Chapter 1385: Round 2!
Translator: Larbre Studio Editor: Larbre Studio
Wu Ren Wang could not wait any longer. He wanted to capture Su Mo immediately to prevent any mishaps from happening.
Furthermore, the second round was about to begin and he had to act fast.
Hence, the moment Su Mo entered the Sage Gate, he took action.
With a vicious strike of his arm down, a Dark Force Palm split the sky and instantly, a mighty force covered the sky.
Seeing this scene, Su Mo’s eyes immediately shone with killing intent and he was just about to strike back before he quickly suppressed this thought.
A large group of people had just rushed through the Holy Gate and they had not dispersed. With Ren Yundu and many other disciples beside him, if he had actually struck back with an equally strong force to Wu Ren Wang’s, he would probably have injured many others.
Shoosh!
Su Mo immediately exploded with speed and he dodged to the side in a flash. Like a lightning bolt, he quickly managed to avoid the attack.
Dong!
The enormous Dark Force Palm did not hit Su Mo and instead, clashed directly onto the Holy Gate behind him. Instantly, a deafening sound enveloped the place.
Nothing happened to the Holy Gate, while the Dark Force Palm shattered apart with waves of aura pouring out.
Upon seeing this scene, the others in the area quickly retreated backwards to avoid the shock waves.
Everyone was shocked. It seemed that Wu Ren Wang and Su Mo’s hatred for each other ran deep. He had just entered the Holy Gate and had acted out already.
As for Ju Mo and the rest of the people who arrived later, they were not aware of the vengeance between the Sorcerer Tribe and Su Mo and were instantly curious.
Wu Shang, the genius from the Sorcerer Tribe main branch shook his head silently at this scene. Wu Ren Wang was so useless. His cultivation rank was similar to his, at the Rank 9 Martial Emperor Realm. Yet, Su Mo still managed to avoid this attack!
“Su Mo, are you just a turtle hiding in his own shell?” Wu Ren Wang immediately yelled out when he saw Su Mo dodge the attack.
“You really don’t care about your own life. Come for me!” Su Mo stopped after he had retreated a distance backwards as spoke in a cold voice. Since Wu Ren Wang was seeking his own death, Su Mo did not need to think about it much.

For the True Sage Territory test, the Sorcerer Tribe wanted him dead. Despite what he did, the Grand Priest would not let him go.
Hence, instead of letting the Sorcerer Tribesmen take their chances to kill him one after another, he would rather have an all out attack so that he could kill all of them at once.
“Ha ha! Then come for it!” Wu Ren Wang immediately burst out laughing as he prepared his second attack.
However right at that moment, the second round was about to begin. A soft green light shone from the True Sage Stele and a few platforms, each ten thousand feet wide, were formed 10 km around from the stele.
These platforms looked like green-coloured jade plates and there were more than 800 of them. All these jade plates seemed to be the circumference of a Holy Grail where a large circle formation was placed.
Then, the green light covered the crowd and their bodies were pulled towards the jade plate.
“Su Mo, the next round will be your death!” Wu Ren Wang immediately yelled out. Since the second round was about to begin, he had to give up on trying to capture Su Mo.
When the third round came, Su Mo would not be able to escape.
Outside.
The leads of the various superpowers all had a virtual screen in front of them that showed them the happenings in the True Sage Territory.
This wasn’t some mysterious power but the work of disciples who were inside, who used Jade Seals to send the images of the scene in the True Sage Territory.
Looking at the virtual screen in front of him, the Grand Priest clearly saw the scene of Wu Ren Wang attacking Su Mo.
He couldn’t help frowning when Wu Ren Wang’s blow did not hit Su Mo.
The third round allowed participants to challenge each other freely and at that point, Su Mo would not be able to survive. Even if Su Mo was incredibly strong, he wouldn’t be a match for a Rank 9 Martial Emperor like Wu Ren Wang.
Even if Wu Ren Wang did not manage to kill Su Mo, there was still Wu Shang!
Before he arrived, he had already instructed Wu Shang to not allow Su Mo to leave the True Sage Territory alive.

It was the best case scenario for him to allow the Sorcerer Tribe members to kill Su Mo. He wouldn’t even need to take any action.
Otherwise, as the Grand Priest of the Sorcerer Tribe, a medium level Martial Sage, it wouldn’t really sound good for him to kill a Martial Emperor youngster.
Furthermore, he would have gone against the agreement between him and Estate Master Du and Grand Master Huo Yuan. This would enrage the two of them.
Although he wasn’t afraid of Estate Master Du and Grand Master Huo Yuan, the two of them were nonetheless extraordinary people and could bring trouble to the Sorcerer Tribe directly. That would be troublesome.
At that point, Instructor Wu Jin, Tang Wan and Mu Li all wore displeased looks on their faces as they watched the scene unfold in front of their eyes.
It seemed that Su Mo wouldn’t be able to live through this True Sage Territory with the Sorcerer Tribesmen all out to kill him.
However, they did not have any other ideas and could only pray that Su Mo was strong enough to protect himself.
“Interesting!”
As the Sage of Swords Xiao Yao watched the scene in front of him, he smiled slightly. He had naturally heard of Su Mo, the first ranked on the True Sage Board.
However, he had not imagined that the Sorcerer Tribesmen would so outrightly attempt to kill Su Mo.
…
Shoosh shoosh shoosh!!
The geniuses who entered the Holy Gate dispersed and lowered themselves onto the green coloured platforms.
Which platform they landed on was entirely based on luck and it was something that none of them could control.
At that moment, many of the geniuses were silently praying that the platform they landed on would not be against any insanely strong person.
This was because for this round, everyone would be under the assault of the Holy Rain. Furthermore only one person on each platform would be able to pass the round. The one who could withstand the Holy Rain the longest, up till the end, would be able to pass.
If they ended up on the same platform as Ju Mo, Jiang Shen Ye or Fei Zhangyun, those whose powers and talents were extraordinary, they would not be able to withstand the Holy Rain longer than those people.
Shoosh shoosh shoosh!!
Human figures dispersed all over the area and in a mere span of 3 breaths, 20000 people were distributed over 800 platforms with around 250 to 260 people on each of them.
“Ah! I am dead!”
“My god! How could I be so unlucky!”
‘I really have no luck!”
In the next moment, screams, grumbles and weeps filled the air as many geniuses found themselves on a platform with one of the strong experts ranked on the True Sage Board.
There were only 200 people who were ranked on the True Sage Board while there were around 800 platforms. To be on the same platform as one of the geniuses on the True Sage Board could only mean that one’s luck wasn’t too good.
For instance, Ren Yun Du was disappointed that the second-ranked Ju Mo on the True Sage Board was also on his platform. This was really his luck at its worst.
His power wasn’t much weaker than the last few ranked on the True Sage Board, it was even comparable to You Tian Han’s. In normal circumstances, he would be able to pass through to the third round easily. However, this time he was done.
Su Mo landed on one of the green platforms and he quickly scanned through the 256 other geniuses who landed on the same platform as him. A large number of them were regular humans, a minority were of the Sorcerer Tribe, Giant Beings, Flying Spirit Clan. However, their cultivation ranks were all high and his rank was the lowest.
However, he did not notice any top experts on his platform and hence he did not need to worry.
Of course, he didn’t recognise most of the geniuses ranked on the True Sage Board. Even if those geniuses were on the same platform as him, as long as they weren’t the top few geniuses ranked, Su Mo would not be greatly threatened.
Nonetheless, while Su Mo did not bother much about the others, there were quite a few geniuses who saw him as a threat!
