Chapter 763: The Mist Mountains
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
“Sure!” Su Mo smiled and nodded.
Then, Deputy Hall Chief Hu led Su Mo up the stairs.
It was a seven-story tower, and he took Su Mo directly to the sixth floor, which was his residence.
It looked like a mini palace, with a living room, crafting room, practicing room, etc.
In the living room, Deputy Hall Chief Hu sat in the main seat while Su Mo sat in the guest seat.
“My friend, can you tell me about the crafting knowledge that your master taught you?”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu smiled, trying to hide his excitement.
Su Mo snorted inwardly. “How can this guy be so greedy?”
The Legacy in his mind was so precious, it could never be given away free of charge.
Su Mo asked, “Senior, can you sell me your Fantasy Stone and Empty-will Wood?”
“Uh…!” The elder hesitated, and then said, “They are too precious to sell!”
Su Mo grinned and said, “Senior, are they more precious than my gift to you?”
“Haha, they are equally as precious!”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu smiled awkwardly. He knew that the Fantasy Stone and Empty-will Wood were nothing compared to that bundle of jade slips, but he could not say it.
Su Mo thought for a while and said, “If you give me the two materials, I can tell you some more profound craftsmanship knowledge!”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu’s eyes glittered, and his face indicated that he was thrilled. “Seriously?”
“Of course!” Su Mo nodded with a smile.
The elder was overjoyed and said, “Good. Then I’ll give them to you at no charge!”
He was not afraid that Su Mo was cheating him. Because if he did, Su Mo would never walk out of the tower alive.

Then, he flipped over his hand to reveal two items—a fist-sized stone, and a two-foot-long piece of rotten wood.
The stone was completely different from ordinary stones. It glittered with seven-colored neon lights and looked gorgeous.
The piece of rotten wood was completely jet-black without any luster, but it had a magic that could suck people’s Mind.
As soon as Su Mo gave it a glance, he felt that his Mind was being sucked into it.
Su Mo smiled. He confirmed that they were genuine because their features were exactly the same as described in the Natal Swordcraft Techniques.
Moreover, it only took a tiny amount of them to craft one Natal Spiritual Sword. These two pieces in front of him were enough to craft 20 Natal Spiritual Swords.
The elder then waved them over to Su Mo.
Su Mo grabbed them and solemnly packed them up.
“Thank you very much!” Su Mo said politely.
The elder smiled and said, “It’s your turn now, my friend.”
“Definitely!” Su Mo nodded. He was a reasonable man.
He thought for a while and then started to talk about the Royal craftsmanship.
Although Su Mo’s craftsmanship was far inferior to that of Deputy Hall Chief Hu, the Legacy of Ou Lianzi made him invincible in craftsmanship theories.
Su Mo did not give him any detailed knowledge because he did not like this elder. It was up to the elder to digest the knowledge.
The truth was that Su Mo understood the knowledge that he was speaking about.
And Deputy Hall Chief Hu listened very carefully and looked like a student eager for knowledge.
Time passed, and after two hours, Su Mo stopped talking.
“Senior, let’s call it a day. I have other issues to deal with. I should go now!”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu was shocked upon hearing this.

He asked hurriedly, “Brother Su Mo, where are you going?” He called Su Mo “brother” now instead of “friend”.
As Su Mo suddenly thought of Master Cui, he smiled wickedly in his heart and said, “I’ve offended Master Cui. He’s waiting for me to give me a punishment!”
“What?”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu was stunned and then said furiously, “Lil Cui is unforgivable! Brother Su Mo, don’t mind him. I’ll punish him hard myself!”
“Well, thank you, senior!”
Su Mo smiled and saluted. “I don’t have much time left. I’m going to look for the other materials.”
“What do you want? Maybe I can help!” Deputy Hall Chief Hu said solicitously.
Su Mo was moved upon hearing this. “What if he knows something?”
He then said, “I need Blood-striped seed and Divine Jade.”
“Blood-striped seed and Divine Jade?”
Deputy Hall Chief Hu was surprised. Those two materials were so rare that nobody had seen them in a century!
“Do you know about them, senior?” Su Mo could tell that the elder had heard of them.
The elder nodded and said, “I’ve heard of them, but I’ve never seen them.”
“Where can I find them?”
“I don’t know about Divine Jade, but I do know something about Blood-striped seed.”
“Please tell me, senior!” Su Mo immediately saluted with both hands folded.
Deputy Hall Chief Hu smiled and said, “Haha, brother Su Mo, don’t call me senior anymore. Just call me Elder Hu!”
To him, Su Mo was now a walking treasure, so he had to foster a strong relationship with Su Mo.
As long as he benefited enough from Su Mo, his craftsmanship would surge and he could become an Upper Royal Craftsman.
Su Mo nodded and said again, “Elder Hu, please tell me where it is.”
Elder Hu said in a deep voice, “I’ve heard that about a hundred years ago, somebody obtained Blood-striped seed from the Mist Mountains.”
“Mist Mountains? Where are they?” Su Mo asked curiously.
Elder Hu answered, “In the north, about five million kilometers away from Heaven-sea City.”
Su Mo nodded as his eyes glittered with joy. This message had given him hope.
“Brother Su Mo, are you going there?” Elder Hu asked in surprise.
“Yes, I am. I have to get Blood-striped seed.” Su Mo looked determined.
Elder Hu shook his head and said, “You can’t go there. The Mist Mountains are one of the top 10 forbidden areas of this world. Few people can walk out from there alive!”

The Voice of the World
Jason Elric used to be an ordinary college student living in the heart of San Francisco. He had a part time job, he played online games with friends he got along moderately well with, and he earned reasonably good grades. The worst he really had to worry about in life was turning in his coursework on time and not being late to class. Now, though? Now fighting for his life and running from a horde of giant frogs that want to make him their next meal is just another Tuesday. Thanks to a summoning ritual gone terribly right, Jason has found himself trapped in a world eerily similar to the role playing games games he used to play for fun. Unfortunately for the now ex-college student, everything happening around him is terrifyingly real and if he wants to survive, he’ll have to figure out how to exploit the system for his benefit before it’s too late. The Voice of the World is the first part of what is planned to be a multi-book, Isekai LitRPG story with crafting elements, set in the fantasy world known as Verdania. This is my first time posting online for public consumption, so bear with me as I work to find a style that people like. While I may occasionally write scenes that may deal with heavy concepts, expect this story to be primarily light hearted high fantasy. There will be a lot of common fantasy tropes involved, as this story got its start as a simple practice exercise, rather than any plan to actually post it. However, it’s grown on me, so I felt it’s worth sharing after all. Thus, if you’re looking for more serious/original/unusual stories, you might want to look elsewhere. For the rest of you, feel free to leave suggestions, as well as to point out grammar and spelling mistakes; I’ll do my best to make edits to correct them. I do my own editing currently, and it’s easy to miss things when you know what’s supposed to be there, so such call outs are highly encouraged. Content TLDR: No harems, probably no romance (unless it makes sense for the story later on) (it did, eventually), definitely no sex (keeping this PG-13 or close to it), limited profanity. Does/Will contain mixes of magic and technology (think Warhammer, Final Fantasy); copious amounts of blue tables; race, gender, and sexual equality concepts; crafting sequences; and (slightly, but not overbearingly) strong protagonists. If you don’t like these things, go elsewhere instead of downvoting people for content instead of writing quality. Update Time currently varies, due to personal injury, but the goal is 1/week on Wednesdays, with a possible smaller chapter on weekends if time/health permits.
