhance his combat strength. His current strength was comparable to the last few geniuses on the List of Top 100 Talents.
“Even if Su Mo was powerful, I’m not far away from him!”
As he thought about it, Jin Yang revealed a killing desire. “If I could kill Su Mo , Gale Island would suffer a huge loss!”
At the fighting ring, the battles continued. Soon, it was Su Mo’s turn.
Su Mo’s first opponent was a small sect’s disciple whose cultivation was only at the Peak Lv 1 True Spirit Realm.
Su Mo threw him off the fighting ring with a casual punch.
Other than those who knew Su Mo’s strength, the rest of the people had never noticed him.
Afterall, if Su Mo never revealed his true strength, he was only a normal Lv 2 True Spirit Realm martial artist. His strength was considered average among all the disciples.
