Chapter 635: A Battle of Minds with Still No Result!
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
“You want to kill me?”
Su Mo scoffed and said with a shake of his head, “You’re not worthy!”
His opponent might have been strong and ranked around 700th on the List of Top 1,000 Talents, but Su Mo did not fear him.
Ji Wenyao narrowed his eyes, slightly surprised by Su Mo’s confidence.
“It doesn’t matter to me whether you are ‘Su Mo’ or not!” Ji Wenyao said coldly, “I’ll say this for the last time, leave Black Rock City immediately, and I’ll explain to Qingxuan myself.”
Ji Wenyao wanted to get rid of Su Mo so he could spend time alone with Hong Qingxuan and win her hand.
As for Li Feng, he had no cultivation and could only count on his exceptional physical strength. He could get rid of this guy in a second!
Su Mo chuckled inwardly. Ji Wenyao really thought he was something else, anyone listening in would think he really was in a relationship with her!
“Don’t test my limits!” Su Mo’s eyes were cold.
“You don’t know what you’re saying!” Ji Wenyao yelled coldly. His aura suddenly increased in ferocity and sent out a rapid stream of sword shadows toward Su Mo.
Su Mo’s aura also increased in intensity, and his energy shot toward Ji Wenyao like a sword. They started to exchange invisible blows.
PUFF! PUFF! PUFF!
The space between the two echoed with clashing sounds, and the air was sliced into countless shards.
This was a battle of Minds!
Their sword will and Minds merged to form sharp but amorphous swords.
This was a battle even more dangerous than a physical battle. Any defeat could cause damage to one’s mind and soul.

Gradually, beads of sweat appeared on Ji Wenyao’s forehead and his face grew pale.
Su Mo’s face was cold. His opponent’s sword will may be much stronger than his, but his Mind was far weaker than Su Mo’s.
The Mind was a manifestation of willpower, and so was the sword will. Although Su Mo’s sword will was weaker than his opponent’s, his willpower was enough to crush his opponent.
BLEH!
Soon, Ji Wenyao spat out a mouthful of blood, his face ghastly pale.
He was instantly knocked back by dozens of steps.
“How could this be?” Ji Wenyao shouted in disbelief, shock written all over his face.
He was completely stunned. His cultivation was much higher than Su Mo’s, so technically his Mind should be able to easily overpower his opponent. Yet now, his Mind was the one to sustain injuries.
CLACK! CLACK! CLACK!
Su Mo walked slowly in front of Ji Wenyao and looked straight in his eyes, his gaze sharp.
“Don’t ever mess with me again, or you’d be dead!” Su Mo said coldly and left for the tavern.
Su Mo did not kill him, because Ji Wenyao’s strength was almost equaled his. Even if he were to kill him, it wouldn’t be an easy task.
“You…!”
Ji Wenyao grimaced in discomfort, and he clenched his fists so tightly his bones made a loud cracking sound. His heart was filled with murderous intent.
“Su Mo, let’s wait and see!” Ji Wenyao spat out and turned toward the opposite direction.
His mind had been greatly damaged, and his strength compromised. He needed to recover fully before he could make Su Mo pay.
After Su Mo returned to the tavern, he instantly entered the Divine Map’s Space.
HISS! HISS!
As soon as he entered the Divine Map’s Space, Lil Eight welcomed him with excited roars.

“Do you want to go out?” Su Mo asked curiously, sensing Lil Eight’s frustration.
Lil Eight nodded his head furiously in response, which amused Su Mo.
“I can’t let you out now, but once the time is right, I’ll let you out to play!” Su Mo sighed and said with a smile.
Lil Eight was of a unique lineage, so Su Mo didn’t dare to let it out alone. He could not risk some expert capturing him!
HISS! HISS!
Lil Eight roared happily, shook its giant snake-like tail, and flew off.
It was getting antsy from being trapped in either the spiritual beast pouch or the Divine Map’s Space all the time.
Now that it knew Su Mo was letting it out, it was overjoyed.
Su Mo shook his head and sat down cross-legged in the yard, as he prepared to devour Beast Souls.
WHOOSH!
With a wave of his hand, over 5,000 Beast Soul Crystals piled up before him.
A writhing tiny Beast Soul roared soundlessly in each Soul Crystal.
None of these Beast Souls were Class 9 Lv 5 or Class 8 Lv 5, but mostly Class 6 or Class 7, with a few even under Class 6.
Therefore, Su Mo had a much easier time devouring them compared to the Class 9 Lv 5 Beast Souls he devoured previously.
CRACK! CRACK! CRACK!
Su Mo struck at the pile of Soul Crystals with his palm and over a dozen Soul Crystals shattered. Immediately, Lv 5 Beast Souls sprang out from them.
“Devour!” Su Mo yelled, and released his Devouring Martial Soul.
These Beast Souls were powerful, but they were still defenseless against the devouring power and were instantly devoured by Su Mo.
Then, Su Mo started to frantically devour them.
In no time, all 5,000 Beast Souls had been devoured by him.
He was then dumbfounded for his Devouring Martial Soul had yet to advance.
Although the nine halos of his Devouring Martial Soul had turned light gold, there was no sign of it advancing to Heaven Class.
“Damn it, how could this be?”
Su Mo looked very upset. He had exhausted countless Spiritual Stones and devoured so many Beast Souls, to no avail.
Anger clouded his mind and he felt like he needed to vent.
BOOM!
Su Mo suddenly released a punch and a five-colored fist radiance shot toward a mountain in the distance.
BOOM!!
The 1,000-meter-tall mountain instantly exploded and rubble flew everywhere.
In the blink of an eye, this mountain was practically flattened.
WHEW!
Finally, Su Mo felt a little better and calmed down.
“It doesn’t make sense!” Su Mo furrowed his brows. His Martial Soul should have leveled up a long time ago!
“Did something go wrong somewhere?” Su Mo muttered to himself. If there wasn’t an issue, he should have to have leveled up after devouring so many Beast Souls!
Of course, that was only his own assumption. He was not certain himself.
“I guess I’ll stop devouring Beast Souls and start devouring human Martial Souls.”
Su Mo’s expression grew grave. If he had to devour human Martial Souls, that meant he had to kill a lot of people.
However, in order to help his Devouring Martial Soul advance to Heaven Class, it was his only choice.
Luckily, he was in Devilish Land at the right time, where he could massacre as much as he wanted.

Trial of Champions
It all began with a family trip to an amusement park. How were any of us to expect being transported from Earth to participate in some "Trial of Champions," whatever that was supposed to be? Given only an hour to choose the Classes that would come to define our strengths, we were almost immediately torn away from one another and thrust into a deadly game of survival. It wasn't all bad, though, as terrifying as it could be from time to time. The supernatural and magical powers of the Classes were like something out of an RPG, complete with leveling up by killing monsters and completing so-called "Sub-Trials." And despite the juicy Experience to be gained from killing other Champion Contestants, not all of the participants were bloodthirsty murderers; some could be allied with, or even befriended. Even if it seemed like everyone who had been chosen for this Trial, no matter what universe they came from, was at least a little bit crazy. I would survive this till the end, and I'd make sure that my siblings and parents did as well, no matter how many times we were separated from one another. No matter how long it took. No matter what I had to do. --- A first-person litRPG incorporating classes inspired by D&D and other sources. If you like blue boxes but don't need to have huge lists of numbers to scratch your itch, you should be satisfied on that front. Each chapter is, in my word processing document, seven pages long (approximately 3300-3900 words). The Traumatizing Content warning is there because of discussions of certain topics. Nothing that I think deserves the warning actually happens in the story.

The Crisis on Planet 9
Welcome to the dream colony Planet 9, where the streets are stained by blood and the buildings are filled with human remains. The creatures roaming among the abandoned cars and flying vehicles resemble almost to perfection the mindless cannibalistic zombies born from the fictional nightmares of mankind. The cities were built in the retro style of the 21st century, but the technology of the 24th century is ever present, mostly within the bodies of those mortally challenged monstrosities. After all, what turned them into these things was not an evolved organic virus, an alien disease, or some sort of magical artifact, it was the corrupted and reprogrammed nanobots within their bodies. Originally, they were meant to heal them and help them access the tech around them, but now they were the origin of this disaster. Among the rotting dead and the Nano-Z, as the survivors called them, Kardian Pandora awakens two months after getting bit by one of them. A young teacher at the local Resonance High, foolish and naive in his own way, but now driven by the Sapient AI in the nanobots inside his body to hunt down other Nano-Z and learn how to survive. For now, his only goal is to become strong enough and rejoin his students and fellow colleagues, foolishly hoping to somehow be able to get back to the time when the undead did not rule the streets. Will Kardian be able to survive in this new savage world or will his naive outlook lead him to a dead end? Volume 1 can be bought on Amazon: Resonance High

Gon And Killua Fanfic
Ok similar to my last story this is a fanfic about Gon and Killua. I don't feel comfortable writing about them at the age they are now so I'm aging them up so they will be 16. I have cute pictures to go with the story and some of them they don't look 16 or whatever so we're just going to pretend :)
