Chapter 1253: The Gate of Reincarnation
Translator: Transn Editor: Transn
After the spiritual coffin was opened, a Demonic Spirit gushed out from the Flaming Devil Ghost Sage’s Demonic Soul. It headed straight for Qian Xunyue.
Su Mo’s expression intensified. However, he did not stop this spirit. If the old demon had dared to possess Qian Xunyue, he would completely devour his Demonic Soul at once.
His Martial Soul had reached Rank 9 Heaven Class and his power had increased tremendously. It would not be a problem now for him to kill the Flaming Devil Ghost Sage.
However, Su Mo had thought too much. The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage knew what predicament he was in. He did not dare to possess Qian Xunyue.
His Demonic Spirit carefully probed Qian Xunyue’s body once through and then retreated.
“How is she?” Su Mo asked nervously. He was worried that he would say her condition was hopeless.
“Her Spiritual Soul has dissipated, leaving only a whiff of wilful consciousness. And it is very, very weak!”
The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage sighed and continued. “Has she been in this condition for a long time? If it’d only been a few years, we could have revived her. Now it’s too late!”
Boom!
The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage’s words were like a powerful thunderbolt striking Su Mo’s mind. His body shook violently and his face turned pale.
“How did things turn out this way?” Su Mo muttered to himself. He was devastated. Was it really impossible to save her?
The outcome was unacceptable to him!
Although neither Qian Xunyue nor Su Mo had felt much for each other, she was still his woman. They had consummated their marriage.
“Sir Ghost Sage, you are a supreme expert in the Martial Sage Realm. Are you sure you have no other way to help?” Su Mo asked, staring stupidly ahead.
“I have no other way!” The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage sighed. He had probed Qian Xunyue’s condition and was very certain she was no better than a corpse. It was impossible to imagine anyone–even someone in the Empty God Realm–who could revive her.

Su Mo heard him and his face turned even paler. He gradually extended his hand and grabbed hold of Qian Xunyue’s slender white hands, grasping it tightly.
A strong sadness permeated Su Mo’s heart. He was extremely downcast.
“But it’s not absolutely hopeless!” The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage’s voice rang out again.
“What other way do you have?” Su Mo heard him and his eyes suddenly blazed with a keen fire. He hastily asked the Ghost Sage for a solution.
At this point, the Flaming Devil Ghost Sage suddenly turned silent. He did not speak for a long time.
His silence agitated Su Mo more, but Su Mo was not stupid. He immediately understood what the Ghost Sage meant.
It was too important a matter for the Ghost Sage to disclose to Su Mo easily.
“Sir Ghost Sage, I vow to release you after I break into the Martial Honorables Realm. I will find you a nice body to possess. If I, Su Mo, break this vow, may I be destroyed by the heavens and the earth!” Su Mo’s face turned solemn. He uttered an oath, pointing his index finger to the heavens.
“Ha ha! You don’t need to do this. I was only thinking!” The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage smiled. He would disclose the secret to Su Mo even had the latter not taken a vow.
This was because his destiny was still in Su Mo’s hands.
He did not reply Su Mo to see how he would react.
“Sir, what other way do you have?” Su Mo asked hastily.
The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage became silent. Then, he resumed quietly. “There are rumors that a Gate of Reincarnation exists in this boundless universe. It can turn back your destiny. If you locate it, you can revive her!”
“The Gate of Reincarnation?” Su Mo muttered to himself. He was astounded. Birth, death and reincarnation were the laws of heaven. He had not expected anything like this to exist in this world.
“The Gate of Reincarnation can make someone return to life, unfettered by the laws of heaven. That person can live again! Its ways are unbelievably and wonderfully profound!” The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage continued.

“Where is the Gate of Reincarnation?” Su Mo asked in a deep voice.
“I have no idea!”
The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage shook his head and continued. “The Gate of Reincarnation is just a rumor. I heard about it in my childhood days. No one knows whether it really existed!”
Hearing these words, Su Mo’s face turned expressionless. His heart plummeted.
His childhood days?
That must be over 100,000 years ago. And it was simply a rumor that he had heard. The gate might not have existed at all.
However, there was still a glimmer of hope!
No matter how remote it was, a hope was still better than no hope.
He would do his best to locate the Gate of Reincarnation and revive Qian Xunyue.
“Is the Gate of Reincarnation a treasure? Or an abtruse place created by some natural phenomenon?” Su Mo asked again. He was trying to unravel the mystery of the gate.
“I don’t know! It was a 1,000,000,000-year-old legend. I’ve only heard about it by chance.”
The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage shook his head and continued. “Besides, even if it does exist, no one knows if it possess the alleged powers!”
Su Mo could only sighed in his heart. He must wait and become more powerful before he could trace the gate’s location!
His current cultivation was still too low. Even within Star Guzhou, he was still just an ordinary martial artist–let alone in the boundless universe.
“Thank you very much, Sir! I’m sorry to have treated you rudely in the past. I hope you can forgive me!” Su Mo sighed and apologized to show how sorry he was.
“Never mind!” The Flaming Devil Ghost Sage said.
After some time, Su Mo smoothed the rather ruffled hair of Qian Xunyue and closed the lid to the Dark Sky Spiritual Coffin gently. Then, he kept the coffin.
Next, he sat cross-legged and prepared himself to practice.
Cultivation was a fundamental. Without true strength, everything you do would be useless.
He had just shut his eyes when footsteps were heard outside. Soon, someone was knocking on the tower door.
Thump! Thump! Thump!
There was a series of dull, heavy knocks. The entire tower quaked slightly.
Su Mo frowned and swept his spiritual consciousness to the door. He was somewhat surprised by his discovery.
The visitor was Taishi Xuan.
Su Mo was baffled. Why had he come? They were not even close and even had their differences.
Still, Su Mo got up and opened the door.
“What’s the matter?”
He gazed indifferently at the suave, imposing Taishi Xuan who was dressed like a young master.
“Su Mo, you are quite gifted. How about joining our Taishi Family?” Taishi Xuan smiled with his hands behind his back. He had stated his intention directly.
Su Mo heard him and was momentarily stunned. So the man was here to draw him over!
After his battle with Leng Jiang, many of his gifts had been exposed, attracting the interest of the Taishi Family.
“Sorry, I’m not interested!” Su Mo shook his head. He would not join any sect or faction, most certainly not the Taishi Family.
He had no affection for Taishi Xuan. He was arrogant and supercilious; Su Mo would have nothing to do with the man.
Although he was now speaking rather kindly, he was simply trying to rope Su Mo in.
Taishi Xuan’s face turned grave upon hearing this. He had not expected Su Mo’s rejection to be so direct, without any hesitation.
“Su Mo, our family, the Taishis, is one of the most prominent superpowers of the Ancientspirit Galaxy. Are you sure you won’t reconsider your decision?”
Taishi Xuan asked him, his eyes narrowing. He had taken the initiative to invite him over. If Su Mo continued to reject him, it would mean that Su Mo was giving neither him nor the Taishi Family any face.

Sorcery in Boston
The timid daughter of some of the greatest spellcasters ever to have lived has found herself in another world, courtesy of magic gone awry. In Boston, Massachusetts, in the year 1935, she finds some kind souls in a hard era. In the heart of the Great Depression, as war looms around the corner, she seeks to find her place, and must come to terms with both who she is and what she truly desires. Author's Notes: Release Note: I recently realized what the hold up is. My current mental state is not compatible with the planned ending. If I wrote the ending according to what currently feels right, it will be a wretched, cruel ending that feels monstrously unfair and invalidates the work of the various characters... because that's how my life feels at the moment. The planned ending is coming out hollow and awkward, no matter how I write it, and so I've been bashing my head. I will finish it, once I manage to either brute force something decent out, or once my head gets screwed on straight. Audience: This story is not for young children - it contains some profanity, sexual content, violence, gore, and significant adult themes. Most of these are handled delicately enough not to upset teens or adults (hopefully), hence the lack of relevant tags, but it is nonetheless unsuitable for youth. It's fairly slow paced, and focused on the development of very human, very flawed individuals. Length / Completion Estimates: The outline currently involves two books. Book 1 is expected to be done with Chapter 43. It'll probably be completely finished by sometime in March of this year. I expect to move on to the far-more-lighthearted Of Gods and Dungeons (currently in progress / on hiatus). Afterwards, I may decide to redo Book 1, or write Book 2, or actually start sharing the story most dear to me, that I've been working on for several years now. Draft 1: Please be aware that this is first draft material. I do intend to come back to do a second draft after the story is complete. If anyone notices any issues whatsoever with the story, please let me know (pm, etc) so that I can improve the second draft. Writer's Pledge: I've taken the Writer's Pledge, meaning I'm commiting to completing this story. I'm a proud member of WriTE, a group dedicated to finishing stories. It will be done! Behind the Scenes notes: This picture was commissioned from an inked artist by the name of DanP. Up until the time of the protagonist's arrival, history has proceeded as before. Some places and characters have been borrowed from wikipedia entries of interesting figures from the time. I will make note in the chapter comments when such things come up. Naturally, I've taken a great deal of liberty with them. In interest of respecting individuals, I've either attempted to portray them as accurately as possible, or modified them sufficiently enough that they're simply an inspiration, instead of a real portrayal. I've attempted to be as accurate to the era as possible, but I'm not a historian. If you're aware of inaccuracies, please, bring them to my attention so that I can correct them.

Seeker
The Gods are dead As they bled dry, so did the magic which gave them birth. In the new era of technology, its pathetic remnants must hide in the shadows or be locked away. In the ancient era of magic two beings often stood out: Galileo, an immortal scholar obsessed with knowledge and Angelica, the most loyal servant of the greatest among the now dead Gods. But why are they worthy of mention? Because after millennia of isolation, the two emerge in the new world beyond their reckoning. The entire story is told from the third person, however, each chapter will be told from the perspective of only one of the characters. This will be signified by the first letter of their names after the chapter number to avoid confusion. I submitted this fiction as a [participant in the Royal Road Writathon challenge] as well as a participant in National Novel Writing Month. The original challenge had been to finish this entire faction within the month of November reaching the 55.5k word minimum. This goal had been achieved. I do not own the cover picture

Magus Gravity
This is about a person who is summoned to a world to be a hero and save the human race from the demons, clich stuff, he will then make decisions that affect all of those around him(I think this is original). Also, he will not get all the """"females"""" out there in the other world and make a big harem that symbolizes how woman are treated as objects. Remember that this story is something I would like to read, and frankly most of the royal road stories are too damn lusty and filled with porn. But there will be some romance here and there since people get married and I need to talk about that too, so that is classed as romance right?
