Chapter 320: Saber Will
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Zhu Shaojing’s face became grave as he saw Su Mo’s relaxed appearance, then he snapped, “Su Mo, don’t be so arrogant!”
“Haha, that’s the way I am. So what?”
Su Mo was full of smiles as he was reminded that during the banquet of Jia Yuanji, he had defeated Zhu Shaojing, who agitated the others to attack him, so he would teach Zhu Shaojing a lesson today.
“You…!”
Clearly knowing Su Mo’s strength, Zhu Shaojing felt helpless and flushed with great anger, thinking that even Han Yijian, ranked 53rd on the List of Top 100 Talents, could not defeat Su Mo, let alone could he.
Apart from this, he was also afraid of a strike from Su Mo’s sword!
After a short inner struggle, he wanted to give it his all and fight Su Mo aboveboard regardless of the result, considering that he would not lose face this way.
However, Zhu Shaojing banished that thought soon afterward when he remembered that during the banquet his tricks must have irritated Su Mo, who was very likely to take revenge.
His expression quickly changed and he shook his head, saying, “I admit defeat!”
As he finished speaking, Su Mo’s Dragon Luck instantly rushed out to devour his.
Zhu Shaojing’s Dragon Luck was about 50 meters high and all but 10 meters of it were devoured, where now a gloomy golden light remained.
After that, Su Mo’s Dragon Luck surged and rose over 30 meters in the blink of an eye and then became unstoppable.
For now, his shadowy-white Dragon Luck was weaker and it differed from the golden Dragon Luck of those on the List of Top 100 Talents.

Below the stands, Zhu Shaojing admitting defeat shocked many people.
“What’s going on? How can he admit defeat without even trying?”

“Is Su Mo more powerful than Zhu Shaojing?”
“Shame on him! As a talent on the List of Top 100 Talents, he actually admits defeat without even trying!”
Among the crowd who were conversing about this, only a few people who had been at the banquet knew the fact that Su Mo’s strength was beyond imagination.
Zhu Shaojing’s face became pale as he heard those conversations.
But, a short while later, he regained his confidence.
“Humph! You won’t think so when you learn about his strength!”
Zhu Shaojing thought to himself.
Dai Qian, ranked 25th on the List of Top 100 Talents, and Shi Zhengyang, ranked 32nd, were fixing their eyes on Su Mo.
“There is nothing about him that is weak. I can feel his powerful strength and I’m confident that he’ll enter the top 50!”
said Shi Zhengyang.
“I agree with you,”
Dai Qian said with a nod, “but, he’s no match for us after all!”
They acknowledged that Su Mo was indeed powerful, but they would not regard him as a threat.
In the eastern spectator stands,
the elders including the Second Elder, Elder Wei, and the First Elder along with disciples of Gale Island had not regained their composure about the fact that Su Mo had actually won in this way.
The Second Elder and Elder Wei were especially worried earlier that Su Mo would be defeated.
But now, the result was totally beyond their expectations!
“What… what’s going on? Why does Zhu Shaojing admit defeat?”
the second elder asked in bewilderment.
Astonished and confused, Elder Wei shook his head while saying, “I don’t understand either!”
In the western fighting ring,
six rounds had rushed past by. The Dragon Luck of those who had been defeated several times were now less than half a meter. Meanwhile, their tokens were no longer glittering.

The fading of the light on their tokens signified that they had been knocked out.
Currently, as long as another 30 challengers among the remaining 50 were knocked out in upcoming rounds, the competition would end.
As of now, there had not been any fights between powerful talents, indicating that the tokens obviously had not grouped the challengers at random.
However, the eastern ring was different. A fierce fight was going on, immediately catching the eyes of the entire audience.
At present, Prince of Flaming Cloud, Huo Ling, and the Ninth Princess of the imperial family of the Great Hong Empire were 200 meters away from each other.
“You have amazing talent, but it won’t get you anywhere!”
Huo Ling stood in silence, carrying a flaming war saber on his back. The saber was giving off a very intense heat that made the surrounding air slightly twist.
With unparalleled confidence, he only regarded Ao Wushuang as his opponent, even having full confidence that he would be victorious over Wu Sheng, who ranked ahead of him.
The talented Ninth Princess was seen at the Early Lv 4 True Spirit Realm during her earlier fight, so compared with Huo Ling at the peak of Lv 4, she could not defeat him in any case.

“Let’s start!” the Ninth Princess said briefly in a cold voice. Her face masked by the white veil evoked endless imagination.
Huo Ling nodded. In the next moment, his flaming red Genuine Vitality became turbulent, and if taking a glimpse at it, one would mistake it for lava.
Meanwhile, an overwhelming wave of heat rolled out in all directions.
“Clang!”
The long saber was unsheathed in an instant, extending its saber radiance 100 meters out, and it slashed down, as if splitting heaven and earth.
Huo Ling did not underestimate the Ninth Princess because she had earlier defeated a 50th ranked talent with only one move, which was really awesome!
“Ethereal Flower Shield!”
Facing the 4th-ranked Huo Ling, the Ninth Princess acted with certainty, gently lifting her delicate hands, and then a huge petal appeared ahead.
“Boom!”
The saber radiance slashed at the petal, and consequently, as the saber radiance was crushed, the petal was broken into pieces.
“That’s really awesome! You deserve your talent for being able to deal with my strike!”
Huo Ling dully said, “Now I’ll use 70% of my strength. I hope you won’t let me down!”
“Go ahead!”
the Ninth Princess said, still in a cold tone.
Huo Ling nodded, intensifying the aura around him. In the next moment, an unstoppable saber momentum appeared and rushed skyward, sweeping across everywhere.
“It’s saber will!”
“What powerful saber will!”
“Rumor has it he reached a stage of the Grand Completion of saber will. However, the saber will that we saw on him previously was seemingly less powerful!”
“Obviously, he didn’t use the saber will of the Grand Completion!”
Huo Ling’s saber will shocked the entire audience, for only with an upstanding gift could a talent of the True Spirit Realm understand martial will.
Among the youths of the Hong Domain, few understood saber will.
As for Huo Ling, he understood saber will when he was at Lv 2 True Spirit Realm and hit the Grand Completion after years of hard cultivation.
Su Mo was looking at Huo Ling from the western fighting ring. It was the first time that he had seen a martial will talent. Besides, the saber will was even more powerful than sword will.
With the saber will pervading around Huo Ling, he was like a humanoid war saber that was unstoppable with a peerless sharp point.

Dungeon Core Chat Room.
This is a slower-paced "experiment and dungeon building" web novel that tries to use the idea of peer-to-peer communication with Dungeon Cores instead of Dungeon to slave monster communication to break up the detailed dungeon building. Rank 1 description: (minimum met for system initialization...detailed description as follows) Each race was given a system by the gods to make up for their shortcomings and balance their place in this world. Humans: Abysmally bad at understanding and using magic unable to use more than the lowest of magic were given the "Skill System" magic in the form of premade skills with use, study, and mastery tied to experience. Elves: Intuitively understand magic and have long lives leading to vast knowledge and skill in their chosen fields. However, as a species, they have nearly zero sex drive and less than low fertility, so they were gifted the "World Tree System" with experience gained through the care of natural areas – gifting the chance of children to increase their numbers without dirty copulation. All “natural” or “wild” monsters are given an "Evolution system" designed around killing and consuming as many creatures as possible, slowly increasing strength and, at thresholds, allowing mutations to alter them multiple times. Dungeon cores are different. Unlike humans, they can see, manipulate and live off mana. Unlike Elves, they naturally crystallize after extended periods of time in high mana level areas. However, they cannot easily move or communicate and typically go insane without companionship. As a species other than the odd eccentric they are unimaginative. Brute forcing solutions without the drive to truly innovate. Thus they have been gifted with the "Dungeon Connection System" a magical version of the internet accessible by their peers that allows them to barter and sell: bait, traps, monsters, and knowledge, as well as entertain each other with “adventure streams” using exciting recorded battles and humorous reels of arrogant chumps biting off more than they can chew to often fatal effects. This is the casual story of a dungeon unluckily spawned far from potential adventurers forced to innovate beyond its peers to find its place in this world. Rank 2 Description: Justification. I've been on a dungeon core kick for months and while I love the genre – it's sparse with entries. Often the forced conflict gets repetitive and frantic solving of threats "power levels" the protagonist to god levels to progress the plot – taking away the nice steady progression fantasy I'm looking for. (Progression in this story is linked to how strong of monsters/traps/whatever he can create not his "level"...this is demonstrated by some of his newer monsters beating his older monsters not with discrete "this monster has 10 attack this one has 40") Additionally, the focus on 3rd parties with their drama takes away from the reason I’m reading dungeon core novels in the first place – I'm looking for magical crafting, experimentation and kingdom building – not defence from higher and higher levelled enemies looking to steal/destroy/control the MC. This novel is kind of just me writing the story I wish I could read. I like thinking about the experimentation that can be done in fantasy settings using 'mana' as an excuse to make up rules and try to keep them internally consistent. IE once I define how a rule works, I'm going to commit to keeping it – no breaking hard truths I've given when it's convenient, even if it backs me into a corner. Hopefully, that should make the story interesting to read even if it's SOL and less action-oriented. There will be problems to solve and a clear progression in strength (of created monsters and knowledge) however due to not wanting to force conflict for the sake of conflict the general theme will be closer to slice of life with few action sequences and no overarching goal so please keep that in mind when picking this up as the genre is not for everyone. Finally, I have a clear goal of what I want from this story (not an endless romp but a series of arcs and then a conclusion that's a couple of dozen medium-sized chapters long) I want to commit to finishing it or at least bringing it to a point of rest. I hate all the engaging stories that stop with a “hiatus” indefinitely so in the event I lose motivation I'll work to end this even if the ending becomes rushed/unsatisfying just to give a sense of closure. I’m planning on including several polls in terms of direction and taking feedback heavily into account if I get enough readers (but may choose to ignore it if it deviates too far from the direction I want to take this as in feedback like: “The MC needs a cartoonishly evil arch-enemy that wants to enslave him and force the mc to pump out magic items” or “the MC needs to make a body and learn teleportation then live with humans” will get shot down without consideration.)
