Chapter 1036: Dissipating
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
Under the Sky-climbing Ladder of the Firmament Palace was the White Jade Square.
A ray of sword radiance flashed and Su Mo’s figure appeared in the sky above the square.
Then, Su Mo struggled to control the Spiritual Sword and flew towards the Firmament Palace.
Su Mo was beyond exhausted at this point. He had already lost all sense of feeling in his body, and only his powerful Mind was under his control.
However, he had only managed to fly about three meters before falling onto the ground, the Natal Spiritual Sword shot out from beneath him.
The Firmament Palace had an Air-sealing Formation. Those under the Martial Royal Realm would not be able to fly.
The Air-sealing Formation would have been useless against Su Mo had he not been poisoned.
However, his power was mostly gone and he could not use the Dark Force anymore. He was not able to go against the Air-sealing Formation.
Crash!
Su Mo crashed onto the ground, the festering flesh on his body exploded. Black colored blood flowed in all directions.
Su Mo laid on the ground, face up, feeling as if his consciousness was fading.
Whoosh! Whoosh! Whoosh!!
Then, the sounds of people tearing through the sky could be heard. Gold One and the other puppets sensed that someone had come to the Firmament Palace and had flown over immediately.
“Holy Son!”
The puppets exclaimed in shock when they saw Su Mo’s state.
Because Su Mo was surrounded by an aura of death and poison flowed from within him.
“How did this happen?”
The puppets all paled in shock and hurried forward to check. Their expressions changed drastically after checking.
Su Mo’s vitality was almost depleted, almost completely destroyed by the strong poison. Su Mo was on the brink of death.
“Seniors. I…I have been poisoned by a rare poison called the Netherworld Poison Water!”
Su Mo was no longer able to speak and could only use his mind to send telepathic messages to the others.

With that, his features slackened. He felt his vision growing darker and his mind growing fuzzy and he quickly lost consciousness.
“The Netherworld Poison Water? Isn’t that poison from the Sorcerer tribe?”
Gold One and the other puppets were stunned. Many of them did not speak. They knew of this poison because the Trial Tester had once used it.
“We have to wake the Earth Palace Master. He’s the only one who can save the Holy Son!” Fire One, whose body was covered in flames, said.
“But the Palace Master said that we can only wake him when the Holy Son breaks into the Martial Royal Realm!” Stone One said hesitantly.
“We can’t do anything about it now. If we delay anymore, the Holy Son will die and all will be in vain!” Gold One said, shaking his head while the others nodded.
“Alright, then let’s take the Holy Son straight to where the Palace Master is slumbering!” Stone One knew that the matter was urgent and did not object again.
Then, a few puppets immediately brought Su Mo to the Earth Palace and into a stone chamber.
The stone chamber was about a thousand meters wide. There were countless complicated scriptures carved throughout the room, forming a huge formation. Rays of white light streaked through the formation like electrical snakes.
Floating above the formation, was a light blue crystal ball that was at least two meters wide. All the white light streaks gathered around it.
A gray figure was sitting cross-legged inside the crystal ball. It was the Earth Palace Master.
The Earth Palace Master’s eyes were tightly shut. He was slumbering and did not have any aura.
Su Mo had visited this place once, and it had not changed since then.
A few puppets placed Su Mo on the ground. Then, Stone One waved his hands and transformed into an illusion. He formed a complicated symbol with his hands and sent it into the crystal ball.
After a short while, a heavy and intense aura arose from the crystal ball. The Earth Palace Master awoke again.

The Earth Palace Master awoke completely moments later and slowly opened his eyes.
“Greetings, Palace Master!”
“Greetings, Earth Palace Master!”
“Greetings, Earth Palace Master!”
The nine puppets placed their fists together and knelt down, greeting the Earth Palace Master.
Then, Stone One said, “Palace Master, the Holy Son has been poisoned and his life is in danger!”
The Earth Palace Master’s eyes glinted when he heard that. He turned around and looked at Su Mo who was lying on the ground.
“The Netherworld Poison Water!”
The Earth Palace Master identified the poison after he saw Su Mo’s condition.
Whoosh!
The Earth Palace Master moved and the image of his body floated to Su Mo.
Then, he carefully checked Su Mo’s injuries, frowning slightly.
“Earth Palace Master, can the Holy Son be saved?” Gold One asked worriedly.
“Yes, but it’s a little troublesome!”
The Earth Palace Master nodded and spoke in a wizened voice, “Gold One, go and get me some spiritual herbs. They are, Spiritual Calameae, the dragon jade cicada fluid, and the Spiritual snake milk…!”
The Earth Palace Master rattled off several dozen types of herbs, each of them rare medicine never heard of in the outside world.
“Yes!”
Gold One nodded and immediately turned to leave.
Soon, Gold One returned, bringing with him dozens of spiritual herbs and handed them to the Earth Palace Master.
However, the Earth Palace Master did not immediately try to heal Su Mo after taking the spiritual herbs from Gold One. Instead, he looked at the puppets gravely.
The Earth Palace Master looked to be in low spirits. He hesitated for a moment and said, “My soul power is limited. I will dissipate completely after saving the Holy Son. There are some things that have to be arranged. Tell them to the Holy Son once he recovers.”
“Palace Master!”
“Earth Palace Master!”
“Earth Palace Master!”
A look of sorrow appeared on the faces of Stone One and the other puppets. They already knew that the Earth Palace Master would dissipate completely after his awakening this time. But they still could not help the sadness they felt when they heard it.
While the nine puppets were just puppets, they had lived for tens of thousands of years and already had human emotions.
“The Firmament World is about to experience a major calamity. The Holy Son is the hope of the Firmament World and the Firmament Palace. After I dissipate, you nine have to help the Holy Son to take his place as a Palace Master…!”
The Earth Palace Master spoke and instructed the nine on many important things.
Su Mo had been poisoned and had lost consciousness. He was unable to speak to Su Mo face to face, so he could only get the puppets to help him pass on the message.
“Go out! Come back in one day.”
After a long while, and having arranged everything with the puppets, the Earth Palace Master waved his hands.
“Yes!”
The nine puppets answered and then backed out of the stone chamber and shut the stone doors
The nine puppets did not leave but waited outside the stone doors.
Time slowly passed and the nine puppets, who have experienced the passing of tens and thousands of years felt for the first time that time passed slowly.
All was silent in the stone chamber. Gold One, Stone One and the others waited quietly.
A day finally passed amidst the anxious waiting of the nine.
Then, Stone One gently pushed open the door to the stone chamber. The nine puppets entered the chamber.
Su Mo was lying on the ground in the stone chamber alone. The Earth Palace Master had already disappeared.
The nine puppets bowed in the direction of the formation, bidding the Earth Palace Master goodbye.
The Earth Palace Master had accomplished his mission and dissipated completely from the world.
