Chapter 391: Five Elements Supreme Emperor
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Under the white-haired elder’s watch, Su Mo slowly recovered from his trance.
“Junior, I hope you’ll forgive me, but it’s an important issue!” The elder nodded and said after he roughly scanned through Su Mo’s memory.
He had to be extremely cautious when it came to the revival of Firmament Palace and the hope for Firmament and Continent’s future.
After his inspection, the white-haired elder had a general understanding of Su Mo’s character and finally smiled gleefully.
“Hahaha! Good! Good! Good! After waiting for hundreds of thousands of years, you are finally here! There’s hope for the Firmament and Continent after all!” The elder said with a hearty laugh.
After waiting for countless years and browsing through countless geniuses, no one was able to meet his requirements. He had lost all hope, but now that Su Mo was here, he was completely agitated. He felt as if Firmament Palace rose again and stood on top of the Firmament and Continent.
Su Mo did not realize that the elder had already read his memories and was very confused.
“Junior, I’ve been waiting for hundreds of thousands of years in Firmament Palace for a descendant who can rule the palace. You barely fit my requirements. Would you be willing to enter Firmament Palace and become my Holy Son?” The elder continued without further explanation.
“Holy Son?” Su Mo’s eyes lit up. Hong Qingxuan and Wenren Tianyi were extremely talented martial artists, but they could only become regular disciples, and yet he could be a Holy Son!
“What Legacy does a Holy Son receive?” Su Mo asked curiously as this was his main concern.
“Haha!” The elder laughed in shock, shook his head, and said, “The Holy Son is to be the next Palace Master of Firmament Palace and will rule all nine palaces of Firmament Palace!”

“If you become the Holy Son, everything in this palace will be yours!”
“Huh? All mine?” Su Mo’s heart skipped a beat and could not believe his ears.
“Yes, all yours!” The white-haired elder nodded with a smile and said, “What do you say? As long as you become Firmament Palace’s Holy Son and work endlessly toward the revival of Firmament Palace and the path of the Firmament and Continent, everything here will be yours!”
His eyes sparkled as he waited silently for Su Mo’s answer. He knew that Su Mo would not refuse such temptations.
Su Mo was stunned. “It’s reasonable to revive Firmament Palace as the Holy Son, but why do I have to work toward finding a path for the Firmament and Continent? What’s wrong with it? And what is its path?”
However, Su Mo did not care. The Legacy of Firmament Palace had been around since ancient times and contained endless treasures that would all belong to him so long as he became the Holy Son.
“Only an idiot would refuse. As for the path of the Firmament and Continent, that would be a future problem. He shall see how it goes by then!”
“I agree!” Su Mo answered without a hint of hesitation.
“Hahaha! Good! Good!” The elder laughed again and said, “Come with me!”
As he waved his hand, all of them disappeared from the stone room.
Su Mo suddenly felt a change in space. Suddenly, they reappeared in a vast hall.
Besides a couple dozen statues, there was nothing else in the hall.
All of these statues were at least 16 meters tall with either powerful, menacing, or overbearing expressions.
Although they were only statues, Su Mo could tell that they were all powerful figures when they were alive.

“These are sculptures of all the past Palace Masters of Firmament Palace!”
The white-haired elder and the two puppets gazed at the statues with respectful expressions.
Su Mo nodded and bowed respectfully at each of the statues. Since he was going to be the Holy Son of Firmament Palace, these men were all his ancestors.
There was a stele under each of the statues that recorded brief information about the ancestor.
“Firmament Supreme Emperor, the founder of Firmament Palace, a peerless existence in the ancient times of the Firmament and Continent…” The largest statue was the founder of Firmament Palace.
Su Mo’s heart skipped a beat. “Peerless in the FFirmament and Continent? It seems like I’ve underestimated Firmament Palace.”
“Emperor Bai, the second Palace Master of Firmament Palace, pro-disciple of Firmament Supreme Emperor, wielder of genius swordplay, creator of Grand Firmament Swordplay, peerless in the continent.”
“Thundercloud Emperor, the ninth Palace Master of Firmament Palace, most talented during his time, unparalleled against 30,000 masters in Firmament and Continent…”
“Skyburning Emperor, the sixteenth Palace Master of Firmament Palace with a Martial Soul at Rank 9 Heaven Class and a Fire Spiritual Body, unparalleled among his peers, attained emperor rank in only 20 years…”
“…”
Reading the records under the statues, Su Mo’s heart was filled with awe.
All these men were earth-shattering geniuses, and almost all of them had once dominated the Firmament and Continent.
Even if people could contend with them during their time, no one could defeat them.
“As the future heir to Palace Master, my talent is so much weaker than them!” Su Mo shook his head with a bitter smile. These men were all so much stronger than him!
“Talent doesn’t represent everything!” The white-haired elder shook his head, pointed to a larger statue, and said, “Look over there!”
Su Mo read its stele.
“Five Elements Supreme Emperor, the last and most powerful Palace Master of Firmament Palace, with a weak talent since young, at Rank 1 Human Class Martial Soul. He entered the Qi Cultivation Realm at the age of 18, entered the Spiritual Martial Realm at 30, and entered the True Spirit Realm at 50… entered the Martial Emperor Realm after thousands of years, but had exceptional comprehension and perseverance that led him to dominate the world…”
Su Mo read the stele silently, and his heart raced.
“Rank 1 Human Class Martial Soul?”
“He entered the Qi Cultivation Realm at the age of 18?”
“Spiritual Martial Realm at the age of 30?”
“True Spirit Realm at the age of 50?”
His talent was so much weaker than the others and yet his accomplishments superseded the rest and surpassed the founder of Firmament Palace, Firmament Supreme Emperor, in strength.
The strongest Martial Emperors were called Supreme Emperors, and among all these statues, besides the founder, Firmament Supreme Emperor, Five Elements Supreme Emperor was the only other Supreme Emperor.
“Talent might play an important part in one’s accomplishments, but what’s more important is the passion to become powerful!” The elder said.
Su Mo stood silently for a while. The white-haired elder’s words resonated with him deeply.
“Thank you for your guidance!” Su Mo bowed at the white-haired elder while, at the same time, being agitated.
His Five Elements properties are very strong. Could he inherit Five Elements Supreme Emperor’s Legacy?
