Chapter 1379: Ordinary
Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio
When the people heard the disciple, they looked at where he had pointed to and they were taken aback.
There was a flag on a vast piece of far-off grassland.
Yes, it was a flag.
The flag was an exaggerated size. The pole was extremely long with a diameter of over 9,000 meters. It was humongous and it stretched up to the heavens like a divine column.
The flag on the pole was huge. It looked like a screen, covering up the sun and fluttering along with the wind.
The pole and the flag were colorful and beautiful and they captured the attention of everyone.
The disciples were shocked, including Su Mo. Why is there such a huge flag in a star that is not functioning well?
This was not an ordinary flag. Although they were far away from the flag, Su Mo could feel a horrifying aura exuding from it.
“Instructor Wu Jin, what flag is this?” Someone asked Instructor Wu Jin.
Instructor Wu Jin glanced at the flag and a fearful look flashed across his eyes. He then replied, “This is a taboo. It has all along been there. Even after such a long time, no one knows what it is!”
When the disciples heard him, they were even more astonished. No one knows what it is? How can that be! The flag is so huge and it cannot have been there from the beginning!
“This flag is so strange. Has no one checked on it before?” Someone asked.
Instructor Wu Jin sighed and replied, “This is not the only place with such a flag. There are around 100 such flags in the Ancientspirit Galaxy and they are terrifying. Any living thing that goes near them will be killed instantly!”
“What? Is it so powerful?” The disciples were shocked when they heard that.
“That’s right. Even a martial artist who is at the Martial Sage Realm will be killed if he goes near it. It has been rumored that a few years back, a master at the Empty God Realm was killed by it!” Instructor Wu Jin said.

The disciples were stunned. The Empty God Realm masters are invincible. How can such a powerful master be killed by a flag?
“Instructor Wu Jin, is the flag really so powerful? Does it have any other unique characteristics?” Xie Bin asked curiously.
“It is indeed powerful!”
As a high-rank Martial Honored Realm martial artist, Instructor Wu Jin found it unbelievable as well. He said, “There is one thing common about the stars that have this flag in them. None of them function well!”
The stars do not function well? The disciples were baffled. Why does this kind of flag only appear on the stars that are not functioning well?
While they were conversing, the Virtual Ship had gone far away from the flag and it had disappeared from their sight.
After that, no one questioned further about the flag. Although it was strange, it was nothing to do with them, after all!
Su Mo was not bothered by it either. His main concern was the events that would take place at the True Sage Territory.
The speed of the Virtual Ship suddenly slowed down but it was still traveling at a fast speed.
After two hours, they came to a deserted, large hilly area.
A towering mountain was standing tall on the ground before their eyes.
The towering mountain was surrounded by a large number of people.
The entire area, be it in the sky or on the ground, was packed with people.
There was not only the human race but the other races in the Ancientspirit Galaxy were present as well. The area was so packed that one could not see an end to it.
Since there were many people, the area was bustling with noise.
“There are so many people!” Su Mo was shocked to see that there were around 10,000,000 people. As the powerful aura came together, it made one tremor.
The two Virtual Ships from Shenwu Academy had arrived and they caught the attention of the people. Almost everyone turned to look at the Virtual Ships.

They did so not because Shenwu Academy was powerful. Although Shenwu Academy was indeed powerful, they belonged to only the ordinary force of the entire Ancientspirit Galaxy.
The people were attracted to the Virtual Ships as the person who was ranked number one on the True Sage Board was from Shenwu Academy.
“It’s the Virtual Ships from Shenwu Academy!”
“Su Mo should be among them!”
“He should be here. Since he has been ranked number one on the True Sage Board, how can he not be here!”
“I can finally see him for myself!”
“Hohoho! I am looking forward to seeing what he looks like!”
The people commented and all of them had the same objective. They wanted to see what Su Mo looked like.
“Let’s get down!”
Instructor Wu Jin said as he opened the screen cover of the Virtual Ship after it came to a halt.
Su Mo and the rest of the disciples then flew down from the Virtual Ship and landed on a hillock below them.
The disciples and instructors from the other Virtual Ship flew down as well and gathered on the hillock.
Instructor Wu Jin and Instructor Tang Wan then kept the two Virtual Ships and made them disappear into thin air.
The disciples of Shenwu Academy looked around and as they sized the crowd up, all of them were shocked.
They felt under pressure, as all eyes were on them.
All the people in the area were looking at the disciples of Shenwu Academy as they wanted to take a good look at Su Mo.
However, not many people knew Su Mo and only those who had seen him on the images at Glory City knew how he looked like.
“Where is Su Mo?”
“None of them look special!”
“Su Mo is the one wearing the grey shirt!”
“Is he Su Mo? He looks so ordinary!”
“I find him ordinary-looking. He doesn’t look as exaggerated as they made him to be!”
The crowds shouted and discussed Su Mo.
After those who knew Su Mo pointed him out to the rest of the people, everyone started to look at him.
Su Mo looked different from how the people had imagined him.
The people thought that as the number one on the True Sage Board, Su Mo must be outstanding like Jiang Shenye. He must have a charming look and he must possess unique qualities in order to stand out from the crowd.
However, when they saw Su Mo, they found him good-looking but he had an ordinary disposition. He looked like any other youth.
The feeling that Su Mo gave them did not match with the accreditation of the number one ranking on the True Sage Board.
Suddenly, many geniuses looked disappointed. They felt that it was a mismatch.
When Su Mo noticed that the people were looking at him, he felt uneasy.
Anyone would feel the pressure when they were being scrutinized by hundreds and thousands of people. Moreover, some of them were the higher echelons of their forces and they seemed to pierce through Su Mo with their gazes.
Many disciples who were standing beside Su Mo started to move away from him.
They knew that the people were looking at Su Mo and when they stood beside him, they felt scrutinized by the people as well and this made them feel uneasy.
Suddenly, no one was standing near Su Mo and he found himself isolated from everyone.
Crap!
Su Mo was speechless. He took a deep breath to suppress his uneasy feeling and started to size up the people who were in front of him.
